How wild is it that, just between these five seasons, you've literally tried 75 different foundations? That's so fucking cool and I'm going to have a mom moment and just say that I'm so damn proud of you. That's such an unfathomable amount of effort and it's nothing short of inspiring

I just have to give you so much credit right now. I will always appreciate and admire the amount of effort put into your videos and the description. I use this foundation. One trick i’ve learned is to set it with powder as my last step. I do this with all dewy foundations. I find that if i set it too soon (while it’s still quite tacky) it doesnt last as long, it looks more makeup-y, and i see a lot more texture. If I wait to set, it’s darn near flawless all day long. In fact, i feel it looks better throughout the day.
hannah, i will just usually go ahead and do the rest of my makeup. Typically 15-20mins maybe. My blush and bronzer will still go on top fine. And then i just super lightly set at the very end and also use a setting spray.

Make-Up Addiction I hear you. The struggles are real! I love L’Oreal true match when I want a foundation that matches, me perfectly. It lasts really well. I have dry combo skin. And it’s my go to when I have to be outside and the sun shows your true color. I find the 1 lightest shade to be a perfect neutral. And the second shade I can use during the summer mixed with the first. I have high end foundation I do not use over this foundation. Being pale is so difficult to find those shade that don’t look pink orange or yellow peanut-butter color on your skin. I swear it’s the best neutral shade of drug store foundation out there!
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate how you’ve used your platform. I was born and raised in Seattle and spent a good chunk of my childhood homeless until I was eventually picked up by police and put into foster care. 20 years later and I don’t think I will ever not care about the homeless. I can’t stand how so many people seem to lack empathy or sympathy for the less fortunate. I still have family riddled with these conditions. Thank you so much for caring enough to make a difference.
The RT sponge is definitely different. I can’t use it anymore...I love the eco tools green sponge, flower beauty purple sponge and the L’Oréal pink sponge.

I'm in the hospital right now fighting sepsis again, I commented a few weeks ago saying I had it. Well the antibiotics didn't get it all and I'm inpatient again and not doing so well.. and of course I'm watching your videos to lift my spirits and to try keep my mind off of being in so much pain. Thank you for being your amazing self. Hopefully things start looking up for me. I have to have a procedure after I haven't had a fever for at least 2-3 days and that my labs come back with no infection in my blood stream. Your super chill vibe takes my mind off of what's going on with me in the hospital. So thank you for working your ass of for your viewers. I don’t see mine lasting either that long. It already has a few small tears in it after washing it a couple times. I won’t be buying the RT ones anymore. Especially since they just eat up my foundation and takes coverage away. I hope they go back to the way they used to make them 😞But I really love the EcoTools sponge it’s my current favorite. I’ve heard good things about the Flower beauty one and the new Sonia K ones at Target so I’ll be trying those.
I feel like it’s firmer? Idk I don’t wear makeup too much since I got my last sponge since I’m on maternity leave, but I swear the first time I got it wet it was almost soapy and never got as soft.
Jessica S the Flower beauty sponge is really good! I got it a few weeks ago and I love it! I definitely prefer it over the RT . I recommend picking one up!
I am an actress and will try this foundation to see if it gives me the same great coverage. I loved the shade as well. When filming you sometimes have to go with a darker shade or you look very pale, but will let you know how it works! Keep up the great work! You are adorable 🙂

For some reason, this is still my holy grail. I have tried maybe 10 different foundations since I got this the first time and I always come back to it. My skin loves it, it looks natural on as well. I do set it as I do all foundations and it last through 12 hour shifts. I'm glad it's getting some love again. 💚

