    Will dethatch hinder germination of new seed ? It seems to me it could help ? I'm just curious

      I wouldn’t use it during seeding.

    D Thatch just doesn't work good enough. I used it all year and still need to dethatch mechanically. It works, just only good as a supplement.

      If you're using it for the first time, it won't break it all down. However, if using it routinely year to year, you'll notice a big difference. It is a good supplement along with mechanical though.

    Dthatch with the other bio stims turned my lawn from a brown weed infested mess into a green carpet in one season. D-thatch helped the brown go away. Having a St. Augustine lawn the sun joe machine isn’t an option so it’s d-thatch for the win.

      I agree here in northeast Florida with st Augustine grass too.
