Installing Van Windows - the easy way

When you want windows on your 2021 Ford Transit high roof extended cargo van, sometimes you just want to pay someone else to do it, so that's what I did! Hope it helps inspire options for your van build. There are a ton of videos showing people cutting holes in their vans...
I went with OEM equivalent glass on the sliding door. The pill windows in the back are awning style. I chose this style so they can be opened in the rain. They include a screen.

I did not get a line by line breakdown so I can't say for certain on the cost of install for the rear awning style windows (more than it should be and you will save a ton going DIY but do your research to do it right). Probably the scary or unknown for most is getting the alignment right and where/how to cut those inner ribs. You can see where they were cut in the video. On the outside, make the top of your window parallel with the metal fold you see just above it.

Watch as many as you can! You'll get a good sense of what videos are worthy and what not to do. Hope it goes well! Sometime in the future I will cut my own holes for the Maxxair and Dometic RTX 2000 12V AC... TBD when, but sometime this summer!