44GlenCoCo My thoughts exactly! My skin is super-pale (we're talking John Maclean pale here) and cool-toned and the cool shades start at 3! I swear, I have to use so much white mixer to make my shade! I love how it feels on my skin, though. Maybe since L'ORÉAL are adding new shades to the regular True Match line, they'll do the same for Lumi.
centrechic Same here! I'm John Maclean pale as well... I do have a warmtone though which is so difficult because most brands think warm tone mean tan OR straight up orange lol what a nightmare... Most super pale shades are literally so pink... It's difficult. I make it work though!
Another Pale Princess here! L'Oreal's True Match shade system is rather odd. The neutral (N) shades are defined as being for people with peach and *olive* undertones! I didn't know this until yesterday. I was wondering why the N shades were oxidizing into either an orange-yellow or orange tone on me. I'm going to have to mix in some cool (C) foundation to get a good match, I guess.The bright side is that people who have olive complexions (like my sister) will find a color match. /shrugs shoulders/ ~Anastacia in Cleveland
When I started accutane my face was so oily and I felt like absolutely no drugstore foundation liked my skin but now that my skin is dry the makeup that didn't work for me, works SOOO good now and a lot of people compliment me on how my makeup looks good, which never happened before. It still blows my mind. I love it
I bought the real techniques sponge yesterday and I was like WTF.....I have been using this sponge for a couple years now religiously. Something has DEF changed. So bizarre that they said it hasn’t lol I googled it and everything 😂 glad I am not going crazy!

You're skin is looking so much better in terms of redness recently! I'm so happy for you that accutane worked. I was on it for 2 years but 6-12 months of stopping it my acne came back . I haven't wanted to go back on it just due to the side effects I experienced (chronic back pain and headaches, weird swelling of fluid in my legs twice) but your skin is reacting so well to it and I'm so happy for you :) All the best!
I love this foundation! Each time I finish a bottle of foundation I try something new and depending on where I am financially determines whether I do drugstore or department store, Sephora, etc. I just love the look of it and being 54 it doesn’t settle in my lines and it’s not heavy and cakey. Love this for my skin and have turned a bunch of people onto this. I don’t think you can go wrong with this unless you like a really matte finish, but then I always think you could put a matte powder over it.
I really like that foundation. I'm 54 and wrinkly and it wears well on me. I'm so excited for you with how amazing your skin is looking. Accutane changed my world for the better too.

I really appreciate that you do so many different looks! Others seem to be stuck in a color and look rut. It’s boring and predictable and the cosmetics companies are putting out the same colors over and over again so it’s great to find a channel like yours with interesting and creative content. I know this may sound crazy but I like this foundation because it makes me feel and look oily at the end of the day! As someone with really dry skin, I've never ever experienced that issue. This foundation made me finally understand what its like on the other side. Its nice coming home to see a little shine rather than looking like the Sahara Desert.
I have this foundation it was my favorite until I discovered Maybelline Fit me Dewy. I'm very pale i have W 1-2 light soft Ivory it doesn't oxidize on me the shade is perfect. Thanks now I will try this out again tomorrow as I have not used it in a long time. I'm curious to see if I still like it now.

I feel like the sponge is a little different. And mine ripped seriously SO FAST. So did my eco one (the teal one) they’re both so soft but I was so sad they both had tears in them within a week. 😔
Stephanie Maugeri the pink AOA spinges from shop miss a are better. I order 10 at a time. My RT are tearing more frequently and I am not hard on them at all. They've changed.

This foundation was my HOLY GRAIL about 4-5 years ago. I’ve never gotten a new one since and all I remember I loved the way it perfectly matched me and how I looked so flawless. I’m totally gunna purchase it again and see if I like it (again ) 😝
I'm not Taylor, but I am a human with CRAZY dry skin, I get eczema patches on my face real bad if I don't moisturize religiously. Tarte rainforest is my holy grail foundation formula. It's only a light/medium coverage but the finish is gorgeous and comfortable to wear, meaning I don't feel like it's sucking the life out of my skin. It's not the longest lasting foundation, but it'll only show sign of wear and tear after 6/7 hours. Unfortunately, I'm searching for a new foundation cause #shapetapegate but if you wanted an opinion on how it performs on super dry skin, there's my 2 cents 😊💕🌯
This is my fav drug store foundation!!! I've also noticed that it oxidizes a lot but i really love the finish. I wear this when I'm going super plain faced usually, I'm so glad you included it. I wish 15 days of foundation could go on forever
This foundation is the only drugstore foundation that works for my ultra dry skin. I use the la girl luminous white mixer to get it to match my skin and it looks so beautiful!
The fact you don't have like a million plus subscribers is surprising, you do this while some people like like 15 million subscribers don't give a crap about other people and you raise money to help people, you'll always be an amazing youtuber and person. You'll always be one of my absolute favorite UA-camrs!

