I like Anbernic, but they have important areas for improvement. They shoulda taken the time to prepare an OTA update for their Android flagship (RG556). Post-sale support is important man, there's no long term faith in the brand otherwise.
I agree on the rgb lights, It just drains the battery faster and i dont need that. It does not interests me. I turn it off. Maybe if it only works when charging, that would be cool.
I’ve only had one other H700 device but gave it to a friend when I got a MM+ because at the time there was no cfw for the 35xxH. Now that muOS is out I’m just trying to decide btwn the v2 sp or the cube
@@jqweary to be less expensive. For higher spec Android is much better in terms of emulation apps and native games. This exact device is targeted on PICO-8 first of all so H700 is kinda capable to run them, especially considering native PICO-8 linux support (no android native app exist). Ofc GB, GBC, NES, SNES in square resolutions also a good thing on such 1:1 aspect ratio. Anything above these platforms are better to play on 4:3 or 16:9 screens. They could use something like RK3566 CPU on CubeXX for better performance (like on RGB30) but they decided to keep using H700 like on other XX devices.
I think you have the wrong system in the thumbnail. Left stick at the top is the RG Cube, d-pad at the top is the RG Cube XX.
You're right, i didn't even notice that. I thought it was the same housing as the cube. Its a completely different layout.
I just purchased the Anbernic RG40XXV in white and blue colors. Cant wait to add this one to my collection.🎉🎉
Linux has some benefits like port master and linux apps
I'm glad that rp mini supports linux

It looks like a really cool handheld! I wouldn’t mind getting it if it can play like Nintendo 64 or sega dreamcast! 😊

i wonder why they dont make a 5 inch screen handheld console with 4:3 aspect ratio... ?
Happy Birthday!!!
@@Binighted thank you 😊
Does it have the same sticks as the cube or the better ones in the 406v?

V2 sp? It's v4 now 😂
@@JonathanJackson-tn4xweven better 😂
I like anbernic but i dont like the original SP i got because of the clicky buttons, also the 40xxH which has stiff dpad and buttons.
How hard is it to at least get the thumbnail right
This almost like a it made from Nintendo
So it’s Linux…🤔
RG Cube - Android. RG Cube XX - Linux. Choose anything you like.
@@f00god why the lower specs on the Linux device tho?! 🤷🏾♂️🤔
