Do you think I need to purchase an $89 3 year warranty?
@@suelars2803 Well if you have issues with there machine and dont have a warranty they wont bother helping you... but if you have the warranty I have no clue if theyd still help you lol.
It’s truly amazing how AtGames went from making cheap Atari and Genesis consoles to making some great and affordable at home arcade and pinball machines. Hell even their plug n’ play machines have improved. I’ve become a fan and I’m looking forward to finally picking one of these up soon.
The top screen seems like it should’ve been bigger. Lots of real estate up there for their branding instead of a larger screen for the pinball game, which is just as important to the immersion.
I used to have a basement arcade with 5 pins and 9 uprights. Now I have this Atgames pin and the Legends Untimate. These are awesome, and save me so much room.
You know 2020 has been a wild year when Madlittlepixel legitimately gives an AtGames producted a glowing review.
But he ain't wrong. Is great to see companies actually taking feedback and improving a product instead of just shoveling out crap and forgetting about it after it's released
He’s given the last several products they sent them good reviews
@@Superdimensional Don't bite the hand that feeds! XD
The review I've been waiting for. Looks awesome! I think I'm sold on it. Looks very high end.
The screen is fantastic. I can't imagine going smaller. This is the perfect size.
I’ve got my pre order in. Can’t wait to get this beast.
oh man. I must have just missed it. Preorders no longer being accepted :-(
Happy New Year Ron! Congratulations again on the 100K. More power and success.
Two Thumb butt up!👍👍
2020’s last laugh. At games kicks ass now. Really enjoying your at games coverage. I know people grumble but shit on the rise.
I wish I had the space for this. This really does seem to be a great alternative to having a "real" pinball table
I own a real pinball machine, one of the ones featured in this video pinball. If mine wasn't currently broken, I'd sell it and buy this and never look back. Real pinballs can be money pits. In my short time owning one, my perception is that most people that own them also learn how to fix them since they break and break often.
I can't believe we live in a world where Assgames is making quality products now!
Just 2 years ago I would not have predicted this... but yeah they have made a huge turn around.
@@Madlittlepixel exactly, amazing to see a company put customers and quality first and manage to turn things around.
Yeah looking at his over view does tempted me to get one. This arcade looks pretty sweet.
They're not. Their products are garbage.
Great video MLP! I've been a pinball fan since the 70s and played pinball video games for 20+ including most recently Arcade and FX. At $700 with shipping, these finally getting in my price range. Was disappointed to see AtGames is no longer taking order reservations or I would have pulled the trigger after watching this video. Thanks for another honest and thorough review MLP!
Damn, one of these days I'll get one like this. I was going to just slowly buy parts and build one, but tough to do something like this for that price.
Same here. I started going down the build my own path but quickly became overwhelmed with the complexity and cost and 3-4K for someone else's kit was something I could not afford. When this is generally available I may finally pull the trigger on a manufactured unit.
Imagine vertical shooters running on a setup like this! (0.0)
Awesome review btw
When did John C. Reilly start reviewing these?
As soon as I can unload some of my older arcade 1up machines I am buying one.
Atgames seems to have woken up after they lost the genesis classic. They must have great leadership and vision to be able to turnaround things so quickly.
the last 1.5 years for them has been an epic turn around
Arcade1up needs to pay attention
I built a bartop pinball out of my old i3 pc...and it looks just like that one... having it in a cabinet is so much more fun than the same game on the desktop!!
Nice review. I'm stoked for this cabinet. I'm real curious as to how well it integrates with VPX and Pinball FX3. Thanks for the review.
This looks really cool and appealing.
Interesting concept. I once had a gameroom with 12 pinball machines. I was always working on them which I enjoyed very much. But they weighed 2-300 pounds and took up a lot of room. I also ended up playing only about a third of them regularly. Eventually I sold them off and switched to video games for the variety and space savings. Of course now the prices are up into the stratosphere. I was buying classic Williams games 20 years ago for $1,500. Those same games are worth $7-10k!
With a virtual game inside a standard cabinet it seems you might get the best of both worlds. Zen has the best playfield selection on the market now and has begun to dabble in virtual reality. VR may be more competition to this concept than the traditional table. I don't recall you mentioning screen resolution but 60fps is a pretty slow refresh rate for a machine that is not even out yet. I think I'd wait for a better monitor because that will be unable to upgrade. I'd also wait and see how the games will be priced. $600 is suspiciously low for this much machine. I smell a console type pricing scheme. In other words, give away the machine and claw it back with each table costing $50-75 a pop. Just speculation of course. Also, most of the Gottlieb tables aren't that popular among pinball players because the tables are boring. Bally/Williams is the license to have.
