Found this oldie but a goodie multi species video. Excellent fall action, loved the pike at the end. How far your company has come Ethan. Blessings brother
I accidentally hit send...sorry...what a meatball! I’d catch Rockies all day w/ 6’ ultra light rod/reel combo...land of the Rockos...heck yeah! You got a beauty! Aww sally wanted to dance! Susan wanted in on the dance too! Croppie! My favorite! Awesome video! Great job ! I appreciate you man! BABAAM!!
Wow I've never seen a rockbass in a lake down here in NW AL. I do catch a lot of them in the summer time wading creeks though and they are fun as heck on an ultralight. 👍👊
Yeah I should have tried. That is, if I had any idea what I am doing for walleyes haha But yeah this is always a good lake to me. Huge populations of all species it seems like. Hopefully I will return and catch a Bowfin in the future!
Ethan, I'm going to go out on a limb here. I suspect that if you used the mule fishing name as part of the title of your youtube channel then the subscription rate would shoot through the roof. Some people may not instantly associate mule fishing with Online Outdoorsman. Your sales on mulefishing would probably increase as well. Just a feeling. Just a thought. Just saying. I really love your channel and have subscribed since the beginning. Best regards and best wishes for continued success. All the best!
Thank you so much for the feedback Robert! I actually set up a separate UA-cam channel specifically for the company. I would prefer to keep my channel separate for now because I would like to avoid becoming too "salesy". That said, I will definitely keep this in mind. I do think this channel may need a name change in the future. Maybe I will include Mule in some fashion :) please keep the feedback up, that means a ton to me!!
You love your GULP! Minnow! Smallie! Aaw man! Got me wet! Jumbo gill!! Bald eagle! YES! You have so much different kinds of action in your videos! Beautiful slab! Let’s call it slappie!! Idiot!😂🤣😂😂I’m only joking...seriously...I was going by what you said in video...1 rig..4 species! Heck yeah! Just have a good time out there fishing! I never knew you were from Kansas! “I have a feeling we are not in Kansas anymore”...YES! Take it! Minnow in bed! NNNOOO!! Dude! Standing up in a yak!? Not me! Chartreuse is my favorite color anywhere! Wow! Beautiful Rocky..Rock-O
Usually a Cabernet! Ok just kidding I just liked the fact that you accidentally wrote wine... I use 2lb Berkley Sensation monofilament on this particular setup.
Catching five species in a day on one rig? Easy if that rig is named Ned. In my little river alone there are smallies, largemouth, pike, walleye, sauger, fallfish, mooneye, chub, rock bass, pumpkinseeds, bluegills, crappie and perch -- all of which are crazy 'bout a TRD, Hula StickZ, HogZ or what have you.
Yes, rock bass do not get the credit they deserve. For example, legend has it a rock bass came across Al Gore while he was swimming and told him how to invent the internet.
I just bought a cheap ultralight rod from walmart there were bad and good reviews but mainly bad, people are saying shakespeare broke during first cast or the line kept getting tangled but i caught some nice trout decent size bass and no issues, but im curious if you have any other ideas on what ultralight rods would be better and reels for a budget ?
Just made a video on the Okuma Celilo! But I also have heard good things about the cheap Skakespeare you are referring to. Additionally, this Shimano Sojourn is nice too!
This is a 5' Ultralight rod with 2lb test on a size 1000 reel. Because it is light gear with a rod that will load up on lighter baits, I can cast it just fine. You may be fishing with too heavy of equipment.

Thank you Brian! So many videos that get lost due to time. I appreciate you going back and watching :)

BABAAAAAAM!
Great work! I’ll have to give the Mule multispecies challenge a shot! Serious action
I would LOVE to see that! I bet you can get 5 - I believe in you :))
Awesome video! Gulp minnows have been helping be get on the bluegill bite as well as the the Gulp maggots. Keep up the videos!
Thank you! Glad they’re working well for you 🤠

Rock Bass are neat for sure! That one I caught was a thick donkey :D
Love that lake, bet if you tried you could pull a walleye out of there also

"Bad ass-America" ha ha. I was fortunate enough to see one this year as well.
Always makes me happy when I see one! Such wonderful birds :D
I had a blast watching this one!
Let's go👊🏾
What size reel was that?
It was a super fun day! Shimano Sienna Size 1000!
Another great hit keep them coming 👏
You know I will :D thanks for watching as usual my friend.
Try some polarized glasses to block out light reflections. You’ll be able to see during sunset and rise as well as spotting fish under water.
Totally agree - I use some old Costa sunglasses.
Just ordered some of those mule jigs. Cant wait!
Tyler that really means a lot! I hope you catch lots of fish on them! I’ll get those shipped today 🤠👊🏽
I've never used the gulp minnows, but I've used Bobby Garland minnows and I've had a lot of success on those.
Those are super nice too! Something about that Gulp scent, however, crushes multispecies. Definitely recommend them!
That’s exactly what I was thinking! Why didn’t you keep that slab?
I screwed up. I owe you some fish when you visit. Maybe that means you should tell me when you're coming up :)

Couldnt have said it better myself
hahahaha
try a white or black 1/32 ounce beetle spin it catches everything
Can't go wrong :)
What line you runnin on there? Weight and brand?
2lb Trilene Sensation!
What kind of wine do you use on your ultralight

Jim, sounds to me like I need to raise it to 10 species for you :D
Were you on Wabasis?
You got a good eye ;)
You should try trout magnets!
I hear they are good! Thanks for letting me know :)
What kind of line do you use on your ultralight?
Yes, rock bass do not get the credit they deserve. For example, legend has it a rock bass came across Al Gore while he was swimming and told him how to invent the internet.
Hahaha ya I think I heard that too!
Bud, U R Reeling against the Drag, twisting the line. Tighten the drag a bit. 👌🙂
Thanks for the tip :)

Loved It!
Thanks!

Team dink rules
TEAM DINK FOR LIFE!
nice rig bro.. you catch 4 species in 1 rig but i dont know why i cant cast a 1/64 oz lure

@@FishAnything i used a 6'6 ft rod n a 6 lbs japanese braid with a 1000 size reel too
@@FishAnything oh i think i know why... its because i do landbase fishing not kayak fishing 😅😅 so i need further cast than normal cast on a pond
Add a bobber and set it to the depth you want to fish. You’ll be able to bomb it then!
@@FishAnything alright thanks dude
The gulp minnow is my favorite bait especially when fishing with my ultralight gear.
Darn right! This thing kills it!
U in Michigan
Yeah buddy!
Me too
👍🏻😎
One of my favorite days of fishing this year :)
