I love thrifting!!!! And love to do up gift baskets for birthdays or holidays....and find my baskets at the thrift stores. Few dollars compared to the $15 or more you'll spend on a new one from a craft store. Sometimes i use them as is other times I update them with paint or stain.
Gifts in a basket always feel more special!
The basket idea is what I like to give someone a meal in! Presentation is everything when someone is sick or just had a baby 😇
You spark my creativity and make me want to refurbish furniture. One day I actually will!
My hubby has told me if something follows me home for keeps, then I have to move something out. But you know that's not always easy especially if you're trying for a specific look. Give me time hubby, it's a work/look in progress!
That little side table though! 😍
I'm so glad you liked it, WhichCraft Now! Stay tuned for more fun videos. 😊
My favorite videos are your thrift flips! I love the side table.
Hi Meghan Stufflebean. Yeah! Isn't it cute? Thanks for sharing your choice!
My favorite is the side table. The stain really brought out the wood grain. What a terrific find!
Hi Linda Goodson. Yeah! Isn't it cute? Thanks for sharing your choice!
I was so hoping to see you redo that lamp 😉
Maybe next video 😂
Great tips... Thanks Liz
Another great video Liz!!! Love all the ideas! Shopping anyone? 🛍️😁
Your thrift stores are organized and have great items. The stores here aren't that way. It makes it harder to find things and frustration sets in so you leave.
Thanks for being humble enough to admit your fails! 😄 It makes me feel less bad when I have one. Lol! Keep being your gorgeous self! Loved all the crafts.
Hi Sheri Traenkenschuh! Thanks so much for watching my video. 😊
I loved them all, but my favorite was project #1, it turned out gorgeous...
I'm so glad you love it, Marla Sturgill. Have fun watching! 💕
I love these videos where you find an item and DIY it in the same video...❤
I'm so glad you love it, Jeanne Reich. Have fun watching! 💕
Your thrift store's have great solid wood items, even if you just clean them up. You have a great eye for design😍😍😍
Liz I absolutely love the side table!! The basket and the wooden file/magazine holder were my next favorites. Thanks for the thrifting tips Liz 😊❤️
I love this video. I love that you brought home the ugly basket and made it beautiful! Thank you
I'm so glad you love it, Kaycee Glasgow. Have fun watching! 💕
Liz, I LOVE that thrift store!! It looks so “high end”! I’d love to get my hands on some of those pieces. My mom was a thrift store/antique finder! That one table with the thick leg and round top, I think is what my mom always found was “ back in the day” she said they took old legs off old dining room tables and added a round or square even hexagonal piece of wood to the top and a base for the bottom and made table out of the legs. She found several of these, refinished them and I have them now that she passed. They make GREAT end tables & plant stands! I just can’t get over how stocked and beautiful your thrift store was! Thanks for the inspiration & memory lane.
I'm so glad you love it, Toni Stark. Have fun watching! 💕
I love all your secrets and I did them all except the books!! I learned that from you!!! Thank you!!! Painting books is my new obsession!!! I can’t wait to find different sizes each time I go thrifting!!!❤️
Loved how the side table came out.
I love the pedestal table
I'm so glad you love it, Betty Loar. Have fun watching! 💕

Hi Liz. You are my favorite DIY. , I love ❤️ to shop in thrift store since I was a little girl. My house is decorated by a thrift shop. Is deferent from all my friends and family. They all call my home. A museum!! Because my decoration those not. Look like any one. Love you’re tips. And you should do more thrifty video. Thank you 🙏. God bless you
I live everything you xreate!!! My favorite is your door/tray, absolutely gorgeous! As always thank you for sharing your creativity, talent and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy and positive! GOD bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊
I would love to see a video whereby you go thrifting and you explain to us why you would buy one item over another of similar usage. For example: put two vases side by side and tell why you would buy one but not the other. Would it be the shape, neck size, what it is already made of, and whether it is simple to up style. Etc etc. This way we can get a feel of what you in particular look for at the thrift shop to DIY with. Hope that all makes sense.
Love the side table and the wood magazine rack. Love wooden projects. Also love how the rose basket turned out. I used to collect baskets but when I moved I had to get rid of alot of them.
My mom just passed away and she had 3 wooden cutting boards hanging in her kitchen that my dad made. I decided to turn them into a craft project. Also my dad had made a wooden tissue box cover and a sorted letter holder which I plan to redo.
I love when you do this type of videos they are my favourite. Great job
Love love that side table
I'm so glad you love it, Miriam Dieppa. Have fun watching! 💕
Be sure to check with your local libraries. They, usually, sell books for .25-$1. Plus, ones they can’t sell, they’re always throwing away. I never pay anything for decor books. Thanks for a great vid!
Hi Pennie Roehrs! Thanks so much for watching my video. 😊
The tray was a great idea to use a piece of rug! Genius! Thanks for the thrifting tips. Excited to go and be creative.
Hi Migdalia Sanchez! Thanks so much for watching my video. 😊
I LOVE that side table!!!! I've been wanting a cute round side table. What a great find and price.
I'm so glad you love it, Ginger Eiss. Have fun watching! 💕
Don't remember seeing the finished desk or dresser that you painted green. The round table was my favorite. All your projects are awesome.
I love the side table. My thrift stores carry a lot of clothes and not a lot of other items so I don't find much when I go to them.
Our large thrift chain in Canada, (Whose prices are ridiculously high to begin with) do get a lot of crafting supplies, but instead of displaying them where shoppers could browse the items, they throw a hodge podge of them into bags. The bags are see through but despite that, you cannot clearly make out what is in them. I've bought a few and just ended up re-donating most of it back, because it was either junky, or items I would never use.
Unfortunately the only other thrift store in town, our SA, does not receive much in terms if crafting supplies.
I do appreciate the tips Liz, and appreciate that you show in store, then flipping in one video!
That side table was a steal! Normally I prefer darker stain on wood furniture but I really liked the natural stain color you used. I get a lot of planters at the thrift stores as well. My husband has a special glass cutting bit as well that I have used before to turn glass pieces in to planters (very carefully with eye protection,) if I like the shape but need the drainage holes! I just spray paint it inside and out and no one knows 😁
I loved the little round side table and it's transformation along with the wooden tray you changed up with adding handles and painting black. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad you love it, JuddyandRobynAlways B. Have fun watching! 💕

Hi Kathy Hensley! Thanks so much for watching my video. 😊
I really like the video format you are using, how you find an item then cut to the DIY freshening up of the item.👍
Also with buying books from the thrift store or any used books I often find they have Bugs usually silver fish. Have you found a way to get rid of these unwanted “little tag alongs “ before bringing the book into your home?
Definitely going to watch the RV videos
