+Michael Scott Breh comparing Clarence to Illyin is silly. Speed at Illyn's strength is crazier than speed w/ lighter loads. They are not in the same league so to say.
tim clarence is amateur his cnj is 220kg his snatch 180 hes a very good lifter and very strong no question i respect them all because its so bloody hard not like doing bicep curls or tricep pushdown n posing on a stage what they do taks tremendous skill
+Michael Scott Look man I'm not disagreeing with you there, respect to Clarence. It's just you are bringing up his name comparing speed in a video about Ilyin. No reason to divert attention from a legend by comparing him to someone who doesn't have anywhere near the same accomplishments on the platform where it matters, not youtube. I admire both for their strength, it's just like bringing up a college basketball player saying he's just as skilled as Michael Jordan.
+specie44 He had snatched 205 off blocks. Hes super fast if he keeps the bar moving. Sometimes when he snatches he stiffens up at the top of the movement and the bar kicks away. Other than that he has insane strength everywhere else. Should be fun to see him do something special in Rio
I just noticed he wears his right sock higher than the left in the clean and jerk, so that the back leg is tighter in the jerk, brilliant
This is what you get when you start training at 8 years old and are built like a tank with perfect weight lifting genetics.
the amazing aspect to me is that he doesn't look the part
So basically, you can only be sucessful if you start training at 8 y.o, have perfect genetics, and use steroids. You guys got any other excuses?
The greatest and most dramatic lift I have ever seen.
He fucking drops under that bar SOOO FUCKING FAST
+americanmambi hes fast check out clarence kennedy on irish lifter hes just as fast

His snatches are insane. Meanwhile I'm struggling with 80kg lol, the guy's a tank.

He's so fast!!! Fuck!!!
Does anybody know what "jerje" or something like that means? what the coach screams everytime he lifts at competition
Sounds like Droje. It means "Hold". Mostly said after the Jerk.
3 years later.
"Haracho" after the Clean means "Good".
my dad naim said ilya use medicine in his no no to make big lifts

The music is terrible
