"It was pretty random and sudden things moved very quickly"
Those words hit hard.
At the end of June this year my mom went to the doctor because of a pain in her abdomen, which was a cyst, but than they found colon cancer...and it was already spreading into her lungs and liver ->random an sudden.
Sadly she passed away on August 22rd this year, the funeral is tomorrow.
I hope your journey ends better than my moms.

I have been having seizures since around this time in 2016; I fully understand how you feel going through this. I’ve been having more seizures here lately, so I’m wondering if there is a development in the brain box. I hope there isn’t, but nonetheless. Hoping and praying for you my good man!
You should probably check in with the doctor if seizures has been happening for 6 years? just an idea
@@highelf6086 Funny story about that; See, they’ve had me on the Keppra 500mg for 5 of the past 6 years, only realizing I need to up my dosage to 1k mg just recently. Because of some of the side effects that the keppra has on me (including anxiety, loss of appetite, etc.), I also use medicinal cannabis which also helps with the seizures.

My little sister who is 37 , 5 years ago like you had a fit, was scanned and had 2 brain tumors! Hers is terminal but 5 years on she's still with us. Good luck with yours!

I also had a tumor (on my skull) and felt completely fine, no headaches, only near sighted vision in my left eye (which had mishaped optic nerves). How long I had the tumor was unknown and it was only found when my eyes were checked when I was getting new glasses. I can relate to your situation and hope you get better

I do have headaches from time to time and you're right... I think in general we tend to ignore those for the most part. So that seizure in a way really saved you, i'm glad you managed to get help quickly and that it didn't escalate further in the moment.

I hope you're doing well, definitely tell your story. You never know if it might help someone else out.
The good thing is that medical science tends to double it's knowledge every twenty years. There are a lot of things that are treatable and "cureable" that weren't when I was back in high school.
I know everyone and their grandmother will say things like yoga, clean eating, crystals and stuff like that. John Hopkins has a few peer reviewed studies on turkey tail mushroom and the reduction of tumors (in combination with regular medical treatments). Biology and pharmacology aren't my strong points I just like cultivating gourmet mushrooms. If they are running clinical trials in your areas you might want to ask your tumor doc about it.
Adam: my grandson Jacobo and I pray for you. You have gave us so much love and life, God will retrieve you all you do for childhood and humanity.

I'm still so fascinated and inspired by your overall positivity throughout your battle Adam. Of course, you mentioned in your initial video that you felt positive and confident that everything would go well, which it sounds like it has so far, but cancer of any kind is extremely scary and worrisome, and for you to remain so positive as you fight this is so inspirational, and it really strengthens my hope that you will, indeed, overcome this, that you will, indeed, beat this, and that you will, indeed, one day be cancer-free. I look forward to further updates on how things are going, and I think that yeah, you could share your pictures with us, but it would actually be a good idea like you suggested to provide time stamps for those who may be a little sensitive to such.

I am so interested in all the stories and pictures and videos you have of this strange, unwelcome journey y’all are on right now with the cancer. Thank you for the update and I’m so glad you are feeling better after the surgery and things. I can only imagine the hard things you and your family have had to go though with this and will have to keep weathering as treatment moves forward so I will keep you in my prayers if that’s alright with you. I have small seizures every day that aren’t dangerous but they are scary sometimes and I’m looking into the physical cause of these brain glitches - in my case it could be a brain stem kink or pinching and pressure/poor blood flow… and I’d like it all to stop. I find it so important to have loved ones to make me keep going and fighting for because life is about uplifting others and being a helpful testimony. It looks like you are a great dad and husband and contributor to your community and society which I aspire towards. Keep it up and stay nerdy!
