Thank you so much for this guide!! Without it, I doubt I would've finished it, especially the World of Ruin! Gamers back then were built so different
Thanks to you I’ve platinum the whole Pixel Remaster thanks to your video guides. Seriously you’re awesome! Can’t thank you enough. You earned a sub
Congratulations! That's a big accomplishment! I'm glad the video guides were helpful, and I'm glad I could earn your sub! Thank you for the support!
I would like to thank you for all the pixel remaster guides, they've been a huge help to get my platinums on the series. Looking forward to your next projects/guides
Thanks a bunch dude. I remember beating this game when I was 9. I don’t think I could have gotten plat without you
You’re welcome! I’m glad the guide helped!
Amazing series of videos, definitely made the difference in getting the platinum.
Loved the game and story
Thank you so much for the amazing guides! Your FF pixel remasters 1 to 6 were amazing. And ive just completed all of them thanks to you!
Awesome! Which game was your favorite?
@MaskedMatador 3 has always had a special spot in my heart. But I really enjoyed the platnum for 5. That one felt the most memorable this time around.
I'm not sure if you mentioned in a video, which one did you find your favourite?
@@gav5568 They were all pretty special for their own reasons. FF1 was the first Final Fantasy I ever played, so it was great being able to play it in the updated format. FF2 surprised me with how much I enjoyed it given that it's usually considered one of the worst games in the franchise; I appreciated how they tried to be different from FF1, but I think they learned their lessons for what fans like and don't like, and that helped the rest of the games to be more successful. I had never beaten FF3 before as I would always get stuck on the last boss, so it was nice to finally beat that one. The story of FF4 has always been one of my favorites, but it is a pretty serious game. FF5 was just fun because of the humor, and it never took itself too seriously; it was such a pleasure to play that one and not have it feel like a repetitive grind. FF6 is special because it marked my beginning as a UA-cam content creator. It was a great learning experience for me, and I'll always be grateful for that.
@MaskedMatador I did really enjoy getting back to the roots of FF1, and it has been like 20 years since I've played it, so it was a pretty wild experience to go back too. FF2 whilst I know it's gotten alot of hate, but I genuinely really enjoyed it because it felt so different. I liked the specialised weapon system because of how different a take it is, it made it feel really fresh. FF4 is a pretty serious game, I had my ups and down with that one the most I think this time around. And with FF6 I did love how wide they were able to make the cast of playable characters. Having like 14 characters to choose from in an RPG from 1994 is pretty wild, I don't know any other game that's gone and done that. And they gave each of the characters their own space to grow and standout which I think is really awesome.
It's also really awesome to see a creator that's still active with their OG video's! This is honestly the first series of video's I've ever left comments on and it's been a great experience. So thank you.
Thank you so much for you incredibly informative and easy to follow guide. Because of your guides I've not only got the plat for this game, but also got the plat for ff5. Definitely a subscriber now!
Thank you so much for subscribing! I look forward to bring you more great content in the future!
Awesome walk-through!
Thank you very much for your good work, the whole time was mega pleasant to listen to you and according to your plan to enjoy my 2nd run together 😌 thanks to you I now also have this final fantasy my platinum trophy 🏆- infinite thanks goes out to you....
For anybody that isn't getting the Blue Magic achievement to pop, just get into one more random battle afterwards and it should prompt a recheck and pop for you. Seems to be a bug that happens if you learn multiple spells in the same battle and don't end it with exactly 20 spells learned.
Thanks for the amazing guide!
Couldn't have asked for a better walkthrough! I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Btw, your Strago voice is 100% Master Roshi from DBZ haha. Thanks for all the help and looking forward to the next one!
Master Roshi was the inspiration for Strago! I'm so glad someone noticed, and I'm glad you enjoyed the series!

Forgot to re-equip the Alarm Earring, back attack by two Fiend Dragons. Heartless Angel + Southern Cross = RIP
Thank goodness I quick saved in that room 😂
Yeah, those dudes are merciless if they hit you in groups of two. I'm glad you didn't lose any progress!
Thanks i followed your guides for both ff5 and ff6, and they're great! Love and appreciate the work you've done!
Thank you for the guide, very insightful and informative.. Subbed and looking forward to more guides
Awesome, thank you! The guide for Final Fantasy 5 is complete, and FF4's guide is in progress now.
Thank you very much! i enjoyed a lot the way over all these videos, you are awesome! can´t wait for the other FF games :)
I'd like to say thank you for this. I had gone through the game 3 times and was still missing a couple trophies, the legendary treasure hunter and item detector, and was at a loss till I followed your guide here. Thank you very much!!!
You’re welcome! I’m glad it helped you!
Massive thanks for creating this platinum guide! I would love to see you do a similar guide for FF Type 0 HD. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Matador , an excellent walkthrough, I got the plats thanks to you. Will you be playing FF Rebirth ? 👍
Thank you so much. This guide is simply perfect
THANK YOU 🙏
Thank you, I have platinumed both 5 & 6 now for the Pixel Remaster along with 1-4. Don't think I will platinum 7-16 since they are harder (Except maybe 15 and OG 7), but still nice that I did these six. Actually followed another UA-camr for 1-4, but he never did 5 & 6 so your guide is a lifesave. I admit, I used Ultima to cheese it haha, but oh well.
