I read that the guys loved this part of the show because the pressure was gone and they were relaxed and having fun. You can really see it. So glad you're back with some QUEEN :)
Set List: Lucille (Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard), Jailhouse Rock (Elvis), Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting (Elton John), Be Bop A Lula (Gene Vincent). This Rock and Roll set was the encore. Queen ends with God Save The Queen at every Queen concert.
This is why people love ‘70s Queen live. This is a few thousand seat theater. It’s fun to see them on a smaller stage, they interacted a lot more bc of it. Shows like this left you pretty deaf for at least a day. And Freddie sneaks off camera to strip. 🤪🤪 Deaky rocks... Fun reaction. 😎
I love Queen’s rock medleys .... check out Wembley’s 1986 rock n roll medley with Elvis, Ricky Nelson, & Little Richard and a rendition of Gimme Gimme Some Lovin’. Queen are Kings of the covers!! Love Freddie’s bling outfit! OMG! 😍 Queen & Elton were good friends & their record label was EMI same as Elton’s. Loved this reaction!! PLEASE DO MORE QUEEN 👑👑
Debra...”Gimme Some Loving”” is a song from the brilliant band Spencer Davis...their singer, Stevie Winwood was only 17 years old singing songs like that..check them out on UA-cam🤩
Look at 'Wembly 1986 #13 (You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care. There are 3 songs of old time rock and roll that are amazing! To see Freddie running full out singing is unbelievable. And you get to see the full double decked stage and lighting called by the band the 'pizza oven'.
I "lost" all my channels and my subs when I got a new computer and just "refound" you! Freddie looked offstage to Elton John, knowing he was getting ready to sing "Saturday Nights Alright", by Elton John and inviting HIM to do it instead! Very cool!
Thrilled to see you reacting to this ... first person I've seen do so. It's an amazing, amazing medley. That said, it wasn't starting the show, it was the finale.
Amazing reaction!! It would be great if you reacted to their Rock N’ Roll Medley from Wembley 1986!! Their covers were just so good, and there’s some band interaction as well, it’s crazy how in sync they were!
That's how they communicate on stage they look at each other, and keep an eye on the movement of Freddie at the front, too say make it longer, shorter,go too something else etc
Woewwwiieee, yes!! Loved your reaction to this vid. What a show 🎉 Hope to see more Queen. I really suggest Fatbottemed girls live at the Bowl or Now i'm Here live at Wembley. Much bless dear ❤
Loved your reaction!!!!! Thanks for pointing out all those "moments" of the band members communicating with one another mid-performance, deciding what songs to do and for how long, they are improvising together. Amazing. Few bands go on knowing they will improvise and decide what to play and for how long once they see how the audience is feeling about it!
Thanks for this! Love it! The end song is "God Save the Queen"- They sometimes ended their concerts with this song (instruments only). I don't think it was to be patriotic but because it fits since their name is Queen.
A huge thank you for this, I always love seeing the rock n roll medleys. Part of the band's stage set since the early days and usually closed everything up - 'God Save The Queen' signaled the end of the show. It was the only time you'll find the boys doing covers. Perhaps you might like to check out the medley from Wembley '86 for comparison, high octane and the four of them plus Spike just having so much fun.
wowowowo i never saw this video i saw a clip only from this outfit that freddie dive on the floor and i was lookin which concert was that . wooow thanks you react to this i love this medley freddie is so fabulous, freddie always surprise me. i believe WWRY and WATC haven’t born this that time yet so this was their closing song.
ARROWSMITH and several others have varieties of this one piece leotard outfit. He wore this outfit with his Royal Ballet performance. Check out Kiss official video of I Was Made For Livin You Queen's energy level is without compare, keeping in mind that this is the encore at the end of a full concert.. That is when they would play older artists ' rock and roll hits from the past. They would sometimes have to guess as to what Freddie would sing next in the encore numbers and catch up quickly. He is repeating Saturday where you said you didn't know what he was saying
Freddie saw Elton John in the Audience, that is why he started playing & singing Saturday, Saturday on the piano . If u notice he nods to him in the audience and then starts on the Piano. Fabulous, thankyou...Ros
Yeah! QUEEN!!! Great reaction and what a show! :D Btw: if you want to see more of a good interaction with the band you should watch more Prince. I'm always amazed how he "spoke" with his musicians! For example: ua-cam.com/video/tXiLzAw9dSQ/v-deo.html
Brain Rodgers John and freddie killed it. Queen could do it all. Freddie has such swag. He was born a rock god!! R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU P.S KEEP GOING DOWN THE QUEEN RABBIT HOLE. EVERYTIME YOU THINK QUEEN CANT GET ANY BETTER THEY DO!
I gasp at Freddie's speed throughout. Supersonic. I don't even wish to consider natural or enhanced as he makes his way. I see a difference btwn Elton and Freddie with the theatrical bling outfits - Elton was always larger than life/exaggerated for fun whereas Freddie seemed to draw upon his other not so secret love, ballet...audaciously, darling.
Yes, Freddie's outfits was never really that over the top. Queen were not really a Glam rock band. Elton John is also known as Glam rock adjacent. Glam rock was really David Bowie, Sweet, Mud, Roxy Music, Slade ext. ext.
No…Freddie was pointing at Elton John in the audience…Freddie is playing one of Elton’s songs “Saturday night’s alright for fighting”….I think that’s what it’s called?
I love your reaction to Queen every time. This was an amazing performance ending with the audience singing "God save the Queen" although the people filming weren't set up to record the audience until much later in Queen's career. I'd love you to react to Seaside Rendezvous (the Night at the Opera 30th Anniversary, 2005 version) Great fun!! Another overlooked just for fun song is Good Company on the same album.
Derrick something really funny. Remember you reacted to a song...... If your gonna go through it don't come. I forgot the name Anyway I just saw a Roger Talor interview and IT'S HIS SONG. HE WROTE IT. !!! ❤I just watched the interview again and I apologize for my mistake. I dont know why he had it on his interview. I mistook it.
They shoud release this show on cd and dvd, as they did with another earlier shows, they were FIRE on all those years!!! Only 4 guys and they sound INCREDIBLE!!! Love this reaction Dereck, never saw nobody react to this!!!! Love it!!!!!
They play god save the Queen Or my country this of thee at the end of their concerts The music is the same song for both countries but the words are different.
Is this London? I read that at the beginning of Saturday Night..Freddie is motioning for Elton John to come and take the piano..lol.does anyone know if this is true. It looks like he may have been doing that. The 'I got you 'Could have been to Elton!Saturday Night IS an Elton John song!
They’re just jamming and doing.covers. Elton John’s Saturday nights alright. Elvis jailhouse rock. Etc. just trying to end I then decides to do be bop a a loola cover of Gene Vincent.
Not really, it is just a medley of old rock 'n roll numbers. Queen actually had a song that was somewhat similar Rock 'n Roll. Queen had Modern Times Rock 'n Roll ua-cam.com/video/NxjF1QFlYak/v-deo.html.
Love Queen! They seem to have such fun together. All geniuses. ❤
Elvis NEVER did Jailhouse Rock this fast!! Killer!! And THANK YOU so much for recognizing John Deacon. He is always overlooked and under rated.
Great reaction. John master at bass!
I read that the guys loved this part of the show because the pressure was gone and they were relaxed and having fun. You can really see it. So glad you're back with some QUEEN :)

