LOVED THE PHOTO decorations ( I just learned from you HOW to get those photos developed easily and the price is priceless 35 cents ! wow. And the journal, cork, pens and extra stickers for inside - Genius! What a happy stocking stuffer that is USEFUL and Delightful. Happy little girls . I love that you put the stickers in for them to use themselves.too. You never ever run out of ideas LIZ . Im impressed and watch you about everyday to get away from the news and calm down with something happy. Thank you. This is a lot of work .
I love watching your videos! You explain things so well and include information about doing things that may be common knowledge but I find it very helpful since I'm doing diy projects for the first time.
Girl! You went and did it again! These are great ideas! My fav is the potpourri jar as I have fresh rosemary plants on hand. I also have fresh mint. As always, thank you so much for your wonderful inspirations!
Love dollar tree crafts! I use rounds for ornaments every year that we cut from the bottom of the tree we cut down for that Xmas. Here’s my fave tho (since u asked, hehe!): Last year I made photo $1 store luminaries! I used 4 dollar store 4x6 frames (painted gold & backing removed), 1 small square candle mirror ($1 store) and printed the photos on my home photo printer on velum sheets. Glued all 4 frames together like a cube, then glued the mirror to the bottom, mod podged the photos on the OUTSIDE (that’s important!) of the frames’ glass and added homemade pillar candles! Each family member loved them and has theirs out all year. The photos still look great with the soft glow inside! Happy holidays and happy crafting :)
Ester - Good tip. You could also check out YT channel ~ Hot Humble Pie with the title 'How To Make Chalk Paint Cheap and Easy' from 7 mos ago. Sometimes it is hard to find Waverly Chalk Paint.
I love the vase diy. It's the simple form of the Turkish Ebruli art (with water and paint drawing on water and then transferring on paper). This is very simple and gorgeous technique. Thank you Liz. They all are cute.
If you can't find chalk paint and have to use acrylic put a layer of mod podge first and let it dry. Paint it with the acrylic paint and it works great!
I just ordered the wood ornaments from Amazon and will be making personalized ornaments with pictures. My father just passed away at 95 years old. I have pics of him with the Great-Grands, so I will make ornaments for each of them to put on their trees. Great ideas Liz!
I use white cheep paint apple barrel and what I do is shave some white calks amd make it like my own works great and cheep love your crafts thanks sharing 🇨🇦🥂🙏
Liz , Holly at Hot Humble Pie told us about adding baby powder to regular paint to make your own chalk paint. You may already know this trick. Love your ideas so much!
I just finished making the holiday potpourri jars. They are so cute!!! I also have some simmering on my stove right now & it smells absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for sharing, what a great idea!! ♥️🎄♥️
Quick tip for painting on a slick surface is to use matte clear spray paint because it will give the surface something to hold on to and because it's"clear" it won't interfere with color! The warning is don't use it as a sealer because it can become cloudy!!! Anyways back to the video cutiepatootie 🤗💗 I love the faux marble and definitely going to try it!!!
The plates came out great. So pretty. For the mini palate coasters, I would probably add cork or something else to the insides to catch the condensation.
I made potpourri last year. I bought oranges and apple last year that we didn't like. Put them in my dehydrator. I had a couple of empty Bath & Body works candles and clear bags from them as well. It smelled so good.
Pallette coasters are cute but I loved the potpourri jars and the wooden round ornaments. I think I'll string wooden beads on the twine to jazz them up a bit.
I really loved the potpourri gift as well as the coasters. DIY ideas I usually give during Christmas from Dollar Tree. Along w/journals are Art Caddies (all of my nieces * nephews w/daughter are very crafty so I tend to use the Dollar Tree caddies add various themed caddies. This year it will be the painters caddy, w/paints, brushes, various sizes of the canvases, paint pallet, clear votive for water & a cylinder container for the brushes. For the adults I make a sugar scrub, using the jars similar to what you have for potpourri, sugar, coconut oil, & the essential oils (lavender or citrus) mixed together & add a hand lotion. Attached w/a mini wooden scoop from the party section at Hobby Lobby & tied w/decorative ribbon. 😊
I adore simmering potpourri! I use the little Crockpot mini dip pot and have looked up so many different combinations. The beach, Williams Sonoma store etc. I get my spices from the Hispanic section of the grocery. Much more affordable and much fresher! ❤
Very cute ideas for inexpensive gifts. I love the potpourri jar and my granddaughters would love the journal gifts. I like the marble looking trays as well. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day.
All of your diy gift ideas are amazing! My favorite is the photo ornaments! I also have given photo ornament gifts in the past. I see that you are re-doing your wall behind you, it looks great! My husband and I have been working on my craft room recently....we still have more to go but getting there! I just can't wait to use it! As always thank you for sharing your creativity, talent and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy and positive! GOD bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸🌲
These are some great ideas. Have a suggestion for the red Ball canning jars for flower a vase. I use cranberries, rosemary with a floating led votive light add water along with a pretty ribbon for a nice hostess gift under $2.00.

These are really great inexpensive ideas. So glad you did this. I haven’t seen any ideas for gifts - just “DIYs” for Christmas. Helps with Secret Santa also. Really appreciate it.
I used composition books for summer journals for my granddaughters. I also used scrap paper sheets as dividers and to decorate the front and back coveers. I also made pouches to hold items in the book.
I like all your gift ideas. But I guess the journal is my favorite. if you find the right size journal for someone but the decor is not right, the cork is a great idea to cover it up plus the cork is good for a guy also. You are always so clever. Have a wonderful day
