Nice video brother these little creek fishing adventures brings a smile to my face of pure joy and excitement what else can we find while fishing this creek lol! Thanks for sharing tight lines and God bless!
From the moment Ethan released it last year, the burro bug has become my favorite ultralight plastic for creek bass. I take a pack with me every time I hit the water!
I love watching you fish and just talk and be calm while your catching fish, Thanks for making my day always with these fishing videos! They also make me want to fish more and more!
Can't blame ya for that! There ain't no better way to cool off, on a hot Summer's day, than to take a long swim (Or even a short swim!), on a hot Summer's day! Whatcha do, is take a quick dip, but kinda quietly, so as to not alarm too many fish...then, after you've taken a dip, stay in the water, and fish, wading either way, upstream or downstream. Personally, though, I start downstream, and wade upstream. I have some experience in this, and it works a lot better, than wading downstream. Sediment stirred up by wading travels downstream, alerting the fish that something is out of balance. It's an alarm system, that spooks them. However, quietly wading upstream should produce more success, in the mode of catching fish.
Another great video John - thank you for sharing. Your sniper like casting has impressed me ever since I first subscribed to your channel a few years ago!
Great part II video brother. Looks like a good time to pick up some Burro bugs, excellent profile and size for the light and ultralight spinning gear I use. Appreciate your attitude and level of contentment with catching those fish. Its always fun to me. Blessings
I love your channel sir. You really got me into ultralight wading. I must have been researching so many different things to get into wading, that eventually you popped into my recommended and I haven't stopped watching since!
Brother John-You started your video, by saying that it was hot and humid. 1: I truly appreciate the vast amount of effort you put into making these videos, no matter what the Weather Conditions are. 2:I don't believe that I have to remind you, but I'll do it, anyways. Drink plenty of water, and also, drink plenty of other types of liquids, such as Gatorade. In this Weather, you need to stop drinking drinks with a lot of sugar and caffeine. One, once in a big while, at the very most! I personally wouldn't advise it, but that, of course, is up to you. 3:When wading in the stream(s), keep on doing what I've seen you do in past videos:Take a swim! I know that you know about this stuff already, and I can't tell you what to do...and I wouldn't even dare to try. These are only helpful reminders from an older friend, who's been there, done that. There have been times in my life, when I forgot to bring the proper type of hydration, and I suffered for it! As the old saying goes:An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
Sounds like somebody was either really mad, and decided to just throw it in, or something. I don't know if I'd ever do that, to a Car Door! Believe me-I've seen enough Car Tires in Streams, and that really ticks me off! Some people most definitely have no class...or conscience! They're right around the level of a Pig!
That's got to pure fun catching them on a ultra light setup, mule baits has some cool little baits! The weather is very uncomfortable it wouldn't matter if your in the shade it's still smoking but at least your legs was cool!😂👍🎣
Personally, I wouldn't advise John, or ANYBODY, to be out in that extreme amount of heat! Temperatures in the 90s are bad enough. Imagine John, or anybody , for that matter, being out in 100+ degree heat. Unless it was extremely important, I wouldn't go out, in that kind of heat! No stinkin' way!
Watch you all the time and love creek fishing myself! Wish I could get you to northwest Arkansas! Could spend a week catching fish in hidden creeks and secluded river spots!
Man as much as you and i both fish creeks in this area i am bound to run into you one day. lol I started watching the guy from better days fishing and the other day i went to a particular creek for the 1st time and there he was. We had a little bit of a chat. Be safe out there man.
Hey, have you ever tried the mister twister micro craw? I wanted to buy some for fishing sunfish and bass and I wanted to know if mabye you had some experience with those before buying them. Loved the video, hope you have a great day
What UL rod would you recommend I’m just getting into light tackle and I just got a nice reel and I had a light rod. But I wanna pick up a true ultra light rod for slayin some gills
I don't know what your budget is, but you can't go wrong with a TFO trout panfish rod. A good blend of quality, performance and price. And it's just dang fun to fish!
Hey bro I got a quick question. Shoalie or rvr? I seen your videos and it’s a hard choice I feel. I will be doing a lot of up river/up current fishing and was leaning towards the shoalie. Would love to hear your 2cents and I dang sure appreciate it. I got a 106 paddle and it’s wearing me out fighting the kayak to the point it’s hard to fish. i feel like it pushes through the water more than cutting through it. im like 39 5'7 and 160lbs i leaned on the shoalie more because i seen where some were saying it sits on top of the water more so than the Rvr, and the hull on the shoalie looked more aerodynamic. that the rvr which looked wider and more pontoon ish to me thinking that would create more drag in the current making it harder to paddle upriver. i appreciate you taking the time to give this a read. hope yall had a safe and happy 4th
Man I wish I had more creeks around me I have one you should try john I live in albertville alabama and the creek is called short creek falls it has a beautiful waterfall and a deep pool right under the falls I've caught some pretty good spots out of there you should check it out it's my favorite getaway man
Soooo, ya know how they say that black bass aren’t “true bass”, (like white, striped, and yellow are)? They say, “They’re part of the sunfish family”. If you look up the proper name for them though, all you get is some Latin word, which every fish has, but which nobody calls them. So in English, they’ve always been called bass I guess? And what makes a bass a bass? Anyway, it’s just silly to me.
Watch your channel all the time. Your casting game is top notch, John!
If it was me it be a lot shorter video if I had to edit out my hang ups...😁
Same 😅😅
I can only cast like that about one day a month lol. Otherwise I end up snagged a bunch
Ditto.. can't help but notice, darn fine casting and presentation

