We stayed at Grand Chariot, a luxury hotel located on Awaji Island in Hyogo prefecture. Awaji Island is located just a 30-minute drive away from Kobe. They have three different anime-themed rooms. We decided to try the Crayon Shinchan room. Each room is a huge villa that includes living room, walk-in closet, separate bedroom, bathroom and terrace. Upon entering, you are greeted with a fresh fruit platter, and everything in the mini-fridge, coffeess, tea, and cookies are complimentary. All room rates come with a deluxe dinner and full Japanese breakfast.

We have a Japanese marketplace in my town (Columbus, Ohio) and their culture center had a ceramics sale this weekend. I bought three pieces but wanted so much more 🥰 I am also a ceramics lover. Last year I bought two pieces at their ceramics sale 😂

Kawaiiiii! Hontoni kawaiiiii! My first thought was……where are the children? The menu, both dinner and breakfast, was definitely not geared towards kids. The dinner looked so delicious, but your breakfast! OMGEEE! Absolutely amazing!! Brother Satoshi in your pajamas! KAWAIIIII! Thank you for taking us along on this very fun trip, where adults can be kids again. ❤

Since Satoshi is such an adorable big kid, I was surprised he didn't sleep in the bunk bed!
What fun!! You're not kidding that the Crayon Shinchan room is kawaii! But, _nothing_ could be more kawaii than Satoshi in those PJs. 😄🥰 All the food was beautifully presented and looked delicious. I was happy to see all the local vegetables, rice, and fresh tofu. That Awaji beef and uni together look like the ultimate surf and turf. Thank you for letting us share your stay at Grand Chariot. Awaji Island is gorgeous. 💜💜

That room was so neat. Dinner looked wonderful. But I love the breakfast. Something about the box with 9 little dishes. It's like a private mini buffet. And a view of Godzilla!!
The room is amazing. Perhaps I would go for a different themed room. amd almost too bad that the characters on the window take away the view.
The hotel looks like it would be great fun for kids, even us old kids! But, was that mildew (mold) in and around the tub? Not very luxurious.
