Never take on a steel plate messes with the compass also, and you need flat land for taking off and landing it has obstacle avoidance. that's why you had that side take off. Tip try not to look too much at the drone practice looking through the camera and pilot by the camera with short glances at the drone location. Soon, you will fly like I do !!

Dude that's awesome. Once you get that transmission fixed I'd love to see a video of you Driving west to the Coast for like a 3 day trip or something & film some beach & camping footage with that Drone.

That twirling is called "HUNTING" Dude you need to give yourself allot more space to launch and learn. You don't know how close you came to smashing that drone to bits hitting your rv. And HUNTING is not a one time thing. It's a GPS thing combined with your on board gyros. Anything can cause interference with the gps and remote control network connection. Always have plenty of room for error when taking off.
