Hard non layer rocks like granite that have not been exposed to decades or centuries of water in a river or lake then they are safe. These rocks are wet from rain not submersion and would be fine.

There is a joy in camping in crappy weather ... i just took my kids out on a rainy weekend camping trip and they loved it!!! You have to get wet and miserable in order to really appreciate warm dry clothes! Keep it up Mate!!
