The sad thing is this guy didn't grow up rich, he was raised by a single, working class mother in Australia. He didn't find out his dad was a MILLIONAIRE, not billionaire, until he was 15-16y/o. Once he did, he left his mom, and went to live with his dad. Unfortunately, coming from very little did nothing to keep him grounded, relatable, or humble. Bottom line, he's a 25 y/o man who behaves like an entitled, spoiled teenager.
You see the same thing in many poor folks who suddenly win the lottery. A lot of them splurge & spend their newfound wealth on luxuries & exhorbitant things.

When I was in the Army I served with a guy in Iraq who's Mom was the DA for New Orleans. He was gifted $5 million on his 18th birthday as part of a trust.
I had so much respect for him. He didn't NEED to serve his country to help him accelerate his life he WANTED to serve his country. On top of that he decided to serve as a EOD(bomb ordinance) tech, which is arguable one of the most dangerous jobs in this conflict.
When I asked him why he decided to do all of this when he had it all handed to him and he told me he wanted to serve the country that allowed his family to gain such prosperity. Now THAT'S the definition of a true patriot. I have nothing but respect and kind words for that man.

lol I was homeless for a year and lived with an emotionally and mentally abusive old man for another year. In the ten years prior, my mental health as well as my parent's took a nose dive as we desperately tried to hold onto the house. The entire time, I fought and studied ceaselessly for my grades to get a scholarship to go to college to be a geologist. Here's this asshole being like "I had to work in a job I hate for a year!" while being a stupid sack of bricks. Excellent.
EDIT: Thank you all so much for your amazing and kind words. My childhood friend (now husband) helped me out of that situation and we are finally considering getting a house after almost two years of stable apartment life. Its been hard and i still sometimes have nightmares being in that awful house but im moving forward a little bit, step by step. I'm glad that people are finding hope for their situations and fighting the good fight. With the virus spreading by the thousands even now, we should all remember that at the end of the day a new one begins. Keep on fighting and I love you all!
