Agree. But there is actually a clue way before that one. When the doctor was stuck on a tree with his parachute, Royce asked him does he have a knife to cut him down, and he said no. Then later he used a knife to touch a poisonous flower.

I just watched this movie a few days ago for the first time. Watched it only because there was nothing but hate for it. No clue why it gets hate. Absolutely enthralling, just about every minute.

A tv series based on this idea of a group of killers being dropped into the predators game preserve would be pretty cool you can include detailed backgrounds of characters survivors of previous hunts and the main guys meeting new prey being dropped in. There could be different groups of prey forming up some want off the planet others are embracing it and accepting the hunt. Conflict between groups over supplies etc,

I could never figure out why sniper girl can take a creature out with one bullet while the Russian needed about 300 rounds.

She shot the soft side, the russian shot the armored front end.
Cos she's IDF. She's trained to snipe at anything that moves, big or small, even across walls.
There's a good reason you don't see infantry carrying miniguns. The issue is recoil, which affects accuracy combined with weight.

A lot of comments on here on how they wasted so much ammo. You have to think, these Predators were smart as hell. They used the Pred-Dogs as decoys in order for them to waste their ammo out making them defenseless for later on. At the same time they were studying their weapons of choice. These Super Predators were so lethal that they even captured a Jungle Predator to use as an example of their might.

I would have been better off as a six-part mini series.
The guy with the Vulcan mini gun literally just wasted probably 300 to 400 bullets trying to shoot a target less than 50 feet in front of him. Why do they always give the biggest idiot in the group the biggest gun?
Its weird tho considering he's one of the best. Remember the thing with these guys is that they rank at the top of what they do. Predators don't go after just anybody they go after those they view as a worthy foe to hunt.

5:14 I love this scene so damn much.
We see the guy in the middle of that clearing, hunched over like he’s in pain. Though he doesn’t seem to be moving, the fact that he’s repeatedly calling out for help proves he’s still alive. You know it’s a trap however and he’s going to be killed either way so when the lady (sorry, I can’t remember any of the names lol) shoots him we think that’s the end of the scene until *he calls for help again*
It was this moment were it was revealed that he had been dead the whole time that truly cemented this movie as one of my personal favourites
He wasn't alive, after they mercy kill him "he" calls out again for help.

Have to say, for the most part they really nailed the pacing of this film. They allow it to breathe, dare I say it, almost as good as the original two, the way it pauses so that you can get a feel for the characters and really soak in what's going on. The AvP films and the more recent Alien films don't often have that.
The only thing a bit sketchy with this movie is how the minigun guy couldn't even wound any predator at the camp, despite spraying bullets all over the place...

This is probably the best "newer" predator film at least it tried to honor the original but it had too many cheesy scenes

I think this Predator movie called Predators 2010 movie it's a prequel to Alien versus Predator 2004 movie it's months before the original Alien versus Predator 2004 movie events.
No iam pretty sure it’s not it’s not in that AVP universe it’s in the original predator universe timeline far after P1 and P2 because the army solder dutch Aka Arnold from The first predator movie gets mentioned by the solder sniper girl of how he beat the first predator by covering himself in the mud Which is a tactic that gets use again by the main character at the final battle of this movie
Ps I should also mention this movie also parallels the first movie by having the same music the first movie had at the beginning now at the end.
This was pretty Dark for a Predator Movie.

This was definitely one of the better Predator movies. Definitely better than everything post this movie. The only sin this movie commits is that it has a stellar start, but as soon as we actually see Predators, it devolves into your regular slasher killer. If only they kept this horror-in-paradise thematic thorought the movie, this potentially could've been nearly as good as the original Predator. They had a good cast, decently likable characters, awesome setting, a survivalist situation, it was awesome. But them having Predators ironically kind of ruined a Predator movie. And the end was really boring, obviously they wanted to remake the ending of the first movie, but they made it really boring, and the whole Noland plotpoint was also really pointless and boring.

Yall are both wrong. The writer and director of the newest predator film is Shane Black, who wrote the OG Predator and all of the best 80's action movies (original predator, lethal weapon movies, the last boy scout, etc.) and newer ones (like The Nice Guys, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, etc.). The studio meddled like a motherfucker with the movie and turned it into a piece of shit. Google it, FOX did a ton of reshoots and completely changed the 3rd act and some of act 2. Fred Dekker and Shane Black both have talked about it. I'm not saying his original script for it would've done a lot better, but he's got a really good track record of making great action flicks and he seems to give a shit about the franchise so I tend to believe him.

@@Shotokan1001 he was in the first predator as an actor, my mistake. Either way he's written a fuck ton of good action movies, and actually he's not a bad director. Kiss Kiss bang bang and The Nice Guys were both directed by SB, along with Iron Man 3, which isn't horrible, and the predator, which admittedly sucks but my other comment explains why it sucks. If you didn't like KKBB or the nice guys then I don't know what to tell you other than you must have a shit taste in movies.

That last hElP mE at 8:02 is bone chilling, as one of the characters you know he's either going to be dead or is already dead but just to make sure you put him out of his misery with a sniper bolt to the back, which would kill anyone but hearing that as you begin to walk away would be enough to send me blotting back to the others at full speed (safety in numbers)
