I watch tons of videos and for whatever reason I'm a comment reader. Like, always. And it discourages me to see so much hate and just rampant negativity everywhere, but ESPECIALLY on beauty videos. But not here! I see mostly people just talking to each other about what worked for them and what didn't, people complimenting you, or asking you to review a specific product. It's like a breath of fresh air! Basically I'm just glad I found your channel when I did and I'm glad to be here and super thankful for your reviews!
I love mixing the two fit me foundations together. One of my favorite combos. Shade 110 in matte and poreless of a lot lighter with a more yellow undertone. 110 in smooth and dewy is more neutral and slightly darker.
Dewy + smooth is my all time favourite mixer foundation. I mix it with long wear, full coverage foundations and it stops them from making my skin look cakey and dry
I’ll have to try that! I recently bought the Estée Lauder Double Wear but it’s too matte for me :( I will definitely buy Dewy + Smooth to mix it and see how it works.
YES! I'm so over people using the words "Slay" and "Shook" to describe everything, and makeup brands using them to name products. I get people are still trying to be cute, but everyone overused those words so much that it's starting to get a little annoying.
That’s exactly how I feel about people saying “I’m dead” or “I’m dying”, like how did these terms even start?! Maybe I’m getting old lol I’m 33 and think most of the words people use these days and how they shorten words, are just ridiculous 🤣🤣🤣
People saying “I’m shook” bothers me the most because of the horrible grammar. I know it’s supposed to be slang, but it just sounds so dumb. At least say “I’m shaken”.

This one could be a keeper - it looked really, really good at the last check-in (at least everywhere you had powdered, anyway). With a little more experimenting this could work very well. So we've had a couple of good ones so far - I'm still holding out hope you find another HG!!

I do a mixture of 2:1 the pro glow and the pro matte (I have combo skin) and it’s incredible!! The matte is too dry for me but the pro glow turns me oily by the end of the day but a mix of the two has me glowing and I only need to very lightly set my face so nothing slips around. I don’t get oily and my makeup lasts all day! Highly recommend

I'm on my 8 bottle of this stuff. It's one of my all time favorite foundations this and the CoverGirl healthy Elixar. This Maybelline Dewy just looks so nice on my dry skin and I just love the way illuminess foundations look. The only this it's missing is the pump but it's at a good price.

I’m 36 with retin a dry skin and this is my perfect foundation! Tried so many others, even high end and this one is a winner. For more humid days I mix the dewy with the matte version of this and it’s perfect... and only $5.99 a bottle. I got pumps to fit them on amazon and I’m set

I love how this foundation looks on me, but it definitely slides all over and rubs off really easily. A little bit of Coty Airspun on a damp sponge helps set it. Still looking for a good, not-too-expensive setting spray for this combo. Anyway, love you, Taylor! 🌯🖤

I was so excited to see you review this foundation! I tried it for the first time a few months ago and it’s honestly become a holy grail for me. It just feels so nice on the skin and looks so forgiving. I’m really glad you liked it too. It definitely transfers a bit, but I use a wet sponge to apply either Fit Me loose powder or Makeup Revolution baking powder in Lace and it helps a lot.
I love my Matt and poreless guess it depends on the skin type ! It's great coverage not patchy not cakey doesn't emphasize your pores and lasts usually all day I powder my nose because I have a oily t zone other than that it's perfect

This is by far my favorite foundation. I'm an older woman whose face has gone from oily-combination to dry-combination. I use the Fit Me stick foundation, then just apply the Fit Me Desy + Smooth with my fingers and blend. I use the Fit Me concealer or Clinique Advanced. For travel I use a tiny sample jar (Nordstrom has them everywhere in their cosmetic department) and fill it from the liquid Maybelline glass container. Totally agree with you on the packaging, this foundation needs a pump. I do set with Fit Me or Clinique powder but not at the jawline. A great and thorough review of a really inexpensive foundation. BTW, your skin is gorgeous after Accutane, congratulations.