I’m all in on the Legends Ultimate and Pinball. I will be purchasing my Ultimate VERY soon, this will follow when available.
Looks good to me. Wish I had room for a pinball and a arcade.
This table is very cool. It's only drawback is that tincy, tiny, little 15" back glass monitor. I reached out to AtGames, and asked about that display, and they advised there's a menu option to bump up the size of the overlay DMD that appears in front of the back glass image, so you can see it better. I wonder if you wouldn't mind doing a short vid on how to do that, if you can find that menu feature option, please. Thanks for the video.
Looks really cool so glad Atgames had turn things around
Glad to know this seems like a quality product. I'll definitely keep it in mind when I consider looking into getting home arcades.
Now just add the old arcade games Pac Man, Space invaders and so on to the pinball main screen and you have a all in one. Cool deal.
Wow an unfiltered atgames review great job man ... Can you highlight the arcade net and bring your own games on a future video
Honestly AtGames has been knocking it out of the park lately
I can’t wait til the community gets their hands on this. If we can get pUCE’s running natively the BYOG tab is going to get really crazy. The ALU is already the cheapest MAME cabinet you can buy from retail. Crazy if this gets to that level too.
Did you buy the backbox replacement? Mod it? Any interest in the new 4k coming out?
I began playing pinball machines back in the early 70s, and I would absolutely love something like this. Not really in my price range these days, and AtGames going with Farsight just reminds me of how much a mistake Farsight made by giving up the Bally/Williams license. I bought most of them when they announced giving that up, so hopefully AtGames will eventually allow local streaming, since I have so many games on Steam.
Frankly, given my age (58) I'd love to see Farsight actually start making older Gottlieb games, from the 60s and 70s. I think it's a shame for them to not make a table based on the classic Bicentennial pin from 1977...a big reason I keep the old Microsoft Pinball Arcade from 1998 around. Thankfully that can still be played on Windows 10. And speaking of Williams/Bally, could you imagine playing Pinbot or Bride of Pinbot (or for that matter, Medieval Madness) on this machine?
Hard to believe this one only costs $600. Real glass top, top notch looking DMD, accelerometers for tilt action play. What more can you ask. Future potential to download any tabletop you like to boot. Damn; so tempted to buy one (did get my $600 check from Uncle Sam; hmmmmmm. lol). :)
Good to see virtual pinball is starting to roll into the home arcade market. I'm hoping for Bally/Midway pinball games to show up in the future, assuming anyone can get the licensing.
Great video MLP! U covered all the bases IMO. Happy new year all! Peace!
Looks like an amazing pinball machine...i d love to have one but too bad that unfortunately i don't have the space 😕 anyways awesome stuff...have a Happy New Year!!!
Whenever I get my own place, I'll be getting 1-2 of these. Real machines are a bitch to maintain and I don't mind playing the virtual machine route that assimilates it with haptic feedback.
I have an legends system from them and I love it. I like it better than my three arcade1up cabinets. I’ve never been a pinball fan but I may pick this one uo
Great showcase of the Pinball, Now please if you can give them the feedback they need so they can get to wave 3 before the summertime and get our reservations going lol
I am surprised a little bit that you are so positive about it. Damn, now i have to get this machine because i trust your judgment. And you opinions didn't let me down in the past. Only thing that make my purchase final is the PC compatibility (over Hdmi / usb) with the Vpin X / Steam games. When i see that this is working well, its a insta buy.
Already possible with their Legends Gamer deck, which I use all the time. This uses the same ecosystem and is absolutely possible.
@@-haso yes... theoretically. I want to see it in action on the pinball cab with playfield and backbox. How is this even doable with just one hdmi.
1up pin could learn a lot from this build. The screen is just so much better. If you are going to make a product concentrate on the main viewing area. Get the licensing, get my money.
How well does it do at tricking you to think you're on a real table? Are the haptics very strong? I remember playing pinball where as you bounce between the bumpers the tablet would go nuts and you can feel it.
0:32 lol! Yes it is, and i have to get it up a flight of stairs... YAY!
2020 has been one hell of a year, now At Games actually made something good, hell has finally froze over
Actually besides their emulators like sega etc they make good stuff
Great review. Waiting on Atgames to ship, looks like they don’t want our money.
Thank you for saying “Other Guys” instead of mentioning that companies name like every other channel.
