Nice seat John, I'm going attempt to make my own seat within the next four months. I was wondering how much extra/overlap leather you add to the bottom piece for the lace holes?
Really nice. I just would like to ask one question: didn't you use any foil/protection under the leather connection to avoid moisture getting through to the foam?
im really wanting to do this for my bike. i know that it'll take time to learn the trade. leather and the padding i can find but where do you get the pan at?? i found a bunch of kits online but im hoping to find a cheaper route about it. poor retired vet just trying to get by ya know lol great videos. you definitely got a sub from me
Hi Daniel I get my pans made from a local fabricator I took a paper pattern to him with bolt positions and he made me a few they cost me £20 each which I think is a fair price. Maybe you could do the same. Thanks for watching. Cheers John

greggoryus hi no I use a closed cell foam perfect for work like this as it won’t break down like other foams do.
Thanks for watching John
