Glad you had a chance to hit NBAA, it won't be your last visit for sure. I was there as well. I fly a Falcon 7X (out of Denver) that's getting an upgrade in June so I was chatting with the team at Dassault as well as a gander at all of the eye-candy. Your reviews are great. Your Lucid expose' contributed to my decision to purchase an Air GT.
Very impressive to go to a show like this and purchase a new business jet! You guys were so struck over the Honda jet, so I'll bet that's the one you purchased. But my favorite one that you featured is the Praetor 600. Very nice bird! 😊
Its definitely the Honda Jet that you guys are getting. I love flying and what an amazing life you guys have to be surrounded by these nice aircrafts. Stay safe and thank you for sharing
Piper Turbo I believe could be a more sustainable investment. I support the boys and family. If they even know how many people enjoy the fun of taking chances and rolling the wheels. Onward 🌈
I enjoyed the video. I liked the video (which I often forget to do) primarily because you said "Please click the Like Button because it really helps with the UA-cam algorithm..." Somewhere along the line some idiot said, "Please smash the Like Button..." I can't stand it. It was refreshing to have a reason for doing it. I know, it's weird and petty but to each their own. Great video.
Ever since I saw it on a flight magazine in 2005, the Hondajet has been my dream plane and will probably always be. I found it to be so beautiful, eye catching, and unique and just enough range for what I would want to do, especially that new Echelon. Hopefully one day I'll hit all six numbers on the lottery 😅
HondaJet Echelon... LOI means nothing when it's still just a concept.. i hope you actually get it eventually.. A lot of things can happen between now and then..
Something tells me you guys are buying the Phenom 100EX because it's just a measly 5mm dollars right? Or maybe its the Piper M350. Either way, I can't wait to see which one goes home with you guys! Hey and if you are an aviation fan as I am, you should know who Sam Chui is. He's been all over the world on just about every type of aircraft than anyone else. I love his channel as I do JR Aviation. Keep them coming gentlemen. Thank you for sharing. "Are you willing to sign up for maintainability?" Hmm. 😉
Do you not get a Continental powered Malibu. Those engines are prone to in-flight high speed disassembly. The Lycoming TIO-540 is one of the most solid general aviation engines made. It is the big brother to the IO-360, which is regarded as the most reliable general aviation engine made. I worked for a company that had seven BBJ’s, they were extremely impressive airplanes, but no one could afford them, and we had to get rid of them. I am just your normal every day old guy who watches international relations, very closely. Be very careful buying anything, Brazilian, except waxes, US-Brazilian international relations are going to be souring quickly, and a trade embargo may follow.
Haha I know right at first I liked his vids and I keep finding myself watching them but whyyyy do u keep investing money into planes and not training to actually be a good pilot hats off to Owen and the crew super cool bunch of guys but not a fan of you sir you whinge a lot why buy a jet if u are just going to complain everyone knows there not cheap u don’t see videos of people doing it cause no one wants to see a sook sook about his little $13000 jet bill that’s nothing considering what it can do and the safety of it so think yourself lucky to even be able to do what you do will never be as good as Cletus or Dave though
I would guess the only company taking ILO's right now is Honda jet on the new Honda Jet 2600 or the Echelon. Single pilot 2625 mile range. Estimated to come in at around 12 to 14 million dollars. It was reported they already have 350 ILO's. This would my choice as well. CA to HI. Nice
The BBJ is based at my local airport in a huge private hangar. It flies to KSJC to pick up the owner/passengers and following the business trip, stops at KSJC to drop off passengers, then flies back to its base airport. I was always curious what the interior looked like and would never have had a chance to see it if it wasn't for this video. So thanks for the interior tour!
*I’d take the ACJ. At least you’d know it wasn’t going to fall apart on you while flying! And I’m pretty sure Airbus Doesn’t assassinate whistle blowers!* 😂
If your Citation is too old and problematic, maybe look at the Eclipse 550. It's about half weight of Phenom 100, same as visionjet but has two engines and it goes. FL410. And I think it has the best fuel economy of any jet. Unfortunately pratt and whitney increased the price of the engines absurdly to 911k$ a piece but maybe if the engines have life enough left for personal use. I think it's an overlooked aircraft, if only pratt and whitney didn't sabotage it. Eclipse should make their own engines. They originally targeted half a million as the price for the entire plane. PW is the problem.
OK, so here is my observation, take it or leave it. You guys need to slow down, and enjoy and savor the cool planes you already have, at last count, the Cessna 182 with the larger engine, the Bonanza, and of course the Citation Jet. Three awesome planes that you ought to take advantage of, by taking the time to learn how to fly each of them, and enjoy the fruits of your labor with UA-cam. Stop being passengers and get on it! Get all the ratings, PVT, IFR, CPL, ME, and build up some time and experience like Owen has done as well as Tommy (Gear Down) . Just saying, you guys are lucky! Happy Holidays!
My sister got to fly on one of these BBJs just because she was nice to a customer where she was working at in So. America. Free ride home to California AND he got a limo to drive her from Burbank to home... All because she snuck him some pancakes!
Hopefully I can catch you guys in Billings soon, whether its in a Bonanza, the 501, or a new Honda Jet. Sadly I was in school last time you guys came by.
Dude, your videos are so inspiring. I love how you’re chasing after your dreams! I love the vids and I’m thinking the jet you signed for was possibly a Honda Jet first and second guess would possibly be a CJ3
What if a private citizen in the USA, say.....someone from Missouri who later moved to South Florida and made $85 million a year and ultimately ended up being worth $750 million, bought a Gulfstream 550. What would it cost on an annual basis just to keep the plane legal; engine stuff, etc etc etc...? Would he own a hangar or just park it in someone else's hangar? How much would either of those options cost on an annual basis? Would this individual have a flight and cabin crew on retainer or would there be pilots around who could just hop in and fly on short notice? What would it cost to have a flight and cabin crew on 100% retainer, ie, you work for me even when you're not working. Would it possible for this individual to own such a plane and not even notice the purchase price or annual costs? What would it cost per hr in the air? What would it cost for this individual to fly, or more accurately have flown, empty , the plane from West Palm Beach to LA and back on Earth Day in order to contribute CO2 to the atmosphere?
I can already guess, you guys put down an LOI on the Hondajet coming out in 2028!! My favourite Plane is the Praetor, though you guys zoomed past it, barely showed us content in there.
I would take the Airbus over the Boeing every day. There is no safer airplane than an Airbus 320 series jet. On the other hand, Boeings are falling out of the sky like crazy. And, the airbus is way better to fly. I really don´t like flying the 737, it´s like an overweight Cessna. The Airbus really gives you an airliner feel.
My guess young man is the Piper Turbo...reason being Piper. This one kicks the can for a long walk. I truly enjoy your content. Fabulous times with genuine intent. Onward 🌈 to your true likes and dislikes
i fly a M350. it’s the best SEP for me. but w/b is not suitable for 6 PAX and +1,5H fuel. BUT, FL250, 200kt TAS, Weather Radar, Anti Ice boots etc, makes is sooo much more capable for serius transport missions than the most planes in the same price catagory. i love her
My favorite ? . . . the BBJ of course . . . maybe I'll have a dream tonight that I'm being taken around the world in it - or, maybe I'll be reincarnated as a billionaire in my next life.
I’m glad you guys are so confident in the Bonanza to take a Single Engine non-Turbo over the Sierras. Not Me, although I’ve done some Mountain Flying over many of the various SoCal Mountains. Circled over Big Bear Airport as I watched a loaded older Airplane go down out of the Airport their. Hardest day of my flying days in the 90’s.

