Well inside of a live service or mmo the drop rates have to be slow to keep players playing for those rewards. We did have a safe holiday and hope you had a great week.
I was able to snag the whole set within 30 raids, not the plans however so i still gotta grind those lol. Got 3 of the unique weapons as well, missing the Resolve Breaker and the Flatliner, its a fun raid imo.
Union Carry Weight and Poison Resist is HARD to beat. The Vulcan is just a slightly better t-65 Not gonna grind it. I wish they’d add some of those new mods to the old power armors … but even with that… Vulcan is a 7/10 at best
@ it’s not 2000 stamps 💀 it’s around 720 ish (Not including jet pack) it’s not a grind if it’s a guaranteed reward. The Vulcan needs a 4 man party and reward isn’t guaranteed. (Much harder content) trust when I say doing a 8-10 minute solo expedition is really easy then looking for a 4 man team and doing endgame content. It only took me a few weeks working a full time job to get it. If you still don’t have it (after years of playing) then you just don’t want it lol
Tbh the only appeal of the vulkan power armor to me is flex to the world that I have survived the raid, but we have custom nicknames now and very cool statues
@@ElectricheadPt1 t-65 is trash. Strangler heart, union, hellcat, and Vulcan are all better. Damage resistance numbers mean little to nothing. Watch a video on it if you don’t believe me.
I did my first raid yesterday and wow that gleaming depth is one tough cookie. Kinda nice they gave us something to get better at. Have 3 4 star vulcan pcs. From the raids i am strictly vats build so this set is worth the grind for me.
I don't know what players they're aiming for to create grinding bits of the game,but it ain't me.... Semi retired so most days are spent playing . Wish they'd fix it
So in MMO/live service games the point is to keep players engaged and I can see why they have it structured the way they do but I can understand where players are coming from with feeling the grind to be excessive. I am glad it isn't as bad as WoW and other game drop chances at times.
I consistently get repeat plans for pieces and mods. I've received every color headlamp 5Xs over. I would have had all the plans about 2 weeks ago if they did not repeat drop.
Yeah it isn't really supposed to duplicate until you finish one of the list but I heard from a lot of folks that it had happened. I know I got 6 canteen plans at one point doing raids.
Btw, its not something many people know right now, but you cant put glutton two star mod on vulcan power armour. Its for normal armour. But when grinding rewards i have found that rarely a piece of vulcan power armour will show up with glutton on it. Thirst and hunger reduced by 10%
@Fargassier I'm sure it was unintentional but this is why it's going on to be a legacy item. I've already got nearly a full set. Upon further investigation, I've learned you used to be able to put glutton on but now they switched it to normal armour. Many are speculating that they did this intentionally or if not then it's gonna be patched. But only time will tell really
I think it’s a solid set 25% ap regen is the same as every 2nd star being powered (5% faster ap regen) but the 2nd star is still freed up so you can add hardy, endurance, or any other damage resist 2nd star legendary as well as any 3rd and now we have 4 stars it’s technically like having 5 star armor and it’s got other bonuses like the mods for accuracy and the fusion core duration not game breaking but the other power armors don’t have it also I’ve already gotten most of the plans for it just need the calibrated shocks to be able to use it personally
The ap refresh rate is not 25% more like 5%, you will definitely still want powered mod on your vulcan, I dont know if the new power armor is bugged or what cause it is really trash, dont waste your mods on it
Hello @Fargassier ! My vulcan armor is bugged, my ap regeneration does not work and I have the impression that the increased duration of the fusion reactor also Does this happen to you too and if so, how to avoid it?
I haven't noticed that problem when I was wearing it but I would def. send in a support ticket to see if they are aware of the issue. 🤘I will do some testing to see if it happens to me as well.

