So I think the disninct yellowish lighting that you see in alot of scenes might be from the large Digi egg thing we see over the tokyo skytree, or even just the glow from the tokyo skytree since it is also glowing.
I’m very excited for this movie. 02 is still my fave season to this day. And I hope we get some armour digivolution in the movie. Would love to see it updated to this style!

Well if memory serves (and I may be wrong) its not that they are gone, but gabu and agu have lost there forms and are data floating around matt and tai. So its just about making them whole again.
Kari becoming a teacher at the end of 02 and then her english voice actress being the teacher in Tamers really made me think Kari was a universe hopper or something as a kid lmao.

I do hope Brian Donovan will be Davis again for this movie. I didn't hate Griffin Burns, the actor for Kizuna Davis, but Brian just has that Iconic Factor, like Joshua Seth as Tai.

02 is the most underrated version of Digimon, V-Mon and Daisuke are some of the best leaders imo. I love your channel bro. Great work. It's so weird that in the new film, TK is dressed like that one white dude from Air Gear, the two characters are identical. lol. But, I was wondering, in Last Evolution, didn't Agu and Gabumon disappear? If the 02 weird ending is canon, how did they reunite with Tai and Yamato? Also, I feel the same way about Persona being similar to Digimon. I always felt like SMT was connected to Digimon in someway. Anyway, I'm excited for the new Digimon content, I wouldn't even know about without your channel, so, again, great work!

I wonder if this new guy has any connection to Ryo from the Wonderswan games? If I remember right it's stated in the games that Ryo going back in time and meeting the original computer that had the digital world on it gave it the idea to create digidestined. I might be remembering wrong though. 🤔

I'm really interested in the story of this movie. My guess as tot he plot is that Rui probably somehow set up the idea of Digi-destined and Digimon partners (hence the tagline of "were the Digi-destineds' freindships manufactured?!?" or whatever it said), which Ukkomon is now trying to carry out to its extreme by paring every human with a Digimon.
I still feel it's a shame we aren't getting completed lines for the 02 gang, or seemingly even missing Megas for the Jogress levels. Not only does it feel a waste of our first 02 product in decades to just be the Imperialdramon show again instead of completing some incomplete lines, but I like getting new Digimon so it feels a shame we're just getting Ukkomon and seemingly an unknown Mega.
I mean to be fair, if I were going to give us Megas for the Jogress beyond Imperialdramon I wouldn't just show them off before the movies drops because then it's a nice surprise unless it's been confirmed?

I wonder if Ukkomon and him being partners "in the past tense" will tie in to how the older kids in Kizuna lost their partners. Maybe it'll be a similar set up, which would also help to set up a narrative to fix that to keep the 02 ending canon

Another thing that makes miyako to look completely different aside of her new glasses are her new haircut and the lack of a headscarf or a hat but for The Beginning they decided to give her a completely different look to what we were used to.
despite the art style being the same her kizuna design in comparison was easily recognizable as her, but I dig her new look.
To be honest I subscribed for this one adventure and I hope I see more videos on business adventures I hope for great stuff

Of course. I'm coming at it from an animation / character model perspective. If Tai changed goggles or hairstyle for example, we would point it out, because it's a big deviation from the established character design. Cheers :)
It would be nice seeing armor digimon or separate evolutions for V-mon, Hawkmon, Armadimon and Wormmon.
I hope with this movie Adventure universe will be closed forever and we will get something new.
It looks like they don't know how to make movies with original characters so they kept creating new ones (Meiko, Menoa and now, Rui).
I mean, seriously, almost nothing connected Tri, Kizuna and Beginning and they still didn't connected everything with finale of 02.
It looks like before 20+ years they made 02 finale to close Adventure universe and nowadays we have only that universe open.

I'm guessing Ukomom went the way of Agumon amd Gabumon in Last Kizuna, and the story here will see them find a way to reunite Ukomon with the new Digidestined. Maybe the final shot of the movie will see Agumon amd Gabumon reuiniting with Yamato and Taichi too?
Regardless, I though 02 improved on the original series, so I'm excited for this.

I will never understand how tri and kizuna botched adding more meat to the 02 epilogue. It's so easy yet they keep messing up such easy connections.

Of course, since its a new movie, there will debut a new evolution. I just hope the new mega is not a new mode change form for Imperialdramon.
I just hope the series properly introduces natural ultimate and mega forms for veemon, hawkmon, and armadillamon. Surely, they could have designed something, being over 20 years.
If veemon does get a natural mega, I hope its similar to alfroceveedramon, but a slightly more advance look, like how Wargreymon is compared to Victorygreymon.
I wish this film should be part of a trilogy, I wish for a sequel where the 02 kids gets scattered throughout the digimon multiverse and teams up with the tamers of the respective universe. Daisuke/Davis and Ken with Takato from Tamers, Miyako/Yolei and Hikari/Kari with Masaru/Marcus from Savers/Data Squad, & Iori/Cody and Takeru/TK with Hiro from Ghost Game.

