- Join Kevin as he sits down with professional footballer turned actor, Vinnie Jones (Snatch, X-Men: The Last Stand) as they discuss both aspects of his career. Vinnie chats about filming his new television series in historical castles, he and Jason Statham firing tennis balls at paparazzi helicopters, and the fact that he is running out of people to beat up in movies.
Oh the stories. I could listen to Vinnie for hours and hours more.
Great interview - as they all are! As a photog myself, it was really good to hear Vinnie give the photographer, Monte Fresco so much credit. Good man, Vin! A bit more from the photographer himself...
"I wanted a picture of Gazza, because he was the up-and-coming kid at the time," recalls Monte. "Straight from th eoff Vinnie followed Gazza everywhere. I've never been a ball-watcher at football., perhaps because I've only got one eye. So I followed the two of them, and I was lucky. When Vinnie grabbed him and I had a long lens on the, and even though it was a grim February day at Plough Lane. I got four good frames. You see that picture everywhere in the world now. Vinne loves it. He's got an oil painting of it in his house." - Monte Fresco
While I'm sitting here watching these amazing interviews, my computer will often start buffering, and almost every time my immediate thought is "I love these buffering gags!" lol
Great interview. I will always see him as "Big Chris". This show is awesome. You get great guests and very broad interviews. It's nice to have longer than 10 minute interviews from some great folks. Thank you!
I Love Vinnie Jones❤️😊
Thanks for sharing!!
"It's a monologue, Kev. It's a bit more than a fucking sentence." Sounds like something straight out of Snatch.
Same as has been said before, I didn't think this would be up to much but I was very pleasantly surprised by the nice rapport Kevin and Vinnie have which led to some great anecdotes and quite revealing stories. Many thanks and subscribed.
Loved this interview.
love these interviews
What a great guest. Keep up the good work crew.
I loved this conversation. It was fun!
Love the way he say 'this guy pollock' and Polak doesn't notice.
Still cant get over him playing for Wales lol.
Good move not to force him to do the Larry King game :-) BRILLIANT SHOW!
I wish UA-cam would just pepper commercials in this rather than me getting the OH SNAP messages and having to watch the damn commercial over and over again!
happy 56th birthday vincent peter jones !!!
I just watched the Galavant trailer and I want my 3 minutes and 15 seconds back
Vinnie Jones is a very funny guy
Vinnie is not amused with Kevin's 'Go Fuck Yourself' intro... Pollak is a notorious tough guy after all
Great episode. Vinnie seems like a cool dude.
Love this guy.
just to clear things up, the term soccer actually originated in england, a shortened version of as"soc"iation football, the official name. it's used in the majority of english speaking countries, though not as pervasively as the US and canada. In the US we call gridiron football just "football" simply because it is the most popular version of football, as opposed to association football, aussie rules football, rugby football, or gaelic football.
Awesome !!!!
Kevin probably feels quite uncomfortable staring down the barrel of a far superior hat.
Cool guy. Great personality.
1:48:10 - "I see myself out?" Hahaha.
"Why don't we dive 'the fuck' in?" Give us a break with the forced juvenile swearing, Pollak.
No offense, but I just hear light typing in the background the whole time...
thats just jamie, ruining the show per usual.
Sounds more like angry typing. Like she's writing some hate mail or flame war while the show is going on...
The photo of Vinnie Jones grabbing the other guy by the testicles reminds me of the famous NFL photo of Phila. Eagles linebacker Chuck Bednarik celebrating after knocking NY Giants RB Frank Gifford out cold.. Just one of those sports pics that speak a thousand words
I thought he was from Long Beach...
Vinnie Jones!? Vinnie Fucking Jones!
Battle of the hats!
Vinnie rules
But his helmet makes him invincible!
top man vinny because hes honest
It seems to me that another guest on the show told a story not too long ago about taking off his hat for a scene, just like Vinnie and his Juggernault helmet. Does anyone remember who it was?
Martin Mull wasn't it
I didn't think I'd like this but I did.
It was kinda weird when he started talking about foreigners in the English premier league and "opening the floodgates". I was thinking BNP/EDF types and anti-immigration and I'm like, oh I hope that's not what he's on about that would kinda sour probably the only decent interview the guy has had.
Then I figured he was talking about the influence of European football rather than a bunch of coloured people coming to England.
Diving seems to have been much more accepted in greater Europe before England.
Yeah its exactly that, like he said nobody dived to get a free kick awarded back then and hard tackles (of which Vinnie was one of the masters) were accepted more.
He's not racist, in fact one of the foreign players Eric Cantona (also a nutter - search 'Cantona kung fu kick') became a good friend who he regularly took to local blues parties (predominantly Afro-Caribbean run illicit parties in unofficial venues). Apparently they'd drink and party til the morning, get a full english fried breakfast and then go straight to training. VERY different times lol
Why is human Tina Belcher interrupting the momentum?
biggest underdogs? come on vin, overstating it now
Vinnie Jones. Which life of his do you like? I like them all.
Do your homework Kevin, The first Soccer club in America was a British group which called it (drum roll) SOCCER. The Brits named it that.
Let's not hear typing through the whole interview.
Vinnie Jones was a better player than he is often given credit for, but he was also a massive bully. Don't remember him flying into the likes of Mark Hughes or Bryan Robson. Picking on a 19 year old who just wants to play football - very brave.
He wasn't that much older than the guy. only 2 years.
tennis balls
DON'T TYPE SO LOUD!!!!
in the UK football, football fans and any thing to do with Foot ball comes from the shallow end of the Gene pool I and nobody I am friends with play watch or are interested in that BS of a pastime.

Great interview ruined by the god damn typing!
Vinnie Jones is a cool mofo
Please for the love of god, get DAVE CHAPPELLE ON YOUR SHOW!!!!!!
