One even showed us his huge box of daily meds, half of which were veterinary meds- so it was definately serious. We could have lost him to parvo, distemper, fleas and earmites- you name it. Scary time for both of these young heroes. Dr Bergman and Dr Jesus saved them both- their mom must be sooooooooo disappointed- er, uh, relieved.

I’ve had vertigo for the last 23 years. I’ve been dizzy every single day for those 23 years to varying degrees. On good days, it feels like I’m on a boat in calm seas and on bad days, it feels like I’m in a clothes dryer, going end over end. Some days I can drive myself to work and some days my wife has to drive me. I vomit at some point every single day. On good days, it might just be a few times. On bad days, I might spend the whole day sleeping on the bathroom floor just so I can be close to the toilet. I have to sleep sitting up at a 90 degree angle because laying flat or on my side exacerbates the dizziness. I’ve seen numerous neurologists, functional neurologists, ENT specialists, vestibular therapists and regular physicians. I’ve done every maneuver that every therapist has ever given me to no avail.
My vertigo is caused by some kind of disconnect between my brain and my eyes. My brain has a hard time processing the information that my eyes take in, specifically when I turn or look to the left. When a “normal” person looks or turns to the left from point A to point B, their brain has a function where you can ignore the “noise” (all the visual stimulus between A and B) and that all you are aware of is looking from A to B. When I turn to the left, my brain can’t filter out that noise and , when my eyes arrive at Point B, I have to factor in and deal with all that motion between the two points. This, in turn, causes immediate sickness and an increase in the intensity of my dizziness. Imagine that, every time you turned, it was like you were playing dizzy bat or on a fast moving carousel and that’s how it is for me. Every. Single. Time. I. Turn. My. Head.
I still go to work. I still go to the gym 6 days a week. I still have a family and, if you met me, odds are you would never know I wasn’t “normal.” 98% of my co-workers don’t even know that I’m dizzy every day or that, when I excuse myself to go to the restroom, I’m most likely going to throw up. Only my direct boss and the owner of the company know just for liability sake. So, when I see these skinny little fuck nuggets bitching about dying from vertigo, it gets me a bit upset. These mentally weak little shit stains wouldn’t last a week with my vertigo, much less 23 years. I’ve never made a video complaining, never asked for disability and I’ve never embellished it for sympathy. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. No one deserves to feel like this every day, not even these two fuck sticks.
I’d love to talk with them about actual vertigo and how debilitating it is. If mine hasn’t killed me, his won’t kill him. There were days in my younger years that I would have gladly died to be rid of it and a couple of times that I wanted to blow my own brains out. Luckily, I found a wife with the patience of a saint and the toughness of true bad ass.
In summary, vertigo sucks. If someone you know truly has it, please realize it isn’t just being dizzy or off kilter. All the things you take for granted, like balance and vision and motion, are a struggle every day. It isn’t life threatening but it sucks nonetheless. Don’t let those two scamming fuck stains make you think it isn’t real. It is and I live that nightmare every day

@@jeffn4836 Yeah real vertigo can be absolutely crippling. My mom has it and thankfully the maneuver does help her some, but when it's at its worst she just lays there as the room spins and tries not to vomit.
ThatSaladGirl I just had a 4 day episode where I did not stop spinning for an entire 4 days. Meclizine , Valium, Dramamine, nothing worked. I lost count of how many times I threw up. Lost 13 pounds in 4 days. Shit sucks. Sunday- Thursday morning, that was my life. I slept in my bathtub when my wife was at work since I couldn’t walk without assistance and it was easiest to throw up by just leaning out of the tub instead of walking to the toilet. I’ve fallen so many times, and received so many concussions from slamming my head into walls, doors, floor, etc, that walking is a liability during my bad times.
I hope your mother gets relief soon. I wish this on no one.
