hello Jimmy, i've bought the tail guard for my board and its great, i've installed like 3 months ago, and i had no problem at all, it's made from really good materials and the glue sticks forever, it's so thin and discrete you can even forget it's there, this product add incredible protection to the board, no complaints.
i have the Inboard M1, awesome electric longboard, and recently i got the bustin board DUALOMO, very fast, quiet and powerful and i can get around 20 miles +/- from it.
Good luck. After a Meepo and two Boosted boards, I sold it all for the Onewheel. Maybe you won't feel the same way. Cheers!
We'll see. It's interesting how my oldest son much prefers the Onewheel while my younger son loves the eSkate. I'll make a decision once I get some more experience on it.
OW is more nimble and fun with good amount of torque on low to medium speed, although there's no match compare to most eboard of speed and range. I owned like 10 E-skateboards (Exway X1 pro, Backfire/Meepo/ some other DIYs, E-MTB, Ebike , OW & EUC, I enjoyed EUC & OW the most, the only Eboard that feel unlike anything else is Trampa, off-road, speed, turning radius, grip and craving is unreal

Disadvantages compared to Onewheel:
- less nimble / worse turn radius
- smaller wheels can't tackle cracks as well
Advantages compared to Onewheel:
- Much more stable and predictable at higher speeds

To an extent yes. But you can jump over the crack to dampen the shock. One wheel doesn't have a suspension system yet.

And/or from simply dropping it while you're zipping along. Yikes. Can you imagine doing 25mph and butterfingering the remote and there goes your brakes! ;)
For a different experience I recommend a wowgo 3X or ownboard w2, basically one that has a flexy deck and a belt drive.
You should checkout out the fast charger, makes a HUGE difference
Nice choice for your first Electric skateboard. Thought they say the insides tend to be very similar at least it's one that has a reputation for being well constructed overall.
Welcome to the eskate community Mr Chang. I've loved all my e boards and their usability. I use my Boosted board V2 Dual plus XR as a short commuter and on campus as well as several other electric short boards in my arsenal. Watched your past video and yes electric vehicles have made me hate walking too. Going to rent a OW in San Diego soon. There all made for different things but people love electric vehicles regardless of what form it takes. The future is here. Ride on!

Apparently the lanyard is great for people that fall off their boards... So they can let go as they brace for the fall... but you wouldn't know anything about falling. 😉
Lol I like to push the limits, and yeah the controller for my AE board has taken a beating more than a few times.

Hey Jimmy! Love your vids. This was my first electric longboard as well, I was extremely impressed with the quality and features. The weight and range surprized me coming from the OW. I did not like the stiffness. I had to "re-train" my brain to use a remote which i'm still unsure about. I ended up selling it as I just didn't enjoy it as much as my OW, I felt very limited. The Exway was crazy fast once past the lockout, but I learned i'm not a "speed freak". With that said...I have a Summerboard and an EUC on their way haha.
My younger son is a speed freak, I think that's why he likes it.
Another great review, I've been pretty curious to try the Evolve Bamboo GTX.

"Nosedive" Yeah, found that today and not how I'd seen it found before on video. No worries though as I'm well versed in the Ninja roll. ~8^) Nice review Dr. J on what appears to be a nice board!
Watch out for cracks I started on esk8 got hurt alot (bad)due to bad pavement. It's why I switched to onewheel. Hitting a crack in pavement at any speed is a worse stoppage than a nose dive.
Little cracks in the pavement terrify me right now!

I see you're wearing the Bose soundwear around your neck the one I told you I was using when I go one Wheeling when you were doing your video about what kind sound device people use while riding their onewheel how do you like it?
So far so good! Hard to hear at high speeds or winds, but it's got the best sound while allowing me to hear my surroundings. Review to come. Thanks for the tip!

the stifness woul dmake me nervous, ever seen a cracked lithium battery, the reason you answered "no" is because you havent and are still alive. Serously, the fire created by a cracked casing and a comprimised cell on a 12 volt power tool batter was insane.
Will you do a range and speed test?
So many plans, so little time. I would love to. It may not be for awhile.
I have the belt driven and the wheel ones. If my battery dies should I keep the spare truck with wheels in it so I can push home still?? I love the belt. But don’t wanna get stuck I never used the other wheels yet.

I don't know if it's just me but, Jimmy, do you feel strain on your feet and legs after riding that e-board.
I know I do.
But it does get me to where I want fast.
This board I have is very fast even on second slowest mode.It's amazing but scary, luckily I have skated for years on regular boards but am a little rusty.I bike more and use e-scooters.
What do you think?, by the way great video and your channel is so cool!

Wow, you are very sharp. I just noticed that the other day while editing videos. I'm not sure why I Ride like that.when I play basketball I shoot with my right hand but when I dribble-drive I prefer going in with my left hand. I'm just a weirdo.
Jimmy Chang, I’m a fairy astute individual. I always pick up on things like that in movies too, when their phone is in a different hand from scene to scene and so forth. I guess it’s my type a personality that most Airline pilots have. Your latest video made me laugh. Since I’ve been watching your videos, I’ve acquired a:
Onewheel +, a pint, an Inmotion V8,
a Boosted Stealth and a Boosted mini. As a 48 yr old male, I found myself not getting out into the world enough. You’re videos have to inspired me to get off the chair and watching too much Netflix and enjoy these fantastic devices. Thanks for all the great videos.

The Onewheel will always be my first love, but we're not married so I think it's okay for me to see others while I wait for my actual Pint to come in. ;)
Very nice review, but can you tell how long would it take for a onewheel user without any skateboard experience to learn to use this exway.
Took me about a day and a half. Biggest thing is stopping using the remote. Instinctively, coming off the Onewheel, you want to lean back to get off. Other than that, it's not too bad and it's a lot of fun!

Tighten the trucks? Look way too loose out of the box.

Jimmy Chang Yeah, definitely tighten them if you haven’t. Once you get more comfortable and hit higher speeds, you’ll want them little tighter for stability. At least you know the board isn’t going to nosedive on you out of nowhere. Lol
@@freshlycharged I based it purely on the first few attempts you had. You seemed to fall off the board due to it being rather loose. The looser it is the more you will be able to maneuver, however the faster you go the more unstable you will become.

To be honest at this point getting a electric long board feels like going backwards

Skateboards never really appealed to me. I was bullied by kids that rode skateboards. But now that I've tried one, I can see why people like them.
