Thank you for the subtitles. I know it's additional work for you. Much appreciated!
I adore seeing your Mom so much. What a sweet lady she is. She reminds me of my own Mom who passed away in 2019 so watching your Mom always makes me smile and my heart happy. Kio tsukete 😊🇨🇦
I like your Mom's Honesty. I always buy an Onigiri or three on my travels.
Your mother is ADORABLE I love her!
Your mother is a star, Shinichi! I love to hear her opinions and see the relaxed, loving interaction between you. Also, knowing she has a hearty appetite and enjoys trying new things makes me smile. ❤❤
I love the way you two interact! That was so much rice!
Hi Shinichi and Mom, we love all the videos you make together! Also this way you and Mom can share her recipes with people all over the world ❤That's really special
Your mom is a UA-cam STAR! I always enjoy the videos where your mom is featured.
From California love to see your videos nice to see mom still hanging out in Japan 😍😍😍😍
Your mom is the dearest. I enjoy watching your interaction. I'm glad that she has a hearty appetite. ❤❤🥰

I love to watch videos with your mother. She's so beautiful. She makes me miss my own mother. Much love from Texas.
It's really nice to hear you speak Japanese,I hope you will speak it more often in your future videos.
How lovely to see your mother on this episode. 💕
Hi Mom good to see you thanks for sharing enjoy 😘😘❤️🤩🥰😍🌈💯🙏🌹🌹
Oh Shinichi, seeing your mom is so wonderful she is so sweet, I also really love rice and seeing all of these Onigiri is so wonderful I am sure that I would love trying all of these too. Thanks so much for this great video and also seeing your sweet mom, I am wishing you a beautiful and blessed weekend coming up, sending love and hugs, arigato, bye!! 😂🥰👋👍🙏🥢💜💜💜
How wonderful to see your Mother.
It's always wonderful to see your mom! Thank you for sharing your opinion on so many Onigiri!
So sweet!!!! I love all of the videos with your mom!! We are heading to Japan in June. Can’t wait to try all of the onigiri!!!!
Good to see your mom here again 🎉
The onigiri looked so delicious. It made me hungry. I enjoyed watching your videos. Hello from Arizona.
From the Magic Kingdom in Anaheim, California, I enjoyed your onigri test ! Thank you
Shinichi mother is so adorable. She's sweet and polite. These are wonderful videos with her. Love the subtitles, it makes it fun to listen in Japanese and read it in English. Blessings and good fortune to you all. Thank you mother for being here and sharing your family.
She's so lovely! Cheers from Argentina, I always enjoy watching your videos!
I haven't tried Onigiri so this was very interesting. I hope you both had fun 😁.
Enjoy videos with your Mother. Love seeing you both together. ❤
Love seeing your Mom. Hope she is doing better!
Your Mom is the best. Hearing you two converse in Nihongo is very comfortable. I have gluten allergy. Seems most combini onigiri isn't edible for me, looks like wakame and the shisoume are possible. Love these two anyway😊. Trying to work out how to not starve when finally visiting Japan. Your videos show I shouldn't visit my Grandmother's family as gluten warning labeling seems uncommon so it would burden them to have to feed me. This video was so much fun, feel like I got to try all the onigiri vicariously! Thank you for posting it🙏
Same as your sweet mom here, así think that ume onigiri never disappoints!
I was in Japan about a week ago and Lawson/7-11 were life savers.
7-11 cripsy chicken is amazing & The onigiri was a perfect breakfast (we were always on the move)
You’re mom is so cute!❤
All looks great! Wanna visit Japan so much!! Lovely place with good peoples on earth.
Your mom must miss Japan a lot. Luckily, she can visit periodically and have her son have her try out new things.
This was absolutely beautiful cherish every moment ❤
Love watching your mom try all the food. I sure wish we had nice food like that in our convenience stores in California!
I could watch you and your Mom try different foods all day long! 😍💜
Morning shinichi nice to see you back and your mam love her ❤❤❤❤
You two are so sweet ❤❤❤ We are returning now to Italy after 2 weeks in Japan and the last five nights we were in Tokyo, our hotel was right above a Lawson and I think I've reduced the ume onigiri stock by a significant amount since every morning 2 of them were my breakfast. I'm already missing the onigiri breakfast 😢
Love your mom! Could she do more cooking videos with you again?
She's like a New Woman! Being so present in the moment! I adore her. She is so wise!❤ ❤
It brings me so much happiness to see you and your mom, Shinichi, sharing food and experiences together! Thank you for making these videos for us! ❤
She sooooo kawaii with her "mhm mhm mhm!" 🫶 from Hawaii
I really love watching you and your Mom do these taste tests.
Everything looked so good! I love onigiri and I know I’d be hard pressed to pick a favourite but I’d certainly enjoy trying😁. Thank you, Shinichi, for sharing this little food adventure with your Mum. The one that contained burdock reminded me of her kinpira gobo recipe which I make regularly. It really is delicious and a kinpira gobo onigiri might be something to try making, perhaps in a future cooking video…food for thought🍙🤔…I’m certainly going to give it a try🙂👍!
