@@reynaldocarrrasquillo3183 that and age effects. Here Big boss is 39, in phantom pain the real big boss is 49, and venom is around 52-53 being 3-4 years older than boss.
This is so cinematic! We follow the actions of boss as he runs through this camp. The further in he goes the more Miller explains it's interesting history. The music just shoots it through the roof. Make this into a movie.
I think the story is great, it ties a lot of loose ends up. It’s just a shame they never made cutscenes for all the tapes, that’s my only gripe is that a lot of story is in those tapes and it can get boring sitting and listening to 10 minute long tapes.
@@firstbornchronicler there's actually a lot of videos explaining the story on UA-cam, and how it's like a misunderstood masterpiece that is meant to subvert expectations just like the whole MGS2 Raiden thing, plus the end of that game, *combined* I think anything Kojima does is a work of genius but I'm a shill lol
Personal Persona I think Phantom Pain was too big for it’s own good. Metal Gear fans love it, whereas casual players enjoyed the gameplay but the story lacked. I think when a franchise has been going since the 1980’s, the story is going to be lost on some people. I fall into the former camp, I think the story is awesome and like yourself I think that Kojima is awesome.
I downloaded this because I've been trying to find this for so long again... Finally I have the video personally. Thank you for re-uploading it! This is, idk man even though it's just a game, this really is- I can't explain it, it's just that good! I literally watch this multiple times, even though I have several games irl and do other things, I still somehow wind right back here watching it again and again..
I've watched a lot of mgs videos but this one is my top favorite, when the music picks up as you take his weapon in the begining is just epic timing. You played the shit out this demo for sure!
Honestly, there's something about GZ that makes it more "Metal Gear" than TPP. I find myself going back to it when I grow bored with the structure of TPP. Maybe it's the way Boss drops with finesse like a cat from a high jump, rather than rolling. Maybe it's the subtle differences in CQC, and the gratification of its silky animation. Or even, maybe, it's the consistency of the level design, giving you that old "do it your way" approach. Because, believe it or not, I don't see enough of this in TPP. Sure, I've gotten older, but TPP lacks the tight-knit design of its predecessors, in my opinion. It wants to try to do so many things at once that it feels as if the game has lost its way. GZ is a good reminder of what Metal Gear should feel and play like, regardless of its controversy in terms of overall content. There's much more corridor-styled action here. Metal Gear is deeply rooted in these conventions. Let us never forget that.
I guess in TPP Kojima Prod spend a lot of time on gameplay and base management mechanics that the storytelling and level design was rushed. On TPP one of the best missions for me actually was that one when you have to investigate the parasite breakout on quarentine platform
Supah Bluu actually the fact is that the area of operation is strictly define and you have to go across all of it to finish the game. It allows you to master it completly, which to me makes much more enjoyable to re do the mission to see any possibilities, which is unthinkable in TPP bc the game is too big. Im usually not the kind of person that do thé same mission over and over and i get bored quickly but i believe i have completly got my 9$ back from that game
@@Cafecomdesenho Doesn't even make sense. You like the demo better than the main game since that little part of the main game feels more like Metal Gear than the full game? Outside of playing as Solid Snake did Tanker feel more Metal Gear than plant?
Brian M kinda yer for me. I just played mgs2 twise, the original in ps2 and once in the hd collection. I dont know why but i dont like it. But i like it, the story is nice and everything but there is something about it that make me dont wanna play it again, maybe the controls or the angle vision.

@@SaturnineSuicide my dude a .22 can kill a person from 4 km away. If you get shot in the neck or head the chances of you walking away A ok are astronomically low.
Derick McLeod That’s a major exaggeration, considering the worlds longest recorded kill-shot was at 1.7 km with .338 lapua. I am doubtful a .22 could actually reach that far.
The music makes this feel like the final act of an espionage film where the protagonist has finally pulled off the impossible he thought he never could accomplish
hell yeah, a lot of people choose solid snake over big boss, but for me big boss is the top dog. the dude is the og naked snake, he had to kill the one person who taught him everything he knows and the one person he truly loved. it's that revenge transformation that i love about him. everything he has done throughout the metal gear story had a reason behind it. to show everyone what happens when you fuck with the wrong person.
Well Big Boss is bad guy after all ( Metal Gear - not Metal Gear Solid) and he is madman, Solid Snake is innocent (mostly) good guy. I wish there will be remake or new game that closses few gaps in series but since Kojima left I guess we will get only MGS Survive

