UI Stead Family Children's Hospital 2022 Kid Captain: Carver Meiners

Carver was born with a rare heart condition in which the heart’s two main arteries are reversed, causing a lack of oxygen-rich blood getting to the rest of the body. He underwent a heart procedure when he was a few days old to help improve proper blood flow to help prepare him for heart surgery a few days later.
