Thank u for replying, I did a halo around my lotus flower and couldn't do it ur way I had to improvise with color and pearl reducer. However, on my husband's skull eTablet case I only did the art piece lol working on it today hope it turns out half as good as urs :)
Just gorgeous ...did u apply super sheen only on the art piece...I know u said to apply 24hr in advance but didn't know if u applied to the whole seat or just the artwork?
yes i used supper sheen as a blocker on art only so when dyed the art piece stays lighter and the tooling grooves get darker to help it all stand out. its just a case of practise with different amounts of dye to achieve your goal thanks for watching. cheers john
Hi Eric i used 3-4 mm veg tan shoulder. You can buy a starter tool kit from tandy leather this includes a basic swivel knife and various tools. thanks for watching. cheers John.
I'm not sure if saddle wax is the same as Aussie saddle wax but the Aussie wax I use is a beeswax conditioning wax to stop it drying out and keeping it water repellent needs to be applied regularly to keep it in good condition
Hi nidia, I use a rotating wheel punch to punch holes they have the option of different size holes dependent of lace you will be using. thanks for watching, john

I can't get mine as shiny I know u have to buff hard. They say saddle wax dries out the leather, is that true?
