I gave my son his first hour of complex aircraft time with a flight to Catalina in a C-210. He handled it like a trooper.

Been to Catalina a few times and you've got some great ideas in this video for crossing the water and catalina in particular.

This is by far the best video about flying to Catalina. I flew there yesterday solo, after a checkout with an instructor. Everything you said was accurate and I will share this video with my pilot friends and flying club. Thank you!!

Excellent video Marc! You may have heard the exciting news that the Conservancy is working with the Marines and Navy to upgrade the runway from asphalt to concrete! Awesome solution, considering the problems the airport has always had getting the proper construction equipment on site to do the repairs! Thanks, and continue to fly safe!

That is a fantastic idea. I haven’t made a new video simply because it’s so much work and the viewership doesn’t seem to be worth the hours. Lol. But so many people have messaged me, and yours is a great idea.

@@singermcl1 I completely understand. Im about to start a channel myself. I think it takes quite a while and alot of content before you get a lot of viewership. However I think your channel will blowup at some point if you keep going. I love the way you did that video. It was extremely professional and entertaining. You may want to have a couple videos with a topic that alot of people will search for. For example, perhaps a ms flight simulator vs real life video or a how to become a pilot video with a breakdown. I know those are covered by some other people out there, but i think it's usually a major topic that will bring in alot of viewers that will subscribe and subsequently want to watch more of your content. Your style does appear to be alot of work but will probably catch on if u cover major/controversial topic. Think what most people search for

Where did you get the approach plate for "two harbors listing iaf PADOR. Or is it non existent now? I'm not a pilot. But X-Plane 11 flight Sim with its accuracy of flight models as apposed to other flight sims. Great video and tutorial. I will fly that pattern.