I just tried this for the first time this year when winter started because my skin actually changed from oily to dry for the 1st time ever so I have been trying luminous foundations. I love this one specially with the lumi glowtion under it. It looks gorgeous on my skin

I have my skin is pretty oily, but I love this foundation so much. I usually mix it with my more matte, long wearing foundations that tend to look kind of drying to give them some life. It makes my skin look so healthy
I have super dry skin so I figured this would be perfect for me. But every time I use this it breaks me out and I am someone who never gets breakouts, which is sad because initially it is beautiful!
I had the same problem with the Lumi foundation! I used to use it on a daily basis, but as my skin got more dry the foundation would start to break down and emphasize texture throughout the day. I think I prefer this foundation on my oily skin more than my dry skin!
I recently got that foundation and I really like it. I've been enjoying more luminous foundations with lighter coverage and this was the perfect combo.

This is my holy grail foundation! I have acne prone skin and it’s absolutely beautiful. If I want it to last all day, the best thing is to mix it with a little bit of L’Oréal pro matte, and it’s AMAZING

My favorite foundation 👏👏 I found that applying a loose powder like Coty airspun powder or even pressed powder with a damp sponge by pressing it into the skin to set it (and using a good setting spray) makes it last a good 10 to 12 hours with no creasing or transferring. I do tend to apply it lightly around my mouth or it does look heavy.

I feel like it’s firmer? Idk I don’t wear makeup too much since I got my last sponge since I’m on maternity leave, but I swear the first time I got it wet it was almost soapy and never got as soft.
Jessica S the Flower beauty sponge is really good! I got it a few weeks ago and I love it! I definitely prefer it over the RT . I recommend picking one up!

I am an actress and will try this foundation to see if it gives me the same great coverage. I loved the shade as well. When filming you sometimes have to go with a darker shade or you look very pale, but will let you know how it works! Keep up the great work! You are adorable 🙂

For some reason, this is still my holy grail. I have tried maybe 10 different foundations since I got this the first time and I always come back to it. My skin loves it, it looks natural on as well. I do set it as I do all foundations and it last through 12 hour shifts. I'm glad it's getting some love again. 💚
I've always wanted to know your thoughts on this foundation! If it came light enough and didn't oxidize like 7 shades, it's be one of my drugstore favourites lol My dry skin loves it!

44GlenCoCo My thoughts exactly! My skin is super-pale (we're talking John Maclean pale here) and cool-toned and the cool shades start at 3! I swear, I have to use so much white mixer to make my shade! I love how it feels on my skin, though. Maybe since L'ORÉAL are adding new shades to the regular True Match line, they'll do the same for Lumi.
centrechic Same here! I'm John Maclean pale as well... I do have a warmtone though which is so difficult because most brands think warm tone mean tan OR straight up orange lol what a nightmare... Most super pale shades are literally so pink... It's difficult. I make it work though!

Another Pale Princess here! L'Oreal's True Match shade system is rather odd. The neutral (N) shades are defined as being for people with peach and *olive* undertones! I didn't know this until yesterday. I was wondering why the N shades were oxidizing into either an orange-yellow or orange tone on me. I'm going to have to mix in some cool (C) foundation to get a good match, I guess.The bright side is that people who have olive complexions (like my sister) will find a color match. /shrugs shoulders/ ~Anastacia in Cleveland
When I started accutane my face was so oily and I felt like absolutely no drugstore foundation liked my skin but now that my skin is dry the makeup that didn't work for me, works SOOO good now and a lot of people compliment me on how my makeup looks good, which never happened before. It still blows my mind. I love it
I bought the real techniques sponge yesterday and I was like WTF.....I have been using this sponge for a couple years now religiously. Something has DEF changed. So bizarre that they said it hasn’t lol I googled it and everything 😂 glad I am not going crazy!