9:03 He does say their name. I don’t think it’s a problem like you do, but he definitely says their name.
I have mine on preorder, can’t wait to receive it.
I legit am loving this machine lol, if it was booboo Id of said so. I can't really find anything negative to say. I mean the built in game list may or may not be appealing to everyone... but thats always subjective~ Otherwise yeah... this thing is legit.
@@Madlittlepixel Glad to hear it MLP enjoy! 👍
Me too! Hey these are real tables ported over so you know they take more skill to play
@@alevcimen4891 You already received yours?
@@jollygreen9377 not yet . We’ll have it 2021!!
Where can these be bought not seeing them online
This and the Arcade 1up Marvel edition have a plunger. Virtual pinball is very tempting.
I have had friends decades ago who had a real pinball arcade machine here and there which was dope. Virtual is what I dig as you can have multiple games in one cabinet and I like that plan as I don't have space for an arcade of original style pinball arcade machines. Maybe someday. I'm planning to move soon! Happy new year yall. Peace!
The marvel one is arcade1up not atgames
@@Retrogamershaun
Duh. Perhaps you should re-read my comment.
I saw you scrolling thru a list of arcade games at one point ~5:50 - can you also play arcade games on this? Or only pinball?
Yes you can play other games on this as well.
Since you do not need the nudge buttons, is it possible to configure them to secondary flippers in the control settings?
What are the dimensions that you mentioned, length 44 inches, height 24 inches and width 19 inches ?
Is there a choice of artwork available for the cabinet ?
This looks decent. If it had some of the pinball FX tables on it it would be a sure fire purchase for me
Crossing my fingers AT GAMES will send me a unit for purpose of review.🤞😆
Interesting video, tempted to order one of these. What spec is the pc inside the machine and which tables are included ? Will be interesting to see if this sucker can be hacked to add Pinball Arcade and pinball fx2 and fx3 tables. What is the purpose of the hdmi port ? I see there is also a usb3 port on there which means it will more than likely be possible to hack.
Have built my own machine which i used a 24 inch monitor for and it connects to my pc, using ipac2 to convert/assign keyboard keys to buttons.
Glad to hear you liked it. I'm bouncing back and forth between this and a few other machines. Every time I think one is going to be the clear winner I hear something else about one of the other units that really ups the ante, but I think this is the one I'll be going with when I finally have the space and the funds. It's clear that the home arcade market has seen a real boom in the last couple of years.
Random question with regard to this unit as well as the Legends Ultimate cabinet's HDMI port. On their site they mention that the port is compatible with some devices, which is a bit of an odd statement. Can I hook up my cable box to these units and watch tv on the arcade cabinet? How about a game console?
Yeah the hdmi port can be used to display anything, you then select orientation and which screen you want to display the source on.
@@Madlittlepixel Sweet! Thanks. :-)
Looks like fun, Happy Holidays Pal
I just want PinBot, damnit
Not a huge pinball guy but I do play if there's a cool one around.woukd be sick to get terminator, star wars, and Beetlejuice on there too
You know people are going to mod this to run pinball fx
Or virtual pinball, but yea this is going to be modded to death.
You might not need to mod it. It has the same features as the ALU, so I imagine you could just hook a PC up to it with their OTG mode and play that way.
Hopefully it can stream FX 2 and 3 from the PC and save us all the time lol
hope so itll be worth it then
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Look like a quality product! Nice review 👍
If you are into retro gaming or gaming collectibles, checkout JoypadLad , he is having a sale that ends tomorrow, 25% off everything. I just placed an order for a few NES/SNES games and other random stuff lol! Check em here: bit.ly/3812CYI I have purchased from him before and found out about him as he is a subscriber to my channel. I've got a few really good deals from his online shop in the past~
Ron if you had a game room with 9 arcade 1up's would you get this pin ball or the MVSX cab? Happy New Years also, be safe.
I wouldn't get any of the 1ups firstly lol, second yeah I'd rather have this than the MVSX. I have the MVSX and don't use it.
Some good information to know , not bad really for a budget table , would make a good start donor for people who carn't make things but are good at computers
I think of I decide on virtual pinball . I am glad I have options. I think only way I'd buy arcade 1up is if I got a universal Studios table. Other than that at games is a lock
Thanks for the review. Does it give you a choice for 3 or 5 balls per game?
Damn shipping on 100lbs + , that sounds scary all by itself. Gottlieb pinball is all I remember from way way back, never got into the newer stuff .
