In this video we will show you how to remove and replace oxygen sensor BANK 1 Sensor 1 on BMW E90 E92 E91 E93. We demonstrated on 2006 BMW 325i with 6 cylinder engine but the 4 cylinder might be very close to this procedure as well. This might be even helpful on the diesel engines. E93 is totally different the lamda sonds are more difficult To reach because they are almost at the bottom

Thank you for the video!! I just tried replacing my sensors but for some reason my car is now stuck in lip mode and showing error P1056. Would you know why this would be happening?

I cleaned out my secondary air pump port and it was bad I imagine all the fluid and gunk that was in there corroded my sensor up I get many misfire now I checked live data and the voltage for that sensor does not budge from 0.01v and other do fluctuate when on I imagine this is the root to my evil doesn’t give codes only says misfires in all cylinders I also replaced bad ccv valve and cleaned manifold out from oil getting into I cleaned and took apart and tested disavalves only concerns is when I unplugged throttle body connector it seperated I only get bad misfire when I go beyond 4k rpm
After changing my bank 2 oxygen sensor my 07 e92 n52 has a misfire and bad start. I need help car was fine until i change the sensor

Your sensor is angled very differently to mine. Yours is facing upwards almost, making it very easy to use the tool on it, mine is angled to the side much more, and so it's very hard to access.
What car do you have? I have an E92, and I'm not sure this will be possible from the top at all, maybe, with a UJ on my ratchet.

I have e90 2006 320i benzine.. it show me o2 bank 1 and bank 2 ( sensor 2 ) both sensors after catalyst with bad circuit slow responds. The bank 1 sensor 2 is working good when i see the real time volt graph. But bank 2 sensor 2 is still stuck at 0V so there is no electricity at all. The sensor it self is new and working perfectly. Any one can help me with this ??

Great videos guys! I've been watching for many years now. However. You say at the beginning of the video that a lot about the different E9X 3Series cars is the same. But this particular item is very much not the same between the different 3 Series E9X cars. If you have the turbo'd N54 or N55 engine then getting to these Sensors is very intimidating to do on our own. I will be replacing all 4 sensors in a week and I was hoping to get some insight into this but this model car has nothing in the way beside the manifold like a twin turbo'd car would so it's really not much use to me. Thank you for the videos and help over the years though as you have been a help in other areas for sure! All blessings to you and yours!

People that own these vehicles can afford to take them to the shop. I need an O2 sensor change video for a 2013 X1 E84. I don't have a job anymore and cannot afford 3k every year in repair costs.
Watch youtube videos buy tools do the job yourself bmws are very easy to fix i fix mines off of youtube never been to mechanic yet and had the car for three years now.

If you read my comment you can see that I was in search of a video as you suggest because this video does not cover my BMW and I cannot find a video that does. I sold my BMW for a more reliable and less maintenance intensive vehicle. I no longer have to worry about major repairs every year like my previous BMWs. Thanks!
