Rolf, thanks for the amazing videos. You said in the beginning of the series that you would just film yourself and you wondered if it would be interesting enough. But you underestimate yourself: your videos are pure art. You see the world through the lens of an artist, a lover of nature and of aesthetics. The way you film the moss bouncing back up after you stepped on it says it all. As a fisherman myself, the fishing in the videos is already fantastic. But the aesthetics just make your vids unrivaled by anything else.
I love the editing in all your videos. The juxtaposition of nature shots with your musings is so captivating. In this one I particularly liked the shot of the frog eyes -- like he was watching and listening to your thoughts. great stuff!
I love your videos , you have a rare Gift of making a nice story of fishing , it always remind me of the precious gift of nature that our CREATOR HAS given for us to enjoy, and your take on this subject always makes it very special , because of the way you speak and tell the story , it makes me wanna go fishing right away even if it is winter . ❤❤❤💪💪💪🙌🙌🙌😊
There’s nothing else quite like a Rolf Nylinder fly fishing video. Others try to be artsy or reflective and fail miserably, falling into cliches. Rolf pulls it off seemingly effortlessly, always coming off sincere and true to himself.
Rolf gives us wisdom now along with incredible diary videos. He is absolutely right that telling everyone your problems is not always the answer. Sometimes, you must retreat deep into the unknown woods and find yourself among the trees and on the water.
Seems you guys caught all those pikes I couldn't even sense existed when I was out early May. Tricky month to fish indeed (for me at least :D ). Great footage!
Well done as usual, Rolf. It's good to see you catching pike now. I hope you have some good pike fishing near your home so you have something besides forest trout in your local radius. And it's always good to see The Hillbilly in the mix. (said this West Virginia boy) I had the same experience the first time I tried a belly boat... I hated it, if I'm honest. I prefer wading myself.
Your videos are beautiful Rolf. The older i get, the more I want to slow down and just take in everything around me instead of catch all the fish. You help inspire me to do that!
Another great video , I can almost smell the Swedish forest and freshly cooked coffee. I have good memories of pike fishing in Sweden , not fly fishing but exciting all the same , trolling behind the boat and catching a huge pike 14/15kg was brilliant for the 12 year old me . Later on after loosing an arm in an accident it was again Sweden where I caught my first big pike whilst trying out the rig I'd made . Your video reminded me that life is about such times and things and not about having the latest car or fashionable trinket.
Rolf, On behalf of all the old head anglers who are move or less housebound than we ever were, thank you for your gentle and non-commerical approach in all your videos. As we age we are living through you. ONE THING -- would you mind identifying some of the birds you photograph with an overlay on the screen.
Är det bara jag vars tankar som tycker att Jackson är väldig lik Tommy Bohlin ifrån Percys Tårar? 🤣Han är ett välkommet tillskott till dina redan excellenta videos. ☺
Yups, still one of my favorite fishing channels. I have mentioned this before to a couple of other tubers I follow, (@WildlingSailing & @rokkitkit) but aside from the images you choose and your edits, your sound is totally genius. Both your Diegetic and non-Diegetic sound are as sumptuous as your composition and your color treatment. All complementary to each other... Not sure what you do for a living, but if you are not in broadcast or film, then those industries are missing out.
Love all your vids Rolf. This time though I don’t think you included “English (for the Swedish bits)” in your subtitles. Since my Svenska is abysmal I missed your conversations with Jackson😮
We couldn’t lose our favorite film maker. You rock!!! I’ve been following your work from the beginning of your channel. Enjoy every second in nature and fish all that you can. The day will come when your body no longer cooperates and allows you such pleasures. Those are also words of experience. MS robbed me of fly fishing three years ago. All I have is memories now. You are leaving a profound legacy of your life with our sport. Thank you for all the hard work it’s required young man. You have a superior talent. Well done!

" Are you spending enough time in the woods by yourself?" Great stuff as always

It takes mental strength to be yourself, especially in todays world. Happy there are real humans left, priceless...
Spwnding time alone is absolutely one of the best medicines against depression. But only when it's spent on something you love!
"Have you spent enough time with yourself? Alone?'" this is why i love your content. amazingly beautifully done.

Magiskt, som alltid! 🥰
Best videos. Very relaxing to end a work day with. Thx
Wonderful film yet again Rolf! I have to get me one of those belly boats! :) And those huge Pike! Sweden must really look after their fisheries. Wow!
Always beautiful videos Rolf. I especially love when your friend Jackson makes an appearance.
Definitely an episode! As good as ever.
You inspire me everyday. Thank you for sharing your story.
One day I’ll make it over to fish.
Nice Rolf: setting the mood for my birthday. Day off, going trout fishing. thanks
Mycket bra! Du får med så mycket på 10 minuter 👌🏼

Happy N day Rolf
Thanks for keeping it real 🎣
Rolf, you have been practicing your jaw grip on those pike! Tight lines!
Fantastic, a mixture of being free and trapped, what a prospect, a bit like being soaking wet and hot at the same time. What a life…
YES. Early spring pike fishing is awesome buddy 👍 and little friendly competitions with buddies are always great. Greetings from austria 👋
Beautiful pictures again!!! Great stuff! Greetings from Germany.
You have an episode. Thanks for the inspiration as ever. From a proud patreon-er.
Yay, thank you!
3:30 - you kind of nailed my feelings on the wall there. I need to get out in the woods and brew some kokkaffe and just be lonely!
You sure have an episode my friend. Quality content. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! Ah, I will try to do something about the birds!
love fra Norge Rolf! elsker dine filmer
Älskar din lugna röst som för allt att låta som poesi.
Ok did anyone else see the duck dising the other duck with the face splashing. 🙂 love the videos

Hello, please tell me which camera do you use?
Gh6 Panasonic
What´s the song of the intro and outro?
THX!
Something my friend Jesper Ferrari made for me, there’s no title.
@@RolfNylinder So there´s no track you can listen at the moment? What a pity, sounds like great artist-stuff, like your´s!

Float tube = life jacket.
That’s 40 years of float tube experience talking. Be safe. Too many people have drowned in those things w/o life jackets.
Good point! I’ll do better in the future.

@@jeffbrooks8288 I'm honored your following my fishing trips. Much love.
You somehow always seem to be able to go to the very core of being an angler. All the foibles, flaws and childlike sense of wonder.
