You didn't wet/lube your leader line when clenching down your knot. You might also want to look into different knots for the dropper bead so you can change out beads/leaders quicker and more efficiently. Check out the Duncan loop as a suggestion.
My understanding of Oregon regs, there are only particular water bodies that have that leader length limitation in place-you can know which locations those restrictions are in place by looking at the “regulation exceptions” listed for each water body in each regional zone. For example, Three Rivers and Trask River Main Stream would be examples of water bodies that have that leader length limitation rule applied.
when you have zero confidence fish 2 or 3 beads at once...wtf 2 beads , thought ide seen everything after the ridiculous bobber doggin , what in the hell man
So glad to see you back with more content! Thanks for the great advice and tutorials!
Thanks again!!!
Hy so long on second bead?
I have a reel that keeps getting more line up on top, kind of tapered up from the bottom. It’s a 4000 series with 30lb braid, any idea, thanks
Line spool could not be seated properly. Ive dropped a reel and had this happen.
Some reels come with washers to space the spool on the shaft. My Stradic did, and It works. You can make them from thin gasket material.

Why is the hook so far away from the soft bead?
Hot Chow!
any leader over 36 inches is illegal in Oregon. We don’t allow flossing/snagging. We’d have to shorten that up a bit lol.

@@sheldonlaberee3397 I think a lot of the rivers do. Most Oregon anglers don’t take kindly to snaggers
Is it legal to use a treble hook like this?... it would work a lot better for snagging