Appreciated, I am a hoarder, can't resist collecting every bit of junk, even though I don't need it, love the crematorium but takes too many shots to kill certain enemies and unsure how to improve it and simple buffs to get those points up for the season rather than completing it near the end and not getting atoms/perk points etc..
@@trigster23 Do you have Fallout 1st for the junk? What about a holy fire build? I have done one of those on the channel and honestly they share similar cards as the creamator. As far as buffs you want to utilize any food that would boost your intellect like brain bombs or scorchedbeast brain to increase the xp you get as well as lunchboxes.
I have fallout 1, don't need to collect junk I just have to..lol, never have enough to make flame fuel, will have a loon at the holy fire build, I mostly eat meat so I get carrying buffs
I’m not a PA user but I’ll probably keep a set solely so I can use a heavy weapon and get that 50% reduced bullet spread. I also don’t use vats so the 4 star weapon mod for increased weakpoint damage will be riding with me. Accuracy and weakpoint damage with solid defenses. Slap some raider skins on it and I’m happy

I can see that being something that folks would rather have and then offer it for gold bullion or tickets afterwards. I think they would've if we had a new currency for raids.
AP regen also good for automelee, but I don't think this worth that because ballistic resistance just a little lesser than T65 - 5 points don't make much differences. Although I live the idea of 600 energy resist, still I don't like low radiation resist. And let's remember that wearing any PA decrease max weight capability (backpacks) with requires legs modification that need to be grinded (at this moment I grind for second T65 leg modification). Probably i would change my Equalizer T-65 (yes, I want to be Frank Horrigan) to Vulcan one, but muuuuch later. I don't think I'm ready for raids for now... especially if this requires that many time.
All power armors come with a 90% rad reduction as a passive on it's own and this new power armor alone is worth it for it's new mods that reduces pellet spread so you become wah more accurate and it's a huge difference. The T-65 is still great only unfortunate part is that the T-65 doesn't have a single set bonus which makes me not wanna use it over something like union or in this case the vulcan because of all the bonuses it gives. The raid can be challenging yes but it's worth it I got the whole set now and it was worth every minute in the raid.

Honestly anyone that you see on the list will be a good pickup for you. I might do Union since you will be close up but that is only for if they have the poison aura.
I would still go for vulcan for the sheer fact that it has a mod that makes your pellets spread way less, the gimbal bracers that no other power armor has and trust me it's a huge difference because I tried it in game.
If you Inspect your auto axe and press the repair button it gives you the option to use a repair kit. You can get repair kits from the atom shop, season scoreboard and boss events.
I need to make a new tips video but that is something I have mentioned in previous tips videos and a short but if you access your favorites wheel you can then repair from it by looking at the bottom of the screen and pressing the examine button and then the repair button. That way you can utilize those repair kits🤘
Once you learn all of the plans for the armor and the mods for the new set it should give you duplicates but until then I haven't heard of anyone else getting duplicates.
@@Fargassier It starts giving duplicates before then, every weapon plan can be duplicates after you learnt that weapon and the vulcan power armor starts dropping duplicates after you learnt the armor, I have learnt the whole armor and quite a few of the mods but far from all and its already giving duplicate power armor plans, just not mods until all mods are learnt most likely.
1:30 yeah... that's bs. I got multiple repeated plans for the power armor pieces. Which is even worse because you can't even drop it for your friends, it just gets destroyed.

I don't see the raids being a waste of time since we are getting a good shot at plans and 4 star legendary gear. This is an MMO/live service game so the long grind time is because of keeping playtime up so I can understand why they did it this way.

Honestly I don’t think it is worth it. First I had to grid for the Strangler Heart, which mods are imposible to get. Then it gets nerfed. I get that rebalancing is needed in games but when you spend countless hours to get your perfect set it kinda sucks

Too bad it still gives duplicate armor pieces :( Plus I can not do the raids because I am so bad they drop me because I die a lot because I have such a lousy build I assume I am level 1180 but still have limited perk cards and just 1 star in my heavy gunners. Just because I play a lot does not mean I am any good I do try tho.... Maybe my age has something to do with it also I am 69 years old. Anyone know why I die so often when I see videos of same pa I use and they stay alive? Is it the chems cause I am in the dark when making them or which ones I need to stay alive.

