Fortunately for me, they played some classic songs as After Forever, Into the void , Children of the grave, but I miss Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Killing yourself to live, Under the sun, Wheels of Confusion and avoided Fairies wear boots, Dirty Women and Behind the wall of sleep.
Apparently they wanted to do "hole in the sky" and "symptom of the universe" but because ozzy wouldnt be able to stretch them high notes they didnt do them. Id personally prefer "back street kids" than them doing "dirty women"
yeah Dirty Women had to be played in a lower key because of Ozzy not being able to sing high anymore but regardless of the reason, they shouldn't have done it at all if they couldn't do it the right way.......i've always thought this way about Blue Oyster Cult playing Don't Fear The Reaper in the wrong key.....every BOC concert i've seen over the years have never played it in the key it was recorded in......In concert, Lynyrd Skynyrd NEVER played Freebird with the organ intro that's on the album....they always started the song on the piano in concert and i never liked that and i never figured out the reason why....
I'd like to thank all Eastern European migrant workers that have visited England over the centuries and contributed their culture enriching the soil and building a bedrock for peace and cooperation. Thank you. Brothers sisters we shall unite the world not by a flag but a culture to be proud of.
terrible song to start a concert with...they should have started the show with something up-beat....like Killing Yourself To Live....then, along about the middle of the show, slow it down some with this slow, draggy song....but initially, people want to rock out first....you don't wanna start the show trying to put people to sleep
Ozzy had a hard time singing “Killing Yourself To Live” even in the 70s. He would literally kill his voice if he tried to sing that song nowadays. “Black Sabbath” works fine enough for a concert opener, but I still think “Mob Rules” is the best opener for a show.
ATarPΔC I agree, but management wouldn’t let them since it’s a Dio-sabbath song, but maybe they could play an instrumental version, and then ozzy runs out on stage when it’s over, and the show properly begins.
Are you insane? Or trolling? It was the PERFECT song to start. That first chord slams and lets you know shits about to get REAL! Killing yourself to live as a starter? Really? Naw just no. Hell no!
The crowd singing along to the outro solo to warpigs was awesome
TONY was the monster.....for the entire tour!
Yessir 😁
@Jon Emerson what has happened to youtube comments. Multilayered scam messages
That drummer was killing it in War Pigs
but isnt bill ward not a view to a kill
I should have bought the most expensive VIP package . 4th row was great, but.....meeting Ozzy again would have made my year

what did the cymbals ever do to the drummer? :)
Like the ol' lady. They shine up well but they don't do much unless you slap them around a bit 🤣

That is the song that started it all. I think it's a fantastic choice

Give the guy a break! He's doing great for his age.
