This channel shows how i fix and repair my family and friends cars. I show mostly import cars like Honda's and Toyota's. But I also show repairs on Domestic and European cars.
I always love the part where you clean up after working
thank you for watching brother
30k seems like very short mileage to be changing out Iridium plugs, which I understood to be 100k plugs, while Platinum is a 60k interval.
Hey, thanks for showing how to tighten without torch wrench!! First time viewer, but I'll definitely be back after changing plugs on my first-gen Sequoia 245,500+ miles & still runs like a dream!!!
I have a sequoia SR5 2004 with 87K miles im going to replace spark plugs for the first time thanks for the video 🙏
You are a wonderful person and I love watching your videos and learning a lot from them. Thank you very, very, very much❤❤❤
Love the videos Angel, keep them coming. But cringed when u checked the gap on the new plugs. The iridium coating is everything and gets damaged by checking.
thank you Mehrdad. Ok will do. thanks for telling me.
This is a Fantastic channel this guy is a excellent mechanic I really enjoy the videos!!!!!!
Thank you very much Mike! Glad you enjoyed watching the vids.
Need daily videos brothah!!
Checherrrryyy!!
Anti seize will help that rough metal noise when removing and replacing the plugs, I always use anti seize
Well done, I wish you luck and lasting success
I used to have the old spark plug socket, with rubber/foam in it. Then I bought one like you have with a magnet in it and it's so much better.
it is much better with the magnet. thanks for watching Pantherman!!
Thanks FixItAngel for making them, the foam in my old one wore out and started dropping them.
Nice work Angel. I have an 01 Tundra with the 4.7. They run forever, but suck the gas. I use just a wisp of anti seize on the plugs. Pretty easy job considering it is a V8. Keep the videos coming!
Now if it was a transverse engine (mostly on FWD), I'd be sweating when attempting the ones crammed against the firewall... These longitude engines are definitely easier to access
Thank you Jeff, I do use a lil' ant-seize on plugs on my other videos but not this time. i just want to see next time i replace the plugs. The used plugs didn't have any. He had it done at the dealership so i didn't add it. thanks for watching
@@ricebike I just did a 2015 Odyssey. Not as bad as I thought.
Welcome back angel. Hello from puerto Rico
thank you Luis for watching
Great use of box fan!
Much longer with pedstal fan.
Greetings from San Diego bro! That little step is a must for those big trucks! Making you feel like 7’3” 😂 yup gotta use that pocket screw driver for those stubborn wire terminal clips. Damn lots of room on that right bank. 🤙🏽
Hello brother San Diego!! Yes it does. and makes it so much easier since i'm a shorty. i hate those terminals. LOL
hello angel, you don't know how happy I am when I see that you post a video. I'm waiting for the afternoon coffee to enjoy you. I consider you a soulmate. George from Corinth. Be strong, Take care.
Hello George, Thank you for watching and a loyal fan. take care brother
If only changing the starter were as easy as a plug change on the UZ engines

Angel is back great to see you sir. Great video.
thank you brother. Happy to be back
Was trying to help a friend with his NX300 seatbelt buckle and was linked also to this video haha what a pleasant surprise. What do you do if your 10mm coilpack bolts are crusty crumbly due to corrosion? Do you go with a smaller socket and go very carefully? Asking for my own LX470 here in rust belt NJ land. Thanks bruddah. Salamat po
Nice simple job. Brake fluid looks dirty :)
thank you Bradley. yes it is dirty
Great job angel keep up the good work God bless
thank you Salvador and god bless you
Well done, thanks bro!

Hey Angel thank for all your videos love all your step by steps very helpful but l have a problem with my 01 Honda Accord. I've changed all coils and spark plugs but still continue to have a Random misfire code coming up what can continue to be the problem please help am out of ideas.
That sequoia is clean!
I love the step tool
SMOOTH as a baby's bottom! 😂🤣🤓 Nicely done.👍🇺🇸
Thanks Rice!!
Another job well done Angel 🤙🏾
thank you Darwin
Nice, I have the same car and color. Good timing. Those sparks were really worned. Those plugs are cheaper at the dealer. Damn Autozone markups.
At least they're original... I've recently was reminded about fake plugs on eBay and Amazon lately.
Someone bought a set 5 years ago when people were still unaware about it and pulled out the plugs just to check & they were worn like these ones
ya my friend bought them. that's what he wanted
I always do it myself, never knowing that it cost 300 to change the spark plugs 😮
Salut l'ami de retour pour de nouvelles aventures mécaniques cool continue comme ça fort
Hey Angel when are you going to change the spark plugs of my Toyota Highlander 17 v6 ? Please ??
email me brother. angel@fixitangel.com
My 03 Tundra service manual says use a double grounded spark plug contradicting what my owners manual says (Use Denso K20R-U or NGK BKR6EYA) neither of which are double grounded. Can anyone explain!
Can a bad spark plug cause a misfire in one of the cylinders my sequoia just started to run funny and I wasn’t like that the night before
if you luiking for the tire stand step they selet in amazon store
yes i have links on my description
Same size like my rollaways 2005

Very rare to see metal/aluminum valve covers ~ in newer vehicles(2005+) like my family's Mazda Acura Nissan, more stuff under the hood are made of plastic parts 😢

ok brp i will try.