I hope this movie ends up being satisfying and I also hope that we get new evolutions kind of like how Tri (for better or worse) gave the rest of the Adventure cast their Megas.
I have a feeling that the new guy likely had the same thing happen to him as Tai and Matt. It would make sense as he supposedly had a Digimon first.
Not only that but since these movies seem to be making connections to the 02 epilogue, they kinda need to bring back the connection in one way or another. Considering that all of them seem to have their partners back. Maybe the eldest of the digidestins’ kids will be born by the end of the movie and we’ll see the return of the parent’s Digimon.
Edit: I really like the idea of them coming back when the kids are born because of the whole getting to relive your childhood with your children thing

It sounds like the "was once my partner" statement might hold some answers about what happens to the Digimon when the bond with their chosen child breaks down.
TECHNICALLY Digimon Survive answered it. Abuse and force your Digimon and it'll evolve Skullgreymon style and eat you. With chewing. I was never scared of Wendigomon (Willis' Cocomon in English), until I played that game. It's a mandatory death until new game +, too.😢

I know this is a little unrelated, but it's been bouncing around in my head since the 2020 remake/reboot of Digimon Adventure; what if they have an event where the original Adventure Digidestined/Chosen Children meet and interact with their original incarnations, and do it again after we get a Digimon 02 reboot with the original 02 cast and their rebooted versions.
A problem Digimon Adventure 02 had, and seems to be something they are trying to lessen the extent of, is that it leaned far too heavily on the original Digimon Adventure for what it was doing; it also seemed to be afraid to mix things up a bit. Some of the Digitama/Digi-Eggs didn't seem to really line up with characters and their established personalities; for example, Yolei being given the Dig-Eggs of Love and Sincerity despite the fact she played a role similar to Izzy/Koshiro from the original Digimon Adventure in her group, it would have made far more sense to give her access to the Digi-Egg of Knowledge. Still, Knowledge went to Cody instead, and we really didn't get a whole lot of setup for why it was Cody who got the Knowledge Digi-Egg throughout the series run anyway.
It would have been far more interesting to see the kids mix things up a bit with the Digi-Eggs, but that's probably just me griping about things with hindsight, screaming about copouts.
Regardless, I am looking forward to what they do with this coming movie, and it could be amusing to see a tease for the next Digimon anime project as one of the trailers/commercials for the movie, regardless of what is planned.
The picture where Daisuke (Davis), Veemon, Ken, Wormmon and Rui are lying on the ground makes me wonder what could have happened.🤔 They appear to be unconscious, but Daisuke (Davis) appears to have just regained consciousness. 🤔I hope they are fine and not injured 🥺

I really enjoyed Digimon 02 as a kid but I still feel like the writers involved missed on the opportunity to make TK the leader of the group instead of Davis. It could've been a reverse perspective of Tai and Matt friendship but with TK and Davis.

Weird to say it but I'm most excited for Silphymon and Shakkoumon (especially Shakkoumon who is one of my favs for who knows why) They got very little love in their season and no appearances in any movies. I hope they get some good action scenes in a similar style to what we saw for Greymon, Garurumon, Angemon and Angewomon in Last Evo.
Shakkoumon Mega would be great.

How about a Gangster inspired Digimon Anime. Beelzemon fits right in as well most Deadly Sins and other Digimon. It has Booze, Drugs, Stripclubs with Humanlike Digimon and so on? Thats certainly enough for Mature People. And because its about Gansters you can make it more brutal or dark. For the realistic Style im a Fan but also not because its after all fictional.

@@deronprince4291 as im not a Manga Reader myself that much its more likely a Anime. I think its easier to Tell Storys who are short like most Gangster Storys are to make as Anime. When it would be a Anime its probably 24 Episodes long or about 60 when i really want to include everything i did come up with. Im also working on some other Projects like more Mature and Story focused Pokemon Fanfictions. The Ideas are finished. Now i only need to write the Characters Personalitys and Connections. And then the Story itself. Because they are short Storys they are probably my first ever Story to come out because the Storys from the Beginning to write my own Fanfictions or Original Storys are much longer and more difficult to make.

The algorithm isn't that great. Trust me. It gives me the weird things. Just because I like Minecraft and Among Us, it sends me little kids' channels. Or families' channels. They make me feel like a creep.

Well Ukkomon is inspired by Sea Angels. No wonder you see Manaphy in it because they are both inspired by the same Animal. However Manaphy is cute. But knowing Digimon Ukkomon will digivolve into something terrible and maybe disgusting. How about Cthulumon?
I never liked him either, but that's because it never made sense that he was the leader. TK and Kari were doing this in elementary school, and both would've looked great in those goggles. TK has had boss moments, and Kari has always been both smart and empathetic and honestly should've gotten the leadership role through nepotism if nothing else. Davis has a loud voice and impulsiveness, and he's a noob. What the heck?