I have this foundation in 110 and it looks like a dark orange mess on me. People say it is such a pale foundation, but on me it's at least two shades too dark. The struggle is real. (It also makes my skin look dry and emphasizes any dry patches, even though it's supposed to be moisturizing. 🙄)
Ugh it oxidizes sooooo orangey. The shade looks ok on me right out of the bottle but 5 mins later I look like an oompa loompa :( Texture-wise it looks ok on but yes it clings to dryness. I have to make sure to be very exfoliated.

kookoo trix I ran so fast to the website to check, I'm so pale nothing is ever light enough. They don't offer anything lighter than 110 in the dewy and smooth, but they do have 105 and even 102 in the matte! Won't do for me, dry skin with psoriasis, but any other pale people who are oily, hope that helps!
Olivia i wonder if the matte could be mixed with the dewy to give it more moisture and make it smother but if you used the 102 of the matte and 110 of the dewy if you could get a good combo color wise and still look good on you skin.. Possibly..? I know it'd suck to buy both and have to do that everyday but it might still be cheaper then a high end one (especially if you could get it on sale or bogo or something) and if you really liked the look/feel of the dewy then maybe..?

I live in New England and during the summer my skin is a dessert! I have bought every foundation in the drug store and a few higher end and I'm usually disappointed BUT! This dewy and smooth is a HOLY GRAIL. I mix sometimes with CoverGirl vitalist bc that's a lil stiffer but those 2 alone? Together? PERFECTION!! I honestly don't set anything in the winter, not even my under eyes... But I've noticed primer and setting spray make a world of difference. I'm loving Clinique dramatically different moisturizer underneath and the Pur Miracle Mist on top is to die for! Sorry for being so long winded! Xoxo love ya and 15of!
LOVE this foundation! I’m oily/dry combo and it actually lasts all day even with oily skin. I do set it with powder which definitely helps it stay put. It does oxidize so that’s something to keep in mind when choosing a shade

I have this foundation in 110 and it looks like a dark orange mess on me. People say it is such a pale foundation, but on me it's at least two shades too dark. The struggle is real. (It also makes my skin look dry and emphasizes any dry patches, even though it's supposed to be moisturizing. 🙄)
Ugh it oxidizes sooooo orangey. The shade looks ok on me right out of the bottle but 5 mins later I look like an oompa loompa :( Texture-wise it looks ok on but yes it clings to dryness. I have to make sure to be very exfoliated.

Vick Vkusnyatina cane + austin primer is great. Also the MUFE step one blur primer is great. For a cheaper option I'd say the elf blur primer.
The Porefessional is not a great result for me, the Elf one is okay but not as effective.
I really like the urban decay pore primer. Forget the name off the top of my head. It's in a purple tube! I use it on my nose only and Too faced hangover rx primer on the rest that's super dry. 😘

kookoo trix I ran so fast to the website to check, I'm so pale nothing is ever light enough. They don't offer anything lighter than 110 in the dewy and smooth, but they do have 105 and even 102 in the matte! Won't do for me, dry skin with psoriasis, but any other pale people who are oily, hope that helps!
bluesxgirlie hi just wanted to say I'm a pale girl with dry and eczema skin. The bare minerals tinted hydrating gel cream is wonderful for my skin:)
Olivia i wonder if the matte could be mixed with the dewy to give it more moisture and make it smother but if you used the 102 of the matte and 110 of the dewy if you could get a good combo color wise and still look good on you skin.. Possibly..? I know it'd suck to buy both and have to do that everyday but it might still be cheaper then a high end one (especially if you could get it on sale or bogo or something) and if you really liked the look/feel of the dewy then maybe..?
Olivia What is the best way to set that product for you? Love the hydration and skin evening that it offers, but I find that some powders cling to spots strangely with it!
They make 105 in dewy. Stores don't carry it much though

I really like how the foundation looked on your skin. You are definitely right about needing to set it. The first time I used it on my combo skin it looked greasy so I will try it again and set it and see if that helps.

I live in New England and during the summer my skin is a dessert! I have bought every foundation in the drug store and a few higher end and I'm usually disappointed BUT! This dewy and smooth is a HOLY GRAIL. I mix sometimes with CoverGirl vitalist bc that's a lil stiffer but those 2 alone? Together? PERFECTION!! I honestly don't set anything in the winter, not even my under eyes... But I've noticed primer and setting spray make a world of difference. I'm loving Clinique dramatically different moisturizer underneath and the Pur Miracle Mist on top is to die for! Sorry for being so long winded! Xoxo love ya and 15of!

LOVE this foundation! I’m oily/dry combo and it actually lasts all day even with oily skin. I do set it with powder which definitely helps it stay put. It does oxidize so that’s something to keep in mind when choosing a shade