The best rock performance ever!!! 👑👑👑
Thanks for finding this video….FANTASTIC! I have never seen this before, either. Fun Fun!!! Loved your reaction!
Thrilled to see you reacting to this ... first person I've seen do so. It's an amazing, amazing medley. That said, it wasn't starting the show, it was the finale.
This was the ENCORE not the beginning of the concert! This is the energy beginning to end!
They’re singing SATURDAY NIGHT’S ALRIGHT by Elton John!! Great song! The end is GOD SAVE THE QUEEN. It’s always played at the end of their concerts!
Supposedly, Elton was in the wings and Freddie was signaling him to come and play the piano for his hit “Saturday “ - but he wouldn’t - -
Btw Queen ended with God Save The Queen. At Wembley Freddie wore an ermine robe and crown. 😊
Hey Dereck, Another One Bites the Dust live @Wembley is a must for react :), keep doing this Queen reactions 😄🔥
Yes please do more Queen
Amazing reaction!! It would be great if you reacted to their Rock N’ Roll Medley from Wembley 1986!! Their covers were just so good, and there’s some band interaction as well, it’s crazy how in sync they were!
Freddie and Elton were friends. Freddie was known as Melina, Elton was Sharon Roger was Liz.
Yes, and Brian was Maggie. Freddie deemed John too macho to get on - Ha!. Tender bond between those two.
@@LMTino John was Belinda.
@@ZENOBlAmusic Drat, there goes another legendary myth, but I can see Belinda does suit him. Sweet, thx!
Dying happy- right nowwwww

Thanks for this! Love it! The end song is "God Save the Queen"- They sometimes ended their concerts with this song (instruments only). I don't think it was to be patriotic but because it fits since their name is Queen.
It's also from their album 'A night at the opera'
Yes they actually recorded a version Brian wrote/arranged.
A huge thank you for this, I always love seeing the rock n roll medleys. Glam rock look. One piece was called a cat suit at that time.

It's the last encore, not the beginning of the concert. :P
And they sound fabulous at the end!
Freddy was 31 years old in 1977. He look 25 on the video IMHO. Maybe this is related to his hair-style of the time.
Oh and really great reaction!
Freddie saw Elton John in the Audience, that is why he started playing & singing Saturday, Saturday on the piano . If u notice he nods to him in the audience and then starts on the Piano. Fabulous, thankyou...Ros

@@ZENOBlAmusic Queen were glam from 1971 to 75, then they toned it down. They were absolutely glam in the beginning, though.

Freddie’s one piece is modelled after the ballet dancer Nijinsky’s one piece….Nijinsky was a star ballet dancer🤩
Trying to remember if it was at earls court London as been to 77 and 79
BB King’s “Lucille”! 🔥 Elvis’s “Jailhouse Rock”! 🔥 Elton John’s “Saturday Night’s Alright”! 🔥🔥
I though lucile was little Richard
@@thedylanbowen Oops, my bad. You’re correct it was Little Richard. Thank you. ❤️
@@damnitjanet9450 i also thought it (Lucille) was the Beatles🤗
The cover of Elton's song was done by Fred, & Roger. That was not Fred's voice alone.
Hi my favourite from Freddie is i was born to love you please do a reaction to this .)))
That was the encore
