Aight. I’ve been looking at 1000’s of reviews, and I’m sold on Mystery Ranch 2 DAP in black wildfire. I am also a sucker for high vis orange interiors and the interior of the 2 DAP just made me fall in love ❤
Hey Carl - thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you might be curious about the GR1 and GR2, based on the reference to stitching. If you are asking about GORUCK, specifically: we've worked with GORUCK for close to a decade and we have folks on our team who have had their GR1s for as long as that. They’ve beat them to hell with travel and everyday wear, and those bags are still holding up. GORUCK also backs all of their bags with a lifetime guarantee behind their Scars Program - so if your bag does rip or tear, it goes to their team for a repair or replacement. If you’re asking about all of the bags: we have someone on the Huckberry Team who has field-tested for any given model. Bellroy, Mystery Ranch, Peak Design, and Filson are all brands we back and respect for their quality - and a major factor in our selections for this video was durability. Let us know if there’s a bag other than the GORUCK that you would like more info about - happy to connect you with a personalized field test account and stamp of approval.
Man I wish companies would put luggage pass throughs on their EDC sized bags. Cause if you use a carry on roller for travel, those 20-26L bags are good for personal items and its nice to set it on there without it falling off. Yet they put pass throughs on their Carry On sized bags, when you probably are just one bagging it and won't have another carry on roller. I guess its fine if you are checking in a big roller.... Aer is the only one that consistently doesn't ignore this on their smaller bags.
if you pay 400 dollars + for a goruck pack that uses same nylon/polyester cordura materials as 95% of bags that cost 100 dollars you are out of your damn mind. Bag is ugly and not usable in real life situations. how that company is still not bankrupt in amazing to me.

Did you guys field test the bags? If not, how can you claim it is tough and stitches are going to hold up?

They mostly sell, and thus recommended, more expensive bags. That is more of the fashion crowd as are their "testers". Just how it is.
Such a clean look with the bellroy. Might have to pick one up this year.
Hi there! Would you guys sell just the leather huckberry patch? I love the patch and already have a bag and wanted to put it on there. It’s sick!
ah man - we don't sell those separately :/
Bummer, no worries. Thanks for the response
Hayden, where is your ring from?
I love the GR2 Heritage Backpack! Are new badges expected to be produced anytime soon?
fingers crossed 🤞

check out the Filson Dryden Backpack - best EDC pack I used with a luggage passthrough. Very simple design

Quit watching after the first 2, the Bellroy and the Goruck. No outside water Bottle holders. Can't take this list seriosly.
