Deonta B That's good. Unlike assholes like Michael Jordan. Now he (Jordan) was rude and disrespectful as hell nothing like how you see him in the commercials or space jam. He was a true uptight jackass
lol...that's why larry bird had back problems because of dominique wilkins....he hit that floor hard from that dunk...so much power with that finesse, flair and style.
Ive come back to this same mixtape for a decade now. Still the best one ive ever seen for such an incredible player. For the last year i thought it was taken down. Maybe i just couldve find it? Either way, so happy to be watching it before a game again
That up and under move at 1:55 is so much more representative of how good of a player he was. He was a beast above the rim, way before his time. But he was a damn good basketball player, and most people forget that because of the highlights. As an old ATL dude, I'd love to see someone make a human highlight film of all of his amazing moves that he made to get himself a jump shot. He wasn't just a dunker. He was a damn good player and it's sort of a shame that more people don't get to see that.
one of my favorite players...the best game dunker of all times, unfortunately he never had great teamates, his best teamate was kevin wills,so he didn't have the chance to win a ring...he led hawks to 6 or 7 games vs great teams like 80's celtics-pistons and 90's bulls-knicks...he dominate the game and not only with dunks,he had great moves, post game and middle range shot!
I swear man, Dominique Wilkins is the most underrated player in NBA history. He was just as good as Jordan but he never got all the publicity that Jordan got, and he was on a mediocre team & didn't have coach like Phil Jackson like Jordan did that's why a lot of people don't really know about him today & it's sad. This guy never got any credit for what he did in his career, sure, he never won a championship but he carried the Hawks for many years & averaged 30 PPG in his career & didn't have at least one player to help him out like Jordan did (Scottie Pippen) Michael Jordan is the best NBA player ever but he was way too overrated & was always in the spotlight. It's messed up that Dominique doesn't get any credit. LIKE THIS COMMENT IF YOU AGREE!
stupid ass comment... Nique was great superstar but never as close as MJ, just because you're on a Nique video doesn't mean you need to overeact and start saying dumb shit. Nique as a player on on the level of Melo, he was just a tiny bit better than melo and is a top 10 Small forward of all time, but what you just said is too false. Can't believe 25 people liked that crap... he averaged 25 for his career not 30, was never a great shooter, never averaged more than 4 assists and was a mediocre defender. I like Nique as well but let's cut the overreaction bs please. ''He was just as good as Jordan'' what the in the blue fuck you're smoking?????!!!!!!!!!
Luckymag 2016 if you've seen the 93 first round, you'll be surprised how Nique stood up to Jordan, and can make the argument that in their only playoff match up offensively Nique outperformed Jordan. He really just didn't have the right system or coach to make a Hawks Bulls rivalry. Even in their regular season matchups one barely outshined the other.
Bulls fan here. Even though Bulls fans were spoiled in the 90's by MJ and 6 rings, Wilkins was still one of my favorite players to watch growing up in the late 80's and early 90's. Extremely underrated and was just simply fun to watch every time he played. The power and athleticism he played was a sight to see. After watching this mix tape, can the Hawks bring back those retro 80's jersey's? Does anyone else prefer those to the ones they're wearing now?
Of course 'nique's dunks are among the best of all time, but that spin move at 3:33 is just unbelievably SICK, man! I bet dude D-ing him up was like "WTF!!!!!!!!!"
GREAT Video of The HUMAN HIGHLIGHT FILM !!! To Bad Dominique Wilkins , Air Jordan,The Rain Man Shawn Kemp ,Clyde Drexler, Spud Webb ,Dr J , David Thompson , Larry Nance , Terrance Stansberry or Kenny Sky Walker cant be young again to Show the Guys in the DUNK Contest up Today !!! 4 Guys compared to the 8 of yesteryear and the Superstars like NIQUE didnt mind giving US the True Fans a Show like the Superstars of today. He didnt make Top 50 Players Ever List but He is Worthy of Top 21
The best game dunker ever. Vince Carter is best dunk contest dunker but Dominique did these dunks every game and every Hawkss game used to be televised on TBS so you could see him do these dunks on a nightly basis.
Thanks a lot for the response, idk why I got thumbs downed on my last comment, it was genuine. I know about the NBA, and it's history, just not every aspect of it. I dont get how people aren't understanding of that. Anyways, thanks and I'll look up those guys. I know who they are, I just have never seen them play.
Loved Dominique. Had the pleasure of being in Athens ostensibly in law school during the too-much-talent years of the hawks. Moses, Reggie, Dominique, Doc. De rigeur was Popeye's, a big bowl, and watch the Hawks. Sterling on the call.
best highlight compilations on youtube wetagua! i think he was the greatest game dunker ever which i think is far more impressive than dunk contest dunks. A couple things always strike me when i watch 'Nique. First he almost always jumps off 2 feet when he dunks which is far harder than gaining momentum and leaping off one foot. Secondly, although one cannot hear it much here, his dunks just SOUND different than anybody else's. Goddamn they are vicious. he could snap a defender's arm off.
I watch Dominique in my days he can play inside and outside. Atlanta was 1 of the best team just couldn't get by Jordan and bulls. Jordan couldn't stop Dominique and vice versa!!
@Carlenho913 as a celtics fan from the 80's - Dominque was one of the most exciting and explosive players I'd ever watched - I think he was way underrated. I still recall some dunk contest where he way out performed MJ but lost - whatever. He was an awesome player to watch - given the right team he would have done much more.