So what's the consensus, anti seize or not for spark plug threads? I think NGK says no since they use a coating on the threads already?
But that was sketchy when Angel was tightening the first spark plug in there, I was wincing when I heard that metal to metal squeaks, LoL
Hi Earl, Well, on my other videos i always apply anti-seize. even on the NGK's. I haven't had any problems. So in this vehicle. I didn't add any just because the last time plugs was replaced at the dealership in California. They didn't add any so I didn't add any. We'll see with the next plug replacement on how bad the squeaks is LOL
thanks for the comment
How long is the 5/8 socket? 6 or 10 inches?
Thank you 🤙
thank you for watching
Save $300, pay $400 for Angel’s quality work and a fancy mechanic stand used on your tire. 😂
lol thanks Dean for the comment. It made me laugh
Good work
thank you Chotuu
Good job 👏
thank you Michael for watching
Angel, what vehicle is most difficult to replace plugs?
Ford Expeditions!!
Aren't Iridium spark plugs supposed to last 100,000 miles? You said to replace at 30,000. Wouldn't 50,000 be acceptable? My Toyota is at 40,000, and runs like new!
You're correct they last longer than a standard copper spark plug.
I also noticed no anti seize on the threads.. created a new comment on that since some drivers will go 7 plus years and won't drive 100,000 miles in that timeframe.
But those gaps on the old or probably original spark plugs was pretty big/worn on the 2004 model Angel was working on. I don't think the owner has changed them at all or got ripped off from a shop if that's a 30,000 or 40,000 mile plug.
But, then, Amazon or eBay are selling fake plugs that last a short time span... Yikes
Plus, your vehicle has an ECU ECM that can start to detect mis-fires when plugs or coils start to wear out.
Valve cover gasket leak or spark plug tube seal leaks can also develop and may flood the tubes with oil, creating mis fires as well.
yea you are right Orin. that's awesome!!
thank you again for your post. your experience is much appreciated
Angel have you ever repace a ignition lock cyclelnder? On a 03 pilot?
sorry i haven't
Oh ok thanks im just curious
Hola Angel 🤙
Hello Ben!! thank you for watching
Great video bro
thank you Danny for watching
Hey brother, Question. Is it true that you need to put higher viscosity oil if your car has over 100k miles? For example, a Toyota that specify a 5w-30 and since it has 150k you need to put 10w-40? Thanks
Bro didn't answer your question I'm wondering the same thing?
What's the brand on the impact you're using
hi Humberto, it's Bluepoint. I don't think Snap-on doesn't make them anymore
Bro if you know the spark plug gaps on 2003 toyota Tacoma 2.4l I can’t seems to find.
Took me less than a minute for Google search,
"2003 Toyota Tacoma equipped with 2.7L L4 Gas DOHC, 2.4L L4 Gas DOHC Standard Spark Plug Gap 0.044 "
But if going with iridium, don't want to adjust them since damage to the special coating will occur, then it's not a 100,000 plug change anymore
Sorry i was busy. But thanks for watching
thanks for posting Earl
When do you replace the coils?
Hi Mel!! When it goes bad. You will know when you engine is misfiring. they are very costly but if you want to do preventative maintenance. I say between 150K-200K miles. Genuine Toyota coil packs lasts long.
@@FixItAngel TY for replying. Is your daughter still in AF reserves? I'm ret AF.
hey brother.. greetings... how much does it cost to change an air conditioning compressor here in the usa just for labor
You can look it up; just need year make model of the vehicle
wassup brother, for this Sequoia. it takes 2-3 hours to replace. dealership would charge $300-$400 for labor.
@@FixItAngel oops, I don't know if he has a Toyota, so that's why I asked about his vehicle (maybe a Honda?)
@@FixItAngel Thank you very much... I hope you and your family are very well. Excellent your videos keep sharing what you do.

Have a toyota matrix 2006 automatic when I put it in Reverse gear slipping
maybe there is restriction of fluid in the valve body. It would have to be opened up. Have you done a trans flush??
Thank it was the transmission oil was black ... thank you ..
First! I'll have my T-shirt and stickers now lol
hi Cody, email me your mailing address. what is your t-shirt size? Going to do this only once for a fan since you caught my attention. LOL angel@fixitangel.com
Bueno video, saludo de Francia.
thank you for watching Frederic
Really bro? You honestly don’t even need the engine to cool down on that motor because your hand dosent get pinched anywhere when moving plugs on that engine. Id like to see you do a fast video on a 2gr engine or a 5.7. That is something worth watching.
here Julian. and I didn't have to do it as a fast video. ua-cam.com/video/0kQIkzvs9NY/v-deo.html
And I prefer replacing plugs with the engine cold. If you prefer to do it when it's hot, then that is what you do. Everyone works on cars their own way. Can you respect that?
👍👍👍

High dollar plugs
yes they are. thanks for watching
OEM quality for 100,000 mile plugs... Someone said the AutoZone price is more expensive than the dealer, but IDK
@@ricebike 10-4, im not being critical. In fact if I had the extra coin I would have put that kind in last time.
@@PonziZombieKiller mee too, but I learned to not buy it from eBay or Amazon... Unless, they're a reputable OEM seller on the site. Saw soo many fake plugs on there
How many mile and if it for sale how much
over 100K. I will ask my friend if he selling it.
