truck cap should be easier than you think as exact size is not "required" if you dont mind a slight edge over or under hang. I have put lots of tops on that dont measure specs but work FINE. Hmmm , does your speedometer work properly? I wonder if your speed sensor on the transmission is causing an issue.. there should be a plastic gear inside.. it might be damaged..just a thought.. old fluid can also cause issues. Grab a haircut , it will give you a boost to your step.. and maybe try getting some walking in.. I’m pissed right now , I have a red squirrel in my attic damaging my insulation..🙄

He’s doing the best he can , I think he’s hesitant on messing with it.. seeing he’s got only a parking lot to do repairs. I wonder if he manually were to shift from first to second and so on. Being gentle.. might help to figure it out. Need to check the fluid condition first..

Lucas transmission fix works amazing you probably have a shift solenoid stick and that would help it out
Get a bottle of Lucas Transmission Fix and see if that helps the shift

Nathan, the hard 1-2 shift could just be your throttle Position Sensor. It's a cheap fix, but don't leave it else it could damage your transmission

Clunky shifting could be something as simple as drive shaft union joints.
When was the transmission fluid changed last?
Put some Lucas trans product for hard shifting

Try to change the vacuum module on the transmission it runs of from vacuum might be the problem they are cheap and easy to replace one bolt

this living in a truck is not sustainable, i'd look for a room for rent and then focus on the job and do videos at night