dominique wilkins and vince carter are two of the most complete dunkers the nba has ever seen! they brought it all to the rim style, power, grace, variety you name it.they have to be the only two guys who literally did dunk contest worthy shit in games on a consistent basis!
I always love his style mr. "GET YOUR FUCKING HAND OF MY WAY OR I BREAKIN IT" ! Surely the beastial dunker of all nba with shaq, kemp and darryl dawkins.
Hawks should have NEVER traded Dominique in 92 for that BUM Danny Manny. That year they had the best record in the east and they beat the Bulls twice b4 that stupid ass trade. It was there year to win a NBA title and they threw it all away with poor management. With Danny Manny the Hawk got put out of the playoff in the 1st round by the Heat.
I still can't believe he wasn't selected one of the greatest 50 players of all-time but he was chosen for the basketball hall of fame and that it's more important.
+Steve Stone Injuries are part of the game. MJ was injured his second year. Between 84 and 90 tell me someone good on the Bulls other than Jordan. Even in the 90's the Bulls did not have the best team. The played without a true center and point guard the whole time.
TheMyth619 Yeah injuries are a part of the game that some players have to deal with more so than others, for instance wilkins dealt with more injuries and more sefious injuries than jordan. Also im not one of the ones saying wilkins was as good as jordan, but he was extremely underrated, and it doesnt matter that jordan didnt have any good players around him early in his career because he didnt win any championships early in his career. He did havd great players around him every year he won a championship, once again I'm not saying wilkins was as good as jordan, but you put scottie pippen and dennis rodman on team with dominique wilkins while tbey were all in their prime they would've won a lot of rings...maybe not 6 but probably 3 at least
Correction on my first comment...jordan only had great players around him for every championship they won. Also correction about rodman, i know rodman was only there for three of them
I don't recall any championship team that didn't have a couple of good players. Nique suffered his injuries due to his playing style and the era he was in. Same thing happen to Grant Hill. Once the rules got soft for todays player Hill was able to extend his career and actually stay healthy. Nique was never a great shooter but he could rebound and dunk on people like no tomorrow. That era had rougher game play. People would challenge you no matter how athletic you were. MJ was more finesse to Nique's power. It a hard call to say Nique would have a championship with Pippen and Rodman. Pippen was a product of playing with MJ in Chicago. Rodman was always Rodman. I honestly don't think the Bulls had the best teams every year. The Orlando Magic with Shaq and Penny, Knicks, Sonics, and Pacers had better all around talent. I don't think that Nique is overrated. He's completely forgotten about. MJ's shadow is over a few great talents that played the 1,2, and 3 spots. Nobody remembers Nique has led the league in scoring. Besides MJ nobody remembers other good shooting guards. Remember Mitch Richmond? It would be great to see Nique play in this era. No hand checking, no aggressive big men camping out down low, 3 second rule to keep people from standing in the key. Nique would have his way.
Most underrated basketball player ever
With the rule now he would probably dunk like 10 times a game lol the paint is always open
Deonta B agree
***** all at king croass
Him or Moses Malone
Yup him George Gervin and Mose Malone
Best dunker in the entire NBA History of dunkers..........All hands down Long live the Dominque Wilkins....."The Human Highlight Film"
Dominique absolutely one of the only players to have the power and finesse combo
Nique was the man. I remember the days of staying up late to watch TBS to see Nique posterize the entire league.
I met dominique wilkins in real life. He's a soft spoken and nice guy. I really enjoyed meeting him
Keith Jordan L From his documentary I saw he seems like it on everyone's account.
Deonta B Many people thought he would be some uptight asshole but he was a real nice guy. I was actually shocked at how nice of a guy he was
Keith Jordan L I get it though. I was an asshole athlete but in person I was a nice guy. I was only like that when my team demaded it
Deonta B That's good. Unlike assholes like Michael Jordan. Now he (Jordan) was rude and disrespectful as hell nothing like how you see him in the commercials or space jam. He was a true uptight jackass
Keith Jordan L Lmao I heard about that. I hated kobe for that reason but I respect that man now
Best in game dunked ever
Absolutely. Who else dunked his own miss from 20 feet as he did it twice at least (vs. Celtics, Sixers)?
Him and Vince.
Savage mix. Badass song choice and editing. Strong work. 💪 💪💯
That dunk on Bird...gawd damn!
lol...that's why larry bird had back problems because of dominique wilkins....he hit that floor hard from that dunk...so much power with that finesse, flair and style.
One of the most underrated player of all time !
Cyclone Dunks and Tornado Dunks only by the Human Highlight film! Dominique Wilkins...most exciting dunker of all time! I miss his NBA performances.
blakes dunks are amazing but there's something bout the way dominique dunks. just amazing
A beast and unstoppable. Dominique Wilkins is without a doubt one of the best dunkers the world will ever see.
Ahead of his time, one of a kind. Bring back the 80's
A couple of nice dunks on Bird there.
goodness!! Dominique Wilkins is truly the king of game dunks!
Vince carter
@@miketime4290 Nah he the queen of game dunks
Dominique Wilkins: Panathinaikos' Greatest!!!
Thank you!
I just bought Dominique's rookie card tonight on eBay. Watching this video afterward made my purchase even sweeter!! Thanks for posting this vid!
You still got it
Ive come back to this same mixtape for a decade now. Still the best one ive ever seen for such an incredible player. For the last year i thought it was taken down. Maybe i just couldve find it? Either way, so happy to be watching it before a game again