@@ronaldshank7589 you ain’t lying brother and East Tennessee has been hot this summer! Hate to say it but I’m ready for fall and winter
Forget the waders this summer it's hot✌️
I love the fish that darts out of that tree root at 14:08 He said not today John! God bless my friend.
It does my heart good to see so many healthy fish in the creeks. Great video, as always, you are a blessing!
That was AWESOME to see how fast those 2 largemouth bass hit behind the log jam!!! They were fired up!! Wooooooo weeeeeeeeeee
That looked like a blast! Got some good sized bass for the smaller creek
Some of those spots were so beautiful. Especially the one with the tree canopy. Love your channel.

John, Great Video Brother you are right nothing beats a cool creek in hot summer with lots of fish biting. Thanks for sharing and God Bless You.
What a lovely way to spend the day! Great fishing !
Another good one! Man that Burro Bug absolutely slays the panfish in my creeks down here in SC. Be careful out in this awful heat!
Many Thanks John !!!!

I always wonder how things like a car door end up in a creek. ??? Bizarre. That looked like fun on a hot summer day.

I saw a full size dumpster in the French Broad in NC a few years back 🤣
@@ronaldshank7589 How about trash all over a fishing spot and a PUBLIC TRASH CAN just a few feet away? That's some pig level stuff right there too!
I found a typewriter in my local river 🤷♂️
Admire..You for getting out on a hot day. Very nice results. I was waiting for you to take the plunge somewhere To cool off.😅
I love this show, even though it makes me green with envy!! Our creeks in Texas are almost dried up. Too hot!!
Boa noite pescador, que legal rios e lagos limpos preservados e com abundância de peixes, seria bom se aqui no Brasil fosse assim ❤ 🇺🇸🇧🇷

Another great video🐟🎣🐟🎣😊
One of these rainy days when you can't get out & fish you could put together a (best of) Creek Fishing Adventures video.
Love the multi-species videos! 👍
I don’t know how anyone could watch these and not watch the whole thing.

Big fan of yours fishing small creek my favorite past time
Thanks John. Gonna get me some BurroBugs
Great vid, John!
We have a lot of streams like that here in Whitfield Co. Mostly sunfish though.
Hey, have you ever tried the mister twister micro craw? I wanted to buy some for fishing sunfish and bass and I wanted to know if mabye you had some experience with those before buying them. Loved the video, hope you have a great day
i have and i know people that love them, definitely worth using
Everywhere you go.. you catch fish.. beginning to wonder if you have more fish there than we do here, in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Minnesota.
maybe in the small streams, but i definitely need to come find out
Enjoyed as always
Good Multiple Speacies creek
Thanks for another great video
Good video. Try to keep cool best way you can ! Always be careful ! Pap Blevins
Great video thank you
Love your videos-how far can you throw that 1/64 jig? Could you do a video showing how you throw it?
Great video 👍👍
Nice video love doing that
Ok ok alright!!!!!
Nice video
I LOVE FISHING
Good day.
What’s the main way you find creeks like this? Just using maps or?
maps and a lot of driving and scouting
What UL rod would you recommend I’m just getting into light tackle and I just got a nice reel and I had a light rod. But I wanna pick up a true ultra light rod for slayin some gills
wow theres so many and so many price ranges, for something good i like to say over 50$ for a rod

@@CreekFishingAdventures no budget
Did I make it first??
Let's go fishing!
my guy was ready
John, you’ve got a big rod
rather jealous. Charlotte streams have gone silent due to low rainfall and excessive heat. Only green sunfish biting, from my experience.
Sorry to hear that, i have to be choosy to find creeks with good action right now

sounds to me like the shoalie would be better for you, i have a 120 paddle and the shoalie definitely paddles upstream better than that and the rvr
@@CreekFishingAdventures thanks brother, ill be making the 2-2.5hr trip to our dealer Saturday (we only got one dealer in Michigan)

Hi John; I live in Chattanooga area. If you could only use one rod and reel for your creek fishing. What would you use? Thanks, great channel!
depends on what im fishing for, but if i had to choose a light action 6-6 is great for a lot of species
yes sir ,looks hot , the shirt is soaked , just wear a tank bro or sleeveless or take it off , keep it simple bro ,! Really hot down in Miami , FL 🌴
❤
Wasn’t that a fish at 3:00 bottom right Walked right by it
I feel like I know where this creek is 🤔😆
i dont know, i cant have you fishing all the creeks haha

wonder if you could say a bible verse on every fishing video?