Thank u so much never had to worry about missing anything
You're very welcome! I'm glad it helped. If you're looking for guides for Final Fantasy 4 or 5, I've got those too!
i just wanna say thank you so much for the guide sir. i follow you since FF2 and now 6.but for some reason i miss tropht adventurous Wayfarer i dont know why. i never skip your guide... lol
still thank you so much sir, its time to like all you video since FF2 until 6
Can't believe it, I missed the Bit enemy. Looks like a second playthrough is on the cards! Luckily I made a save right before the end of the World of Balance.
amazing walkthrough as usual :D finaly got my last ff pixel remaster platinum
Awesome! Congratulations!
Thanks so much for helping me earn my plat ^^
Congratulations! I’m glad the guide helped!
@@MaskedMatador thank you very much for the guide for V and VI. They were very helpful.
I've enjoyed this walkthrough.🙂
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@@MaskedMatador Thank U.🙂
I have 23 Lores and didn't get the achievement. Shouldn't I be getting it at 20 Lores
I had to load a previous file and then do the fight against Dark Force one more time and I got it. It must have bugged.
thanks man !!!!!!
Happy to help!
thanks Pal 👍🏻.
i Didn't Watch the Video From Final Boss Kefka Onwards But Im Guessing You left Siegfried Bestiary for last which i thought Is Mandatory to beat the game and watch credits to Unlock That Trophy? Good Thing i Read the Bestiary Before Moving On To Kefka Tower it happens i already have(somehow) A Megalixir in my inventory so i bet it immediately.
@Milton94 Yeah, you get a Megalixer in Kefka’s Tower in a chest, so I used that to fight Siegfried after beating the game.
Great series, I have the platinum on every game in the pixel remaster bar this one. Unfortunately I think I've given up on the platinum, I just can't get the master gambler trophy, I can get the first 2 7's consistatnly but can never get the third, even with your echo screen trick. I've even tried auto battling throughout the whole game with Setzer with no luck, I must have cast jokers death on my party 100 times, if not more. Its incredibly demoralising, apart from this ff6 is probably my favourite ff
Thanks! This one is a big pain, and you can still be proud of getting everything else and all the skill that goes into that. The Master Gambler trophy is based too much on luck instead of skill, so no one can fault you on that. Thank you for watching the series and for your support of the channel. I appreciate you!
@@MaskedMatador I can always go back one day and get it, looking forward to your other content! Probably gunna play sea of stars next
@samgreen8902 I highly recommend it! I don’t think anything is missable, so there’s nothing to worry about there!
i followed this guide step by step but i miss the number 292 on the bestiary, the bit monster :/ any idea if there's any way to find it again, maybe in the coliseum? It says it's a monster spawned by the air force but I don't have it registered, i only need it to 100% the bestiary
No, Bit only spawns during the Air Force boss after you kill the Laser Gun. I did mention that during the boss fight about how to get it to spawn. Sorry you missed it. Do you have an old save to go back to? The bestiary is saved differently from the game file, so you can go back to get that bestiary entry without having to replay everything else.
@@MaskedMatador yeah i didn't think the bestiary was saved from the game files. Fortunately i had a save just before the floating continent, i had that trophy in 10 minutes. Thank you for all the work!
@@_edo2599 Yay! Congrats!
What's the best way to get the legendary warrior achievement?
It should come naturally while you play through the game and hunt down the bestiary entries. If you still need kills to get to the 2000 required kills, try to find a spot the has larger groups of weaker enemies to farm for a bit. If you are toward the end of the game, you can use higher level spells to kill them quickly and having the right accessories like the Celestriad can save on MP.
@@MaskedMatador I’ve completed the game and got all achievements apart from these two. I thought it would happen organically but I’ve sunk over 45 hours into this game and I don’t even have the 1,000 one 😧 I just wondered if there’s a good farming spot for doing this efficiently.
Sadly even though I hit the Switch at 49:10 when jumping down with celes. The door for Team two with strega does not appear??? help
Go back to the 46 minute mark. You need Celes to head south from the main path and go outside first to hit a switch to open the other paths. It’s really easy to miss that the pathway north AND south changes when you step on the middle switch.
Even though you jumped down, you can get back there.
Kefka is hitting my party for 8k hp. Celes is just below that for me sigh. I’ll try again tonight lol
What level are your characters? It might be worth hanging out in the Dinosaur Forest for an hour to beef up your characters a bit if they are underleveled.
@@MaskedMatador Celes is level 76. Everyone else is in the mid to high 50s. Time to grind!
Just beat the game. Now to get the master gambler trophy which I have a save for. Thanks for all of the videos. Looking forward to your videos on FF5!
the game is easily beatable at lvs over 65 just spam quick per party member fire8x 9999 Ultima's and all 4 final bosses die in 1 turn.
Thx man but the 777 was a pain in the a....
I've hit a snag right at the start, I don't get the red exclamation mark at the door of the old mans house and he just mentions the cursed shield, any idea what I missed?
I covered getting the cursed shield in a previous part, but this is just a recap. Check your inventory as you probably already have the cursed shield.
Oh damn, I thought it was another one, my mistake. Just got to get the gambler trophy and then the platinum. Great guide man 👍
How did you beat siegfried in the stadium?
It’s shown at the very end of the video. Start at 1:40:40.
@MaskedMatador Thank you. Also your guides for FF1-6 are fantastic!
I just beated it. Thank you for your phenomenal guides!
