Thank you so much friend! I’ve dedicated a lot of my time to my channel this year and comments like this make all that hard work really worth it! Can’t thank you enough for the support and thanks for watching the videos! It’s so great to know you enjoy them buddy 🙏🏻😊
Just found your channel, Chris. I only recently discovered the joys of Anglesey and plan to make a lot more trips. This location looks tremendous! Great video.
Thanks so much for the support Eddie! Really pleased to hear you enjoyed the video mate! Anglesey is fantastic, so much beauty crammed onto such a small island! Plenty of photograph that's for sure! 👌🏻 If you ever need any recommendations for future visits then please feel free to reach out!
Great video mate! Such a lovely location. We went Southstack Lighthouse around June and never experienced anything like it. We got a stunning sunset. Great photos as well 👌🏼
Thanks for watching Glynn, really appreciate the kind words mate! South Stack is such a great location, especially for wildlife too - so much to photograph! 👌🏻 There's so much to photograph on Anglesey, if you need any recommendations for future visits then feel free to send me a message!
Thanks, really appreciate you taking the time to watch it! You and me both, colours are just starting to turn here which is surprisingly early compared to last year! Heading into the woodland tomorrow to start scouting some autumn compositions! It's the best time of year for photography in my opinion! Hope you have some sucess with your woodland photos! 👌🏻📸
Mate this is an awesome video... I was there with you but I'm super inspired by this!!! So good to spend the day together mate, couldn't have asked for better with those conditions either. Fingers crossed its the same next time 🤞😎😃
Ah thanks so much mate that really means a lot! Thanks for an awesome day of exploring - such a great time man! 👌🏻 We'll have to get planning the next one! 📸😄
i already love this channel and I just found it as i was looking for S5II reviews after realizing it might be a better buy than an S9. looking forward to your future content
Thank you so much, that really means a lot and it's great to hear that you found that S5ii video helpful! Really appreciate you coming back this week, it really does mean the world to small channels like mine! 🙏🏻
As a Panasonic user (S5 II X for video only) I was curious about the video about the switch. Than I watched this one and the one of the Sony goodbye. But it’s reading the comments that I found a truly passionate and nice persone (and polite), thus I’m subscribing. And you shouldn’t thank me, I’m thanking you for the content. Lovely photos and videos, I think the LUMIX really shines in your hands.
That's really kind of you to say, thank you so much for showing your support and for deciding to follow along! I hope you'll enjoy the videos. I'm such a big fan of the Lumix, I was really hesitant about switching as I have zero experience with Lumix cameras but in the short time i've had it, this camera has really blown me away. I hope you enjoy yours too! 📸 Thanks for being here and hopefully see you in the comments of future videos! Appreciate you taking the time to share such a thoughtful comment 🙏🏻
Thanks for watching Chris! You're absolutely right, it was a real privilege seeing Scott work and chatting about all things photography! Finding like-minded people really is one of the most rewarding aspects of photography! It's not my favourite time to shoot either! I've been in a real slump this Summer but i'm really looking forward to the autumn!
As another photographer in Wales (albeit the south), I’ve also seen plenty of photos of that location over the years 😅 But I don’t think I’ve seen a composition like your first shot with the rocks before, and I think it came out great! Really interesting both in terms of leading lines and texture.
Thanks so much Robert, I really appreciate that! Your feedback on that shot is really valuable - I wasn't 100% sure at the time if it would work! Glad you enjoyed the photo 🙏🏻😊. Also really appreciate the support, thanks for tuning in and leaving such a thoughtful comment mate!
Super location, great images to be had just about anytime there, Chris. Could be series of seasonal shots, including dramatic waves crashing, if you are hearty enough for that kind of thing. First comp that featured rocks - good layering; rocks a bit too dominating for my perspective. 2nd of that series is my preference. We all see the world differently. So, swaping ideas has great value, especially if it opens us up to different ways of seeing compositions. Lighthouse textures merit closer pics, almost macro, IMO. Re: sky, are you game for sky swaps? Cheers!
Thanks for watching Paul! Hope you've had a good week mate! Yeah there's so much photographic potential here, more intimate coastal scenes are high on my list for this location, especially around the pillow lava formations around the beach - geologically quite interesting and they make for great subjects when the tide is right. Perhaps during autumn and winter when conditions are a little more dramatic! 👌🏻 Absolutely, there's sometimes a tendency amongst some photographers to be very set in their ways and I guess it's born out of photography being a sometimes solitary past time, but seeing how another photographer approaches a scene can be really insightful. I've never really been a fan of sky replacements in my own work, I like to try and keep things as true to real life as possible. No disrespect to anyone who does manipulate their images in that way. Always appreciate your thoughtful comments, Paul! 🙏🏻 Thanks for tuning in!
Thanks for watching folks! Hope you enjoyed the photos! 📸😊
Chris, you're so good. Not only that your photos are amazing. You're an amazing videographer too. The feels, the music, the mood. Just perfect! 👌

great video, sitting here in southern Indiana late summer and just waiting for our best time of year to shoot the colorful woodlands in the fall

Fun to travel with a mate like @scottedwards . That's great! Thanks for sharing this, Chris. (Summer's not my favorite shooting time, either.)
