Damn 42 boats is a lot, they're not messing around
What most people don't know is that while the Navy is 18 ships strong, the Coast Guard actually has an excess of 200+ ships (albeit smaller ones). 42 is only about 20-25% of the fleet.

@@christopherwillson I suspect they're going to retire the super old ones though, the oldest are about 30 years old, so it's about time for a replacement before they fall apart.

See some of patrol boats does not have any MG turret gun. I feel that all the patrol boats should have a remote MG on it. Since our police coast guards are at the frontlines.

@@PrograError frontlines need proper equipment like MG mate. Imagine meeting hostiles/pirates with guns? In SG mainland police have guns too.
All Singapore coast guard officers are equipped with Mp5,M4A1 and a pistol

Well they dont need that since their water territories are really small compared to other countries, they just need a fast boat for those who try to escape.