I understand what you are saying about the mmo/live service game, but this grind is too long for me, plus the time it takes to get the resources to do the raid on top of this. It's just not fun to play.
I can def. understand that mentality and I am sorry that you don't enjoy playing it because of the grind. I would just slowly earn the drops over time and not try to rush it so you don't burn yourself out.
The raids are pretty bad lot of enemies are to much of a tank stage 2 is bad bc some mole mine hit u die instant feel like this whole raid thing need a debuff and maybe if u die u spawn back in not redo the whole thing did if team die would be better in my personal opinion tried of redo it all over again if team die
The raids are meant to be very hard and I can only see them getting harder in the future. We do get to start the stage over if the team wipes but I can see where players would like to have at least one revive before the wipe.

It's supposed to be hard my guy. If this was wow it would be equivalent to Molten core back in the day. Its end game stuff, and if/when they add more raids, their only going to be harder, most likely requiring you to get the 4star gear from this one yo even be able to do the next one.
1 month and raids are boring just like expeditions, new public events in fallout style with new camp items new enemies where everyone can participate would have been better, with raids you need a good group or for fallout it's too hard I think.
The raids have been out for a few days bud. I think the more people do them the more familiar they will become with it. I can see us getting more raids and harder ones at that.
@Fargassier my friend said he put a mutated (prefix/suffix) title in his vendor. I still haven't hopped back on so idk. Seems like something bethesda would do without saying.

@@Fargassier I'm from a perspective of a casual player. Playing with random people. There is no way i will farm 1000+ instances with those groups. Run a few, it was fun, for like 3-4 runs, but that’s it. It's too much rng, they should have implemented some kind of currency system (like in WoW in the old days, the emblems you got from the dungeons/instances), so, for example, the XY mod would cost you 150 emblems, for a full raid run you would give some amount. You could tweak the system so you can't buy everything, like the base item plans etc., you got the idea. I've been playing fallout 76 since it came out, with a few months off here and there, and i still don’t have every prime receiver from the Queen, and i can't even count how many times I’ve killed it when it was the "endgame" content.

So, to get all the pieces and mods, given normal luck I will need about 800 successful raid sections completed. I think I will pass.

T-65 seems like it’s still the best all around set to me. Not that invested in unlocking this one, I’ll just get it as it comes.

Idk about living inside of vats, I used all the mods I can to reduce the cost and such and I still went through 44 PA cores in the raid sadly

Your wrong about the getting duplicate armor plans i only have the helmet and torso plans but i have gotten 3 helmet plans
Even after you learn it? From the reports from Duchess and many people on the PTS you shouldn't be getting duplicate plans once learned.

I wish you got all of it at once. With the Union Power Armor, I only have the torso and legs, wich is very awkward and a bit annoying.

No, the raid is a waste of time. My T65 does all I need and the time to get that set is f'ing insane.

I came back in 2022 and been loving it. I started at launch and took a break.
It needs a +50 carry weight set bonus.
That would be amazing if it had extra carry weight.
Even a +25 carry capacity buff would be nice. It would also match well with the other +25 bonuses...
Id consider this armor for the arm mods that increase accuracy when firing, itd make my Gatling Plasma an absolute beam

Honestly I don’t think it is worth it. First I had to grid for the Strangler Heart, which mods are imposible to get. Then it gets nerfed. I get that rebalancing is needed in games but when you spend countless hours to get your perfect set it kinda sucks
I can def. understand how that would make you not want to grind for the new set of armor. I am not rushing on unlocking it but I am enjoying the Raids.

