Dumb question how do you know it’s right traffic pattern if no control tower. I thought standard is left traffic pattern? Did you check the airport directive and it says it’s right pattern? Confused newbie. Maybe due to wind?
Nice job catching that Aziz. You’re right, the normal traffic pattern is left turns. If it is non-standard right turns, like Catalina’s runway 22, you will find a note in the chart supplement and also on the sectional chart in the airport information box. It will be listed as RP 22 meaning that runway 22 uses a right pattern.

My concern with this training video is your altitude of 4,500’. Unless you really want to go swimming, seems rather low if you lose your engine.
