You show the left side, rear panels being removed. That's great but @ 5:17 you show the bottom panel already removed from behind the threshold trim. How was this done? That's a big step. I don't want to pull to hard on the threshold trim save something breaking. Also, how do you remove the top panel? I have the same issue as Rico ltuarte. I need to replace the top panel. Thanks

I see what you are referring to. Apologies - I didn't specifically cover that because I was trying to cover removal during what was actually the installation for me. So you need the armrest panel removed. then the 3 bolts removed (7mm socket). You will already have the forward push clips released with a plastic trim removal tool. So you can pull the forward vertical arm out from under the top panel. Then you can work it out from the threshold by pulling the lower panel up and out at the forward end. That panel is flexible enough to bend and unclip at the bottom. I hope that helps - I realize its not as good as a video.

And how do you remove the top part of that panel, where the metal bars from the convertible move in and out?

What metal bars are you referring to?

@@rashadmcclear3409 The mechanism that moves up and down the convertible top.
There are two plastic covers that I need to replace, because they broke. Those plastic covers have a perfect size hole to let the metal mechanism move up and down

I believe your referring to the flaps that fold away as the soft top bars fold up and down. I didn’t work on them myself. But I do know you need to open the main top cover and leave it in the full open position. This will give you access to the flaps and the spring that controls them.

@@boatinglife1 Thank you, however, no I am not referring to those flaps; I am referring to the plastic covers that are on the top part above the side you removed; In your video, you removed the side, where the speaker is and show that there are some bolts holding it, however you didn't remove the top part on the side, where that plastic cover I need to replace is. It is a cover plastic, not the plastic wings that move, when the top is going up and down. Those I already replaced.

@@ricofede8 Ok, I understand what part. I didn’t remove them but I believe they lift up to be unclipped. You will have to disconnect the spring on the flap door and probably also the rubber trim price at the front of the panel.