@@flyashish they don't have the money now, but the Honda Jet won't be ready until 2028. He even said it in the video
@@flyashishI think it's the Embraer too
Don't forget the Maserati!
Piper Turbo I believe could be a more sustainable investment.
I support the boys and family. If they even know how many people enjoy the fun of taking chances and rolling the wheels. Onward 🌈
Piper Turbo do the MATH..
It's Definitely the Preator 600!!
That ProLine Fusion avionics is Must have in Jet world
Nothing in avionics is Finer than Proline Fusion ❤😊
I fly a King Air with the Proline. Garmin’s G1000 is a better product.
Always look forward to a new video from you guys, keep it up.
Thanks! Will do!
Honda jet all the way
I enjoyed the video. I liked the video (which I often forget to do) primarily because you said "Please click the Like Button because it really helps with the UA-cam algorithm..." Definitely get the Malibu G1000…. Will be your favorite aircraft and parts/maintenance is sooooo much cheaper compared to other brands
All depends on your goals or targets of ownership.
Hello from Chile !!! The Honda Jet
Yes
Learned from a guy who owns a Malibu, he spent $100k on his Annual for overhaul etc but man it’s expensive.
Super congratulations 👏🏻 on the new plane 🛬🛩️🛫 excellent video as always brothers 🇺🇸
The PC-12 was the best one at the show.
"Taking delivery of our brand new BBJ" 😂
One day!
The Honda Jet is my favorite plane! i hope you are buying one!
HondaJet Echelon... LOI means nothing when it's still just a concept.. i hope you actually get it eventually.. A lot of things can happen between now and then..
I’d take a used G4 over a new Honda jet, but I’d say you got the 100ex
Looking very nice.
Great to see you guys are ok. Loving the aviation content, but really missing the cars.

