    I'm glad the Beelink EQ12 made it, as that would be my choice of the group. Nice review. For the money I think one of the units with a Ryzen 5500-5800 provides so much more for not much more, but for much of the way these will be used, the N100 units will be fine.

    Update after having the M8S for over a week now. I'm just using it to stream and surf on my 65" tv with no issues at all. I'm impressed with its performance, size and price. It's obvious that you are not just making quick videos but are actually doing the work and achieving real test results. This was a great video. Keep it up!👍👍👍
    I've got a question for ya. Do you think it is perfectly safe to overclock this thing as you show in your review of this unit (M8S)? I don't want to over heat it. I have not yet made any adjustments and may not need to for my use. Advise please.

    hoping you'll respond to this!! my dad wants a mini pc in the $200 range (or less) for christmas and has tasked me with researching for the best one. it's going to be used for browsing, video streaming, and playing music. pretty basic, no gaming, office stuff. from your videos, i was leaning towards either the Chuwi Larkbox X or the Beelink SER5 5560U. which would you recommend? or is there another that you'd suggest?

    • @Robtech
      @Robtech  6 місяців тому +2

      The Beelink SER5 5560U is currently on special for $224. It's a lot faster and has slightly more memory, but the Chuwi would handle those tasks too. Depends if you want to spend the extra $54. There are other Ryzen 5500U minis around the $200 mark on Amazon, but I haven't tested them, so I can't vouch for their performance. only recommend stuff I've tested.

      @Robtech  6 місяців тому +1

      On that listing, I saw one written 1 star review. If it died within a week, they could just return it. Amazon has a very generous return policy. It also comes with a 1 year warranty and I've had Amazon honor that even if the seller didn't. Although, the policy may be different in the US compared to Aus. But you could ask customer service if they help honor warranties if you get no response from the seller.

    I loved the video and the information provided,, but I'm honestly not convinced with any these low-end Intel n95/n100. Their main issue is that the price is too close to significantly faster Ryzen 4000/5000 options that are basically an order of magnitude faster in CPU/iGPU than these. Im currently looking at $205 5800H 16/500gb box in AE 11.11 sales.

      $200 for a 5800H with 16/500 seems almost unbelievable. When I go on AE and click on an actual 5800H, it always goes up in price, plus postage & TAX to my country lol. It's great if you can get it for that... total steal. I'm seeing $300 though.

    May I ask is a mini PC better then a desktop PC in terms of say gaming? I would like some advice before I buy a mini PC? I have a very old HP laptop and I’m thinking about getting a mini PC?

    • @Robtech
      @Robtech  4 місяці тому

      No, it's the opposite. Integrated graphics will never be up to par with a graphics card. If you want to game on one, you'll need to check a review for an approximate benchmark of gaming performance. As an example, the N100 plays Grand Theft Auto V which is an old game at 720P around 30 frames per second.

  • @ProDigit80
    @ProDigit80 6 місяців тому +1

    I tested the N200, and just simply wasn't happy with the overall result.
    The igp is missing eus or frequency for 720p or greater gaming.
    The N305 barely scratches the surface with 50% more eus tuned at 50% higher frequency, running 50% faster ram.

  • @MrPir84free
    @MrPir84free 6 місяців тому +3

    The Beelink S12 Pro and EQ12 are not the same thing. One uses DDR4 and the other uses DDR5. I have put 32GB DDR5 in the EQ12 and it's big brother the EQ 12 Pro, which uses the N305 processor. Both seem to work without issues. DDR5 is going to have a slight performance boost due to using DDR5. The $10 to $20 difference in price, in my book, does not make it worth buying the S12 Pro over the EQ 12. If one had DDR4 SoDimm's hanging around, it might make it worthwhile, but not really for $10. The other thing the EQ12 has over the S12 is the Dual 2.5G network interfaces. More than worth the $20.
    I did purchase a Beelink S12 Pro, but someone at work was without a personal computer, so I sent it to her as a gift, unused. Call it one of those days when I just felt like being nice.