Good morning....happy new year.....hoping you can point me in the right direction. My down function has stopped working on my player 1 joystick. Every thing else works fine. I have swapped joystick assy's and also plugged wiring harness for player 2 into player 1 plug on pc inside the control deck, still no down function. Last thing i tried was to resolder the plug for player 1 joystick on the pc inside control deck (maybe cold solder joint)......no luck.....any thoughts ??
I don't have room for this. I wanted something like this.
Would be cool if they added a pinball fx tables.
Is there something else i can look at with better qualty? I bet you gotta set it up and thats always a pain. This looks ready to go.
Digital pinball was nice on Amiga, mechanical pinball all the way.
Happy new year Mr. Pixel!
Is the back screen animated with Lights Camera Action, and others?
Can not find a place to buy this in the USA sadly.
That’s very Nice for that Price.A normal Pinball machine is cool. But it is expensive (starts at 3000 and go’s to 9000)and maintenece.I would like to have something like this (Hopefully with Bally and Williams tables)my favorite is still “Attack from Mars” from “Bally”.
Where do I find the link for Your itens at Amazon to buy the battery You showed at the mini astro city unboxing please?
This machine just baffles me. I wonder if there's a market for it.
Seems like a super niche product, I'd imagine most pinball enthusaists (lol) would want the feeling of an actual physical ball and flippers. Buying a LCD screen for twice the price, just for it the be already setup to play without the hassle of building of machine yourself, I can't imagine a huge market for that.
Pacific Pinball Museum Alameda CA ?? If so I'm down the street from there , that place is rad . there was a 90's video game arcade called High Scores too but think it closed with covid
Great review! I'm just wondering when in the world they're gonna start fulfilling the Reservation list before this goes to stores. Not having any sort of info on some kind of date is very inconvenient.
Definitely picking this up. Take my money
Me: Imagine hooking up my supergun to this and playing Dodonpachi Black label, Tate mode on this screen. 🤔 😉🍺
Looks pretty neat. Any idea if medieval madness will be available in the future? If so that would be a big incentive for me.
That is really nice - even the price isn't bad for what you get. Get Lethal Weapon 3 or Star Trek:TNG on it, then I might buy.
Is the screen 4k? What is the refresh rate on it?
any way to play jurassic park and fun house on that i like those too a lot
The ball itself looks bad. It’s like a moving jpg. No animation or reflections at all. Doesn’t look like shiny steel.
I agree the ball looks very floaty.
I think this is due to the SOC. You can only do so much with what is powering these units.
@@skywalkr2 then they should use something better. This thing costs $600. I’m not expecting ray traced reflections but for that price you can get a next gen console.
@@manuel0578 Lot more here than just the SOC. Consoles don't come with dual monitors, cabinets, etc.
Its Gottleib ball physics. Thats what I was told. But the ball floaty-ness is whats turning me off
I would love to get my hands on one of these
How about a follow-up review on the included tables themselves?
Already recorded each table just gotta edit it together. But it's coming
@@Madlittlepixel Awesome! Looking forward to it.
They should allow you to hook up arcade sticks and let you play shmups on these too. That long screen would be almost prefect for allot of them. and could be a cool alternative to having a table top....just use a stool.😅
thumbs up because of the way you said beitch.
Well, I certainly couldn’t have put together a unit like that for less than $500. I could have bought the supplies maybe, but never figured out how to put it together. So, yeah, it’s worth $500 to me.
I wanna know what brick and morter retailers will have it.
Sam's Club but they're sold out.
Does it have the Terminator 2 pinball table cuz I know the license for that has jumped around off and on over the years
hi ,great preview,
i want to buy one now,but i'm living in canada,québec,
it seem's like i have to wait till March 2023 to get one here in canada
Is there someone now where i can buy one now that can be delivered in canada?
Iv'e got AtGames Legends Ultimate and it's a hunk of junk. POOOOOOOOOR build quality that falls apart after just months.
I don't understand the target demo for this.
Anyone know how to get one? I can't find any on the website or even ebay
Simone should convert games like pacman pinball, sonic spin ball, space cadet, and other unrealistic binball tables over to this thing.
I actually saw a game kinda like air hocky and it paddles that reminded me of the game breakout. You could move the paddles left right and spin them 45° in either direction. Makes me think you could build that one pinball game from namco museum on the Wii but IRL. You would not be able to play that game on this "fake" pinball table. Cutie-Q
I don't understand why people always worry about the glass? Is it cheap glass? Many cases come with glass side windows, and have been doing it for a while now. If the glass is tempered and properly packaged it should not be an issue.
