    • @thetruthseek7866
      @thetruthseek7866 9 років тому +7

      +Ghast Dagger mmm i guess. But he has such good technique and lifts the weight with such confidence and speed. Thats what makes him a badass. Also look at his structure he was build for this. His torso and lengths of his limbs everything is there. Its not all steroids, but ya your right meaning all olympic athletes and elite athletes of every sport wouldn't be anyone without their steroid abuse.

    • @iD4v1d
      @iD4v1d 9 років тому +15

      +Ghast Dagger Every single elite level weightlifter uses steroids. Ilya is the best even among other steroid using weightlifters, so your comment is bullshit.

    • @punypoppy9147
      @punypoppy9147 8 років тому +6

      Same here. Along with technique / skill strength, power is mass times acceleration, explosiveness plays big part in these lifts altough it's not always that visible to the naked eye. Though it becomes apparent when novice tries to deadlift the heaviest weights these guys are clean and jerking heh.

    • @josephgrandesdelgado6821
      @josephgrandesdelgado6821 8 років тому +1

      +jmspls7 Because he already qualified for the olympics by winning the WWC 2014, which was a qualifier event for Rio, but he needed to participate at least on two qualifier events in order to compete in the olympics, so he decided to try in the President`s Cup because it is also a qualifier event (Grand Prixes are qualifier events).

    • @DDenissssss
      @DDenissssss 8 років тому

      +jmspls7 Because it's definitely more comfortable. We know that Ilyin has never lost in international competitions, and if he went to the WWC he would have to do all his best to beat David and Ruslan. And here in Grozny he could have no battle, no struggle. Everything according to the plan. And there are rumours in Russia, that it was a question of big money (for record), and some deal with WADA.

      Todos en el mundo del levantamiento de pesas a nivel élite y olímpico se dopan. Tu comentario solo refleja que eres ignorante acerca de este deporte. Si sancionan a unos mientras que a otros no, se debe únicamente a la política que maneja estas competencias. De todas formas no es mi intención descalificarte o ir a buscar pelea porque sí, solo que me da rabia cuando la gente tilda de dopado a X levantador de pesas cuando todos están involucrados en lo mismo y cualquiera con un poco de conocimiento sobre este mundo sabe que eso es un secreto a voces. Aún sancionado y todo, Ilya es y será uno de los 5 mejores levantadores de pesas de la historia por todos sus records y logros alcanzados. Saludos.

      Jacob Sangiuliano they all dope. Everyone who competes at the olympics dope. It's down to how well they can cover their drug use and down to who is on the right side of USADA and WADA- unfortunately, Kazakhstan and Russia are not. So many fantastic lifters (Lovchev, Aukhadov, Ilyin) now banned.
