So you can't always tell a Canadian by eh. Unless you listen to them talk sometimes for months before you hear an eh. Mostly out West where Greg is and Quebec, Montreal, Nova Scotia, Cape Breton, NewFoundland is typical for them to use the word "eh" quite often out of habit.

And Greg was really happy when he got those fish using his trap. And Zach shows a very good personality/attitude there ❤

This was hilarious listening and watching the computer text think it is banshee warning cries and all the others it interpreted it to be by the sounds lol. That was so awesome. Funny as all heck. I knew the sounds from watching Zack's recording of it, but to see a computer interpret it on Gregs camera sound picking it up and trying to decipher it. I so enjoyed this content as always! I hope you guys do this again and others as well with you all separate or together.
Seems to me that there are a lot of "survival" experts out there. If I had to be stuck in the woods, I'd rather be with him than some of those super famous SAS, SEAL types. Grizzly spotting ... finally. I agree with Greg ... you don't really want to see a Grizzly that close like Zach wishes and describes .... but it was funny to listen them discussing it.

He'd make short work of whatever food is on the ground...gopher stew, smoked fish, etc...then move on to other easier pickings. But once they figure out that there is food available in camp, the bear will return and look for more.

I live 8n alaska i seen 20 bears last summer .i ve lived in the same woods with them .ive never seen a griz climb a tree but i have seen black.now you can google all you want .ive been there for years .
I know being alone, the bear seems exciting, i would rather have him buzz off then get excited about having him stop by for dinner..lol...hope yall are safe..
I've wanted to do this exact challenge with a couple of my childhood friends. When we were young from sun up til sun down we lived outside. I wanna get back to that feeling. There's something about building things with your hands from nature and surviving off of the bare essentials. I'm on day 21 and 22, this series of videos is great. I'd prefer to watch you and zach more than any show on TV right now. I know doing it for TV would change everything but you two should consider a show along these lines. Thanks for showing everything you're doing. I don't think I'm going to get a month but I'm planning a full week either this summer or next. Your positive attitude and knowledge are very helpful. Have a good one, hope you get to do this as often as you can. I'm looking forward to the bloopers and blueberry pie videos next!
Just to add something that might help you next time. If you take a few small sticks and sharpen each end you spread the fish open and use them to kind of hold the fish open. It also makes them stand up. You can make a spit for over the fire and actually slide the fish right on it. I use 3 or 4 small sticks. Just depends on how well your sticks are holding. Definitely needs to go through the skin on each side. Its definitely a little bit of extra work but you can use this trick with most small game. Hopefully I explained that well enough, lol.
How you kept a straight face and could keep talking with him hollering in the background is pure professionalism! I love your videos, keep up the good work!

The fish was salty because it was in the salt brine - it did not have to do anything with the fish itself (regardless of who caught it)