So you're intending on buying a HondaJet ay ? Congrats.
Baggage compartment in the Honda jet took up too much space in my opinion
Owen had the best comment,"We don't belong here."😂
Last video you guys were complaining about how much the maintenance costs. Next video - “buying another jet!” 😂😂😂
New jet = lower maintenance costs 😅
@@JRGarage touché!!!!!
Super knowledgeable but he doesn’t even have a pilots license. So confusing

I saw a BBJ here in Norway this summer on flightradar.
Jay “and learn how to fly” 😂 hope y’all get back into flight training, would really enjoy following and all of that content!
Haha always gotta keep them motivated 👍🏽
I been blessed to go inside 2 different BBJ’s while working at signature flight support. Truly amazing experience that I will never forget.

Love the videos!! JR Aviation never disappoints...
Thank you! Enjoy!
What a great show! Thanks for taking us along. Excited for your new jet. 👍👏
Citation Max @ $10M by 10 partners is only $1M each. Another $100k each per year for operating costs and boom! You are there!
Definitely the Phenom 100EX. It was made for taller people. Single pilot operation. No brainer
It's the Honda. The letter of intent coincides with when the Honda will finally be rolled out.
when you get to your destination you don’t have to stay in a hotel.
Oh man you gotta sit in the M350. Super unfriendly to the tall. I would have liked to see your reaction getting in haha.

Get a Piaggio!! very well made plane. That 737 needs a wood stove. I would put up some real pine wood wall panelling just to SPRUCE it up!!
I’m gonna say the CJ3. The HondaJet and phenom 100 are super nice but the range and payload aren’t a major improvement over your current Citation.
My guess young man is the Piper Turbo...reason being Piper. This one kicks the can for a long walk.

Can't wait to watch this video, quick question do you use MSFS2020 to stay current?(Like instruments)
Cant wait for 2028 when you take delivery of the HONDA 😅🎉✌️🕺

btw USAF Fighter pilot's maximum height is 77 inches, just over 6' 4"
You guys need to get you PPL, it will be so much fun to fly and make hours !
Falcon 8x is 2-pilot but is single-attentive-pilot during cruise.
I fly a Cessna 172 out of LA, I really do love flight simulator 2020.🤪
Don’t know why but you kinda look like your in a disguise in the video 😝… different haircut maybe? Honda jet looked 👌
I love the fact that you guys are doing it...GOD BLESS
@16:04 i would choose an AirBus any day and every day over the now very notorious Boeing 737😳‼‼😂🤣
Do you live in bay area or from there? Im from Milpitas. As a kid i would pass reid hillview when going to eastridge.
Yes you should get the Malibu, and pay my credit card off😊
Actually, you should do a follow on the development and build out of the Honda Echelon, down to delivery. Views will be in the millions
Why'd u stop making car vids but these are also good but bring something bad for the car Enthusiasts
You never say “motor” in aviation ? It’s an engine ! Only people who don’t know calls it that !
Who was the little Guido?? And who handed him the playbook to Corporate Aviation lol...
The new Honda Jet. Is the one you signed the LOI. I'm Partial to the prop jet you showed us.
My favorite are the Dassault Falcon tri-jets and HondaJet

Favorite is Praetor 600 .. 4.0000 NM lots of avionics 22-24 million
What salesman, 30% more table because it's flat! My tables are all wavy and curvy!
BBJ, 737 for continental flights and 777 got Europe and Asia
When the you getting your pilots license? It's about time you did!
If I was you!, i would insted save up to a private boing or Airbus & flex *hard!*
Lol I wish they could swoop down to the Grand Rapids airport and pick me up so I can get a ride on a private jet 😂
I'm betting you signed a LOI for the Praetor 600.
You want a Malibu/Mirage/M350? Sit in one first…. Heh
Damn, Jet over load!! NIce show guys.👍
My guess is the Phenom 100EX. The Honda is way too much.
Great video but shave the “stache.” You look like SBF and Screech had a love child.
Buy cheap, low time and put your magic to it. Make the buck and move up.
YES!! Another episode, enjoy watching all of your guys videos! Safe flying 😃
Awesome! Thank you!
maybe you should aim for a 1st Gen TBM.......
I think it would take more than winning the lotto..phenom 100ex be my choice
How about you learn how to legally fly an airplane before you shop around for another ehh?
it's the Honda Jet... where do you guys get your money, teach me please! 😫
Big congrats Jay I regret not getting started 20 years ago but it's nice to see people progress!!!!!
Thank you very much! Hey, it’s never too late.
These guys cannot afford a brand new Honda jet or Phenom 100 lol
I hope you ordered a Honda Jet Echelon! Absolutely phenomenal aircraft. Transcontinental range, single pilot, 11 passengers. Planes don't get better
I assume the Honda Jet you've shown, for 2028
Davis Nancy Robinson Steven Harris John
I hope you can get a brand new bombardiar 6000 that would be so cool