this is rediculous its so good.......thanks for this mix along with the others, you can be one of the top 5 best nba mixers on youtube
Mj Larry bird and Dominique wilkins are the 3 players I have full faith that could still dominate the league today
Many have tried but no one will have the style and power of one Dominique Wilkins.

Lol, Wilkins was never as good as Jordan by any measure.
One of my favorite players back in the day -- amazing player.
Favourite player of all time. Noone dunks like Nique.
Nique was a TITAN of dunk!!!!
Dominique = Dominate
Greatest put back dunker.
Bulls fan here. Even though Bulls fans were spoiled in the 90's by MJ and 6 rings, Wilkins was still one of my favorite players to watch growing up in the late 80's and early 90's. Best naturally gifted, high-flying, powerful megadunker ever. period.
Wilkens, Jordan, Drexler, Kemp, Great Players for the ages, don't make them like that anymore!!!

How is he not on the Top 50 list? To have Scottie Pippen on that list and not Nique is an insult... Nique forever....
I watch Dominique in my days he can play inside and outside. Atlanta was 1 of the best team just couldn't get by Jordan and bulls. Jordan couldn't stop Dominique and vice versa!!
Dominique! KING of the Double Pump Dunk!
Dude...spot on.

He was the best catch the ball off the rim dunker of all time
You can't tell for sure by this angle of the camera...
2:29 just shows you Dominique was a BEAST!!!!
There will be people with Dominique's athletic ability now and then but there will never be anyone who has his sense of style
I'll keep coming and coming
And coming and coming.
And coming
And coming
Too sick bro , great job!
dominique wilkins and vince carter are two of the most complete dunkers the nba has ever seen! they brought it all to the rim style, power, grace, variety you name it.they have to be the only two guys who literally did dunk contest worthy shit in games on a consistent basis!
this is the nastiest mix i've ever seen
No cap
Yea, this still some heat!!!
song? btw great mix man great job you are the best
Nique was definitely unique...uniquely badass!!! A man among boys.
Best in-game dunker of all time.
Dominique and Jordan best dunkers all-time
favourite player along with larry bird and ben wallace
I always love his style mr. "GET YOUR FUCKING HAND OF MY WAY OR I BREAKIN IT" !

0:26 🤯
I still can't believe he wasn't selected one of the greatest 50 players of all-time
but he was chosen for the basketball hall of fame and that it's more important.
where are players like this today?
top 10 player hands down
Frightening elevation...
Nique, Shawn Kemp and Jordan always shocked me with the violence in their dunks.
I never really knew how good wilkins really was until now !! He is so deadly with the ball !!! TRUE NBA LEGEND . Btw wats th song?
Wilkins is sick!!!!
Top 30 all-time
@alfie360 You're so right!!! We'll never see that again!!!
Domonique is the truth! Remember watching him play at the Omni before they tore it down and built P Arena
Truly the "human highlight reel."
Points 26,668 (24.8 ppg)
Rebounds 7,167 (6.7 rpg)
Assists 2,677 (2.5 apg)
Wetagua what happened to the Drexler vid? i loved that one so much.
Great video. A few comments on here comparing nique to Jordan. Pure ignorance.

HUMAN highlight.....My FIRST COUSIN Patrick from the NATI (Cincinnat) looked just him when we were young.