Mom is so precious! 🌸 My favorites of your videos, are the ones when she joins you.
I do wish we had these in my state. I hear in Hawaii they have them so in my country it’s possible to find ongiri but if you want any in the Midwest you’ll have to make it at home. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this! Have a great day!
Super thanks for this video. I love trying items from convenience store and they keep coming up with new ones. 😊
Can your mom make onigiri ? That would make a nice video !
Best wishes from Florida USA !
So fun
Hi! First time leaving a comment though I've followed the channel for 5+ years. Thank you Shinichi for making such great videos. I don't know if I'll be able to travel anymore because my partner is very sick, but seeing you travel and enjoy the food and experiences is very enriching and so joyful. I also really love the recipe videos and taste test videos like this. I still use your butter mochi and pumpkin purin recipes! I'm learning Japanese again and love hearing you and your mother talk to each other. Sending lots of love from the southwest to you, your mom and Satoshi!!
I love that you started with one that isn’t your mum’s favourite. The tasting would be guaranteed to improve.
Hi Tabi & Tabi's Mum. It is so very lovely watching you review food together! I love the closeness of your relationship and the unspoken love that shines through in your interactions with each other
Glad to see mom liked them, look so tasty
I know is a smile detail but I really like your subtitle font: looks stylish and easy to read which is not always the case specially if you watch on a smaller screen
Thanks!
The onigiri here in germany where i live costs about 3€ per piece. Which is like 3.20$. It's wild how expensive they are here compared to Japan. They treat it as some sort of super exotic thing but they really are just rice, some chicken and nori. I wish i could just get one for a reasonable price but i really have to make em myself because i ain't got that kinda change for a little snack lol
it seems so fun to do a sampling like this! And your mom seems to enjoy it so much ~
What a nice variety can't wait to try them myself. Surprisingly wakame looked delicious
Omg your mom is so cute 😍 ❤ I just want to hug her!
I love seeing you with your Mom. And Mom keeps it Real. If it's not good She will say so. And put put it Down on that plate Quick.. 😂
I watched this with my own mom! What a lovely video. I'm going to have to break down and make my own onigiri since I can't get them here.
I’m loving your videos!
7-Eleven, and now Lawson, here's to seeing the FamilyMart onigiri taste test soon
Great review! Your Mom is so pretty. Thank you for a great video.
So much mom content on this visit! We are blessed! ☺️🩷
Please make more videos with your mom, Love watching her ;) Already seen the Seven Eleven one. Take care!!!!!!
I love these videos. :)
Everything looked good! I probably would choose the beef due to the flavour profile. What a surprise #1 choice from your mum specially as she looked so skeptical when you brought it out 😄 It's so nice seeing both of trying stuffs and bonding. ❤❤ p/s: she looks great! As usual.
Hi Mom!! Delicious food! Handsome son! Happy USA Mothers Day!!
Thank you so much
お母さんへのご挨拶 ,love your Mom🙏🏻🙏🏻🇮🇳
I'm travelling to Japan tomorrow , so I will keep an eye on the veggie Onigiris for Sure.I would very much appreciate it if you could incorporate more vegetarian options(also Ramen for example)though I know that's often Touch in Japan😅Thanks a lot for your work!
Awesome video.
The biggest question is what happens to the left overs because I don't think you can finish all of them in one sitting. If anything refrigerate and fried rice the next day
That’s exactly what we do
Nice one, thanks.:)
Here in USA,there are only a few Lawson’s left,and I mean less than 10!!
BUT,Here in Ohio, you can still get Lawson’s chip dip!!!
It is legendary.
It has a cult following,in fact,I know someone who has a tattoo of a container of Lawson’s chip dip🤣
It’s incredible on a baked potato!
あなたのお母さんはとてもかわいいです~
ハラミ is my favorite from Lawson.
Onigiri looks soooo delicious!!! There is no place in my area that sells onigiri. If I had a marathon onigiri making session, how long could I expect the onigiri to last if well wrapped?
I really thought your mother would choose plum as her number one, as she almost ate her whole piece. I think this time I'm most interested in the shigure onigiri. I love shigure-ni but sometimes they put too much ginger in it and it becomes overpowering especially cold. and the simple plum one would also be for me.
I loved the video...I'm just not adventurous when it comes to tarako or fish eggs...I do miss some good onigiris!! I don't always remember, I do know you always talk to your mom in Japanese, but she lives in HI. She speaks English too, right?!
So bad here in Chile I can't taste those varieties of onigiris😢
💛...
...and, a happy boys' day...
Oh Aye aye you have a plate full of rice now...
❤
🖖🍙🖖
Do daily yamazaki next
Your mother takes such tiny tastes of things---she must be a bit worried about what things will taste like. Very discerning, it seems! She is a good sport to take part in your videos, from cooking to touring to taste-testing!
Why do you add "dear" to her subtitles when she's not saying that?
LoL, not the best but they are ok.
I kind of get it, but man yall like rice
here in the u.s. those would be $10 each
