I Bought a Broken Bass Boat off Craigslist for $1500? Can we Restore it?!

Being a Father, I've learned one thing.... Your Time is LIMITED, so instead of fixing old headaches/projects - I bought another Headache.. & honestly I am very excited to see what I can achieve with this Weekend Warrior.
I purchased a Bass Tracker PT185 for the same amount I sold my jon boat for and im actually pumped on that. This boat is NOT PERFECT and for what we are doing with it, im okay with that. This Bass Tracker will be in shallow waters, rivers, and some brackish waters... so compared to an expensive new jon boat - I think this is the perfect start.

Have a 2000 PT 183... same motor with stress cracks down the V part of the hull. I'm ready to restore this one, doing all the work by myself except the welding. Thanks for sharing. Be blessed...

Be Blessed brother! With the keel (if you have issues) weld it, use epoxy resin inside and keep guard outside

1500 is a great start for a bass boat.. I got a 320v Ranger for 1500 and it was a blast 💥 then sold it for 2500 3 years later

Oh man, i fell into a wormhole with this. Been following @TinyboatNation Videos for years but never felt like i had the right hull to do it... now I think is the time haha Please keep me updated with your build as well. Do you have any minor imperfections after years of use too?

@@Flipzco The guy who had the boat before me had it docked in saltwater so I have a little corrosion to deal with. Also, there is a crack around he tow loop. I watch all of the Jon Boat restore channels too, LOL