You're skin is looking so much better in terms of redness recently! I'm so happy for you that accutane worked. I was on it for 2 years but 6-12 months of stopping it my acne came back . I haven't wanted to go back on it just due to the side effects I experienced (chronic back pain and headaches, weird swelling of fluid in my legs twice) but your skin is reacting so well to it and I'm so happy for you :) All the best!

I love this foundation! Each time I finish a bottle of foundation I try something new and depending on where I am financially determines whether I do drugstore or department store, Sephora, etc. I just love the look of it and being 54 it doesn’t settle in my lines and it’s not heavy and cakey. Love this for my skin and have turned a bunch of people onto this. I don’t think you can go wrong with this unless you like a really matte finish, but then I always think you could put a matte powder over it.
I actually just purchased this. I love it. I don't notice it oxidizing on me. I am pale and i use shade porcelain W1-2

I really appreciate that you do so many different looks! Others seem to be stuck in a color and look rut. I know this may sound crazy but I like this foundation because it makes me feel and look oily at the end of the day! As someone with really dry skin, I've never ever experienced that issue. This foundation made me finally understand what its like on the other side. Its nice coming home to see a little shine rather than looking like the Sahara Desert.
I have this foundation it was my favorite until I discovered Maybelline Fit me Dewy. I'm very pale i have W 1-2 light soft Ivory it doesn't oxidize on me the shade is perfect. Thanks now I will try this out again tomorrow as I have not used it in a long time. I'm curious to see if I still like it now.

I feel like the sponge is a little different. And mine ripped seriously SO FAST. So did my eco one (the teal one) they’re both so soft but I was so sad they both had tears in them within a week. 😔

My face is oily with dry patches and this doesn't make me extremely greasy but it gives a nice dewy look.

I'm not Taylor, but I am a human with CRAZY dry skin, I get eczema patches on my face real bad if I don't moisturize religiously. Tarte rainforest is my holy grail foundation formula. It's only a light/medium coverage but the finish is gorgeous and comfortable to wear, meaning I don't feel like it's sucking the life out of my skin. It's not the longest lasting foundation, but it'll only show sign of wear and tear after 6/7 hours. Unfortunately, I'm searching for a new foundation cause #shapetapegate but if you wanted an opinion on how it performs on super dry skin, there's my 2 cents 😊💕🌯

This is my fav drug store foundation!!! I've also noticed that it oxidizes a lot but i really love the finish. I wear this when I'm going super plain faced usually, I'm so glad you included it. I wish 15 days of foundation could go on forever
This foundation is the only drugstore foundation that works for my ultra dry skin. I use the la girl luminous white mixer to get it to match my skin and it looks so beautiful!
The fact you don't have like a million plus subscribers is surprising, you do this while some people like like 15 million subscribers don't give a crap about other people and you raise money to help people, you'll always be an amazing youtuber and person.

I have my skin is pretty oily, but I love this foundation so much. I usually mix it with my more matte, long wearing foundations that tend to look kind of drying to give them some life. It makes my skin look so healthy

I had the same problem with the Lumi foundation! I used to use it on a daily basis, but as my skin got more dry the foundation would start to break down and emphasize texture throughout the day. I think I prefer this foundation on my oily skin more than my dry skin!

This is my holy grail foundation! I have acne prone skin and it’s absolutely beautiful. If I want it to last all day, the best thing is to mix it with a little bit of L’Oréal pro matte, and it’s AMAZING
And to add, I have very dry but acne prone skin!

My favorite foundation 👏👏 I found that applying a loose powder like Coty airspun powder or even pressed powder with a damp sponge by pressing it into the skin to set it (and using a good setting spray) makes it last a good 10 to 12 hours with no creasing or transferring. I do tend to apply it lightly around my mouth or it does look heavy.