Awesome! It's been a while since I played but... *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER* At the end of the Phantom Pain, when it's revealed that you're not really Big Boss, wasn't it at the time of Big Bosses coma that he was "replaced"? But, in Ground Zeros, it's still voice by Sutherland....Is that relevant?? Is the voice not important? Was Kojima legitimately just changing the voice actor or was he trolling us by replacing it for the ending reveal in TPP to signify a different person...If so, does that not mean it's like a plot hole that it's Sutherland voicing Ground Zeroes too??
The music makes the whole video seem like big boss is trying to save the world while there’s a timer thats about to go off and make the whole earth explode. Especially with miller talking in the background while the music gets more serious. I love it.
I don't know why you would, sometimes it's better to knock them out. That way they can't give back your location to the enemies by talking or move around as much.
Every month or so I come back to these videos, something about them just makes them so amazing to watch regardless if it's my 8th time watching. 7:29 is my favorite part. Fantastic work, I hope you make more.

i've beaten everysingle MGS game without killing anyone not scripted to die or firing a bullet, apart from the story parts that force you to fire a rocket launcher or something i only used the tranq pistol. gotta have spent 3000 hours minimum doing this with restarts and everything. no ragrets

Apple Jar gameplay footage takes up a shitton of space on computers and it's completely normal to play a game without recording

General rule of thumb on the internet is that you need proof when making a claim like that, but you have none. Vids or it didn't happen
Funny this came up when everyone is locked inside and has 300+ hours to play games
I feel like GZ had better CQC animations than TPP. The door kicks, grabbing people around corners, etc. A lot of parts of GZ were really good even if still a little clunky.
Probably better CQC because thats the real big boss

Say what you will about the faulty story. However, the playability of this game is top tier!
yeah, the gameplay is the best of the franchise easily.
I think the story is great, it ties a lot of loose ends up. It’s just a shame they never made cutscenes for all the tapes, that’s my only gripe is that a lot of story is in those tapes and it can get boring sitting and listening to 10 minute long tapes.
@@firstbornchronicler there's actually a lot of videos explaining the story on UA-cam, and how it's like a misunderstood masterpiece that is meant to subvert expectations just like the whole MGS2 Raiden thing, plus the end of that game, *combined*
I think anything Kojima does is a work of genius but I'm a shill lol
Personal Persona I think Phantom Pain was too big for it’s own good. Metal Gear fans love it, whereas casual players enjoyed the gameplay but the story lacked. I think when a franchise has been going since the 1980’s, the story is going to be lost on some people. I fall into the former camp, I think the story is awesome and like yourself I think that Kojima is awesome.

The way you make your gameplay look cinematic is like no other MGS V content on UA-cam.
Wow you’re really dick riding huh?
Maybe because you're actually Big Boss.
Its better than a cutscene, how fluid this is
I wish TPP had more interior locations or a couple large bases like this. GZ may have been short but it’s a great map.
Norman Harris its really a great map, i put 35hs on ground zeroes and 85hs on phantom pain, and i did a lot, only 5 trophies remains

This video made me realise how fucking badass Big Boss is.. and Venom Snake too.. people should give them more credit than shaming them..
hell yeah, a lot of people choose solid snake over big boss, but for me big boss is the top dog. the dude is the og naked snake, he had to kill the one person who taught him everything he knows and the one person he truly loved. it's that revenge transformation that i love about him. everything he has done throughout the metal gear story had a reason behind it. to show everyone what happens when you fuck with the wrong person.
Big boss doesn't kill
Alex Garza except for when he does like all those soldiers in Metal Gear Solid 3 Metal Solid V Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain
Well Big Boss is bad guy after all ( Metal Gear - not Metal Gear Solid) and he is madman, Solid Snake is innocent (mostly) good guy. I wish there will be remake or new game that closses few gaps in series but since Kojima left I guess we will get only MGS Survive
Michał Kwiatkowski the bad Guy is the Venom boss .. Not the big boss exactly .. Big Boss is a anti hero .. but The bad Guy in really are his phantom
