I can attest to pressure change and labor! I gave birth on the back side of a hurricane. Yes third babies come fast. So happy to hear that you and the baby are healthy and home!
Wow! It is always so interesting to hear everyone’s stories about how nature played a roll in their labor. There is definitely a correlation there I think 😊
Just had my first baby 6 months ago. My water broke in my sleep so I went ahead to the hospital thinking things would move quickly, nope I wasn't even dilated and did until the next day with help the contractions were crazy!
Congratulations on your little one!💚💚 It is really amazing how different every birth can be all three of my children came in completely different ways. -Cara
Congrats. I was the third born and was delivered at home, not by choice. My mom's water broke and I was born 15 minutes later. My wife had our third child on the way to the hospital. Must be something about those third son's wanting to come early. We now have 4 boys. Made me real nervous on the fourth child, since I was at home and still could not her to the hospital on time with the third son. But we made it that time.
Congratulations I knew you must have had the baby when you didn't have a video Friday I glad everything turned out well for you and your family Again congratulations and God bless you and your family 👍♥️♥️🗝️
Congratulations I had babies 30+ years ago with just gas and air with the first two. As you say they're all such different pregnancies and deliveries. My daughter-in-law's last deliver sounds similar epidural for her first but just not time for her second baby out within the hour of arrival at maternity delivery suite. Glad your both well and baby is feeding well. Congratulations again to you all. 😊
I wish gas and air had been offered to me, but unfortunately since I was planning on the epidural they couldn’t mix the two they said. It is amazing who different everyones experiences can be. Congratulations on your new grand baby! 😊😊 and thank you!
5:02 There is a Dr here who noticed that large barometric pressure changes do seem to induce more labors. He also noted that full moons also tend to bring mothers in to birth.🥰🌸💗
There are only three dr’s who do deliveries in my small town area. They still carry beepers and the one I spoke with had come into the hospital when he saw the low pressure system was incoming. He had three different births to deliver that day lol. Old wives were kinda smart imo😉
That is really fascinating! When I was talking to the nurses and doctors in the hospital about the storm inducing me, they did mention that they believe full moons being on labor!
Congratulations! I am grateful that both you and baby are doing well. I had all 3 of mine natural, at home, with a mid-wife in attendance. Because I was young, and I knew I could do it. Looking back now I would definitely go to a hospital and get some pain meds. But I wouldn't trade my children for anything, they and my grandchildren are my world.💖💖💖
Way to go Meg! 😊 It is amazing what the human body can endure, I am thankful for modern medicine though and the option to have things a little less painful. I have a whole new respect for people who choose a medicine free birth.
Congratulations to the new baby. I wish him good health and a happy life. Continue your beautiful content. I am from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and I very much enjoy watching you.❤
Congratulations for the new addition! My first was breech so C-section was mandatory... I was 38 and had no other complications...then at 39 I had my 2nd...My OB wanted me to have another C-section but I hated the first one and refused... poor Doc was more nervous than I was...at the time it was referred to as geriatric pregnancy, according to the books I found! 😅 The epidural only worked on one side so I felt when to push... long story short, I had another healthy baby! So happy for you Cara... get as much rest as you can, when you can! 🤗❤️
I am glad it sounds like you were able to have to healthy babies though! 😊 I had to really push for my VBACs too. My doctor was also rather nervous about it the first time around. Thank you, Ryan is a big help, so thankfully I can nap a little. -Cara
Congratulations! I had a feeling you were close to giving birth! Thanks for sharing your birth story. Back in the day (36 years ago for me giving birth) there was really no mention of having a birth plan although I inadvertently did. I never really gave a thought to having pain meds. I just wanted to have the baby, I was done being pregnant! 10 lbs 3 oz later-my girl was born! I remember thinking “wow-that was really hard work!” My husband quoted scripture to me through labor and that helped tremendously! So happy you and your baby are doing well! Many blessings for your family 💙
Wow a 10lb 3 oz baby! You are a superwoman Bobbi! 😊 What a beautiful partnership it sounds like you and your husband have, the power of scripture is a blessing indeed. Slight funny story I forgot to mention in the video, but at one point Ryan closed his eyes and bowed his head to pray when I was pushing and a nurse rushed over to him, because they thought he was going to pass out.
@@bluebirdhomestead I’m really not a superwoman, I spent the entire 9 months really feeding and meditating on the scriptures and The Lord gave me such strength and peace! All of my daughter’s babies were 9 and 10 lbs too, her largest was 10.10 yikes! I’m sure that’s a heritage she would have me not have passed down! That is a funny story about Ryan praying, the nurse was probably preparing to put him on a stretcher! You have a lovely family and a lovely homestead! So happy for you! Darn-I wish we lived a bit closer so we could chat in person-you’d love my daughter and her family too-much like yours! (Sorry, didn’t mean to write a book :)
Oh my 10.10lbs that is a large baby! Thankfully most of my babies have been on the smaller side (I had a 6.11, 6.6 and 7.11), I couldn't imagine anything bigger. What a wonderful testimony of praying and meditating on scripture to get you though it! -Cara
Awww congratulations. I’m so happy for all of you ❤ I had to have 3 c sections. I wasn’t able to give birth on my own. My bones don’t move like they’re supposed to. Two weeks after my first one, I had to have my gall bladder removed. Each one got worse with pain and recovery. My second baby, one of the nurses accidentally gave me pitosin after I already had my baby through C Section 🙄 Needless to say, that was an exhausting painful night to remember but I have three healthy beautiful adult children. ❤🙏🏻
You are a trooper! I had one csection and I couldn’t imagine having had 3. I am really thankful for my VBAC deliveries. I am glad you and your kids were safe through the process though!
It’s fun to have an exciting story to tell your kids when they get older. And yours will each have their own version because of your different type births. So fun! Glad you and baby are doing wonderful. Enjoy every minute.❤️
Congratulations!!!! So happy you and baby are safe and everything went well. Thank you for sharing your birth story, you did an amazing job. I remember making some, let's say primal, noises during labor. It's almost like you're not in control and your body takes over. I have three children as well, they are 8, 10 and 12 now. Just like their different little personalities they like to come into the world with a different story. I hope you can get as much rest as you can, those sleepless nights can be a really hard phase. ~ Kayla
Awe!!! Congratulations Cara!!! 👶🏼 What a sweet share! So glad you and baby are both healthy 🙌🏻 (I have only had natural births -8 times--because I don’t like needles--our last was one big push and out--you did good momma!!!!☺️) God Bless--lacy 🤓

Congrats! You are so amazing! I'm gearing up for having my second baby and this video definitely had my attention start to finish. I also had gestational hypertension, failed induction, emergency C-section with my first. Praying for a v-bac but mostly just a better experience than the first go-round 😅 Congrats again ❤️
Congratulations! I’m so glad you and baby are healthy! With my second birth, I did get the epidural, but I waited too long to get it and it didn’t work. It’s definitely a different experience without the pain meds!
Yay, congratulations on your baby boy!👏🏻🎉 Glad things went quickly and you didn't have time for an epidural.😁 I had my 3 without any and my third one I had the most nausea, also. Idk why I was thinking you had a little girl already. Tfs your story, I have been wondering about you. God bless you all.💖
It was definitely a thing. My doctor looked for me to come in with every storm that last few weeks. The moon is what keeps the ocean in place. Weather, the moon and the water within us play off each other.
Eeeeeeeeks!!! Congratulations!!!!! I love birth stories!!!
Thank you! 😃
@bluebirdhomestead does this natural birth change your thoughts on going intentionally unmedicated for any future children?
@@AHomesteadingHustle No haha. I definitely want an epidural in the future