I run a mod that shows my health bar segmented and one that shows the enemies health under their name 🤘
Too bad it still gives duplicate armor pieces :( Plus I can not do the raids because I am so bad they drop me because I die a lot because I have such a lousy build I assume I am level 1180 but still have limited perk cards and just 1 star in my heavy gunners. Just because I play a lot does not mean I am any good I do try tho.... Maybe my age has something to do with it also I am 69 years old. Anyone know why I die so often when I see videos of same pa I use and they stay alive? Is it the chems cause I am in the dark when making them or which ones I need to stay alive.
Well the armor pieces are able to get duplicates but the plans shouldn't be giving duplicates but I have heard of folks getting duplicate plans.
Still without a Vulcan helmet drop.. been days.

Got the full set in a couple of hours. My luck is at 14. Dunno if they had anything to do with the drops or not 🤷🏻♂️

I understand what you are saying about the mmo/live service game, but this grind is too long for me, plus the time it takes to get the resources to do the raid on top of this. It's just not fun to play.
I can def. understand that mentality and I am sorry that you don't enjoy playing it because of the grind. I would just slowly earn the drops over time and not try to rush it so you don't burn yourself out.

The raids are pretty bad lot of enemies are to much of a tank stage 2 is bad bc some mole mine hit u die instant feel like this whole raid thing need a debuff and maybe if u die u spawn back in not redo the whole thing did if team die would be better in my personal opinion tried of redo it all over again if team die
The raids are meant to be very hard and I can only see them getting harder in the future. We do get to start the stage over if the team wipes but I can see where players would like to have at least one revive before the wipe.
@@luckyotaku4002 i feel like thats the point tho, or else it would be super easy and not feel like a stage, they are easy to avoid too. Honestly the easiest stage imo

It's supposed to be hard my guy. If this was wow it would be equivalent to Molten core back in the day. Its end game stuff, and if/when they add more raids, their only going to be harder, most likely requiring you to get the 4star gear from this one yo even be able to do the next one.

@Fargassier i have all but the head. Pretty good for 1 day. Not to mention i also got all the new weapons except the fist an sword.
1 month and raids are boring just like expeditions, new public events in fallout style with new camp items new enemies where everyone can participate would have been better, with raids you need a good group or for fallout it's too hard I think.
The raids have been out for a few days bud. I think the more people do them the more familiar they will become with it. I can see us getting more raids and harder ones at that.

I could see that being a thing in the future but right now they want folks to run the raids so that is why it is untradeable.

@Fargassier my friend said he put a mutated (prefix/suffix) title in his vendor. I still haven't hopped back on so idk. Seems like something bethesda would do without saying.
@@seanpelletier I've never seen the title come from a piece of paper but maybe they put a serum in their vendor and someone could get that title from taking a serum.
@Fargassier idk, he said he got it directly from a mutated party pack and already learned it, so he put it in his vendor instead.

As shown on the video the T65 still has the better resistance but I personally like my Union for resistance and added benefits.

@@Fargassier I'm from a perspective of a casual player. Playing with random people. There is no way i will farm 1000+ instances with those groups. Run a few, it was fun, for like 3-4 runs, but that’s it. It's too much rng, they should have implemented some kind of currency system (like in WoW in the old days, the emblems you got from the dungeons/instances), so, for example, the XY mod would cost you 150 emblems, for a full raid run you would give some amount. You could tweak the system so you can't buy everything, like the base item plans etc., you got the idea. I've been playing fallout 76 since it came out, with a few months off here and there, and i still don’t have every prime receiver from the Queen, and i can't even count how many times I’ve killed it when it was the "endgame" content.

I’m not a PA user but I’ll probably keep a set solely so I can use a heavy weapon and get that 50% reduced bullet spread. I also don’t use vats so the 4 star weapon mod for increased weakpoint damage will be riding with me. Accuracy and weakpoint damage with solid defenses. Slap some raider skins on it and I’m happy
I am very excited to see how the new suit feels. I will hopefully be able to run some raids tomorrow. 🤘
