Dude this is the way. To make it even better, I found it also reloads the item if you teleport to another system and back. So I jumped around checking other guild inventories and I basically am warping and collecting a storage expansion module for ships then back to system and getting frigate module. Play around until you find the other key items you want but I’m cleaning up on so much good stuff now. Just a short jog over to the teleporter! Gonna max out my ship and unlock all the freighter stuff at the same time! Thanks for this!
Wow I'm surprised no one has talked about this. Took me a few minutes minutes to get to master but nothing too demanding. It can also be a great nanite farm seeing as how you can also pick up the A-S modules every time as well
No need for a save reload. Just use the station's teleporter to go to a different star system. Planet base or space station doesn't matter, just make sure it's in a different system. Then return. If you have two systems with useful guild goodies you can hop between them back and forth. I got a system with a Cargo Bulkhead and another with the Salvaged Frigate Module. I just got back and forth between the two.
Just a quick add on to this - I was having trouble finding an Explorers guild then another youtube vid pointed out that they are separated by regions in space. So if all you're getting is the same guild over and over (my initial region I spawned in was all Mercenary guilds), go to the Galaxy warp map, figure out what region you're in currently and then make sure you warp to a different region. Keep repeating until you get explorers guild. Once you do, all stations in that region will have an explorer guild and you can try different stations until finding the frigate module.
I just found my Enterprise Freighter (named the Enterprise nx-01 heheh) I didn't realize I had to find these salvage data things instead of the normal data ones... this seems waaaay more easier and less enraging then hunting empty crashed freighters
There are still advantages to do freighters, namely the upgrade module at the engineering console in the last room, and this particular system I am in here has a famous freighter encounter with more than 50 boxes that can drop salvaged freighter modules as well, so it's worth coming here with the scanners and do freighters for several reasons, but yeah this is a great way to get some technology into your freighter fast :)
@@ardbug9577 I raised my merchants guild rank from 0 to 100 thanks to a reserve of salvage data and accelerators, then I did the trick with the freighter data things, enough times that I could get all the design upgrades, my Enterprise is undergoing its final construction, definitely a good shortcut :D

True, but some gamers, myself included, do not enjoy overdoing the cheese, this is an alternative to cheesing it to the maximum, glory to the cheese though :D
@Monkey33662 you just put the frigate modules in your refiner, take another refiner and physically place it in the exact same place and then hold R3 to break the refiner. This will trick the game into giving you multiple back.
Another tip if the guild envoy of the current system space station is providing the salvage frigate module, the same rewards can be found from that systems guild envoys in colossal archives. So build a base near a colossal archive in that system with the salvage frigate module so u can teleport between the two and get two salvage frigate modules. And since others have pointed out u dont need to restore your save point to get the items refreshed just warp out from the system and warp back in through a teleporter. So teleport to another system and teleport back here to get the salavage frigate module from space station, then teleport back to base near the colossal get salvage frigate module from there, then teleport out from the system and come back and rinse and repeat.
They don't have Salvaged Frigate Modules. I went to 5-6 different Space Stations, just in case the items change from station to station, but they're the same everywhere.
@@ardbug9577 Yeah, i really didn't even know what these were. I had to Google it and i found out that some time later in the game, i will find a portal to enter these. But it's all good now. thank you a lot my guy, that helped me alot and saved me so much time
You can use the reload restore point trick to donate items as well. Works like a charm, thanks!

Yep jumping between a freighter module and a bulkhead would be a nice way to get a new freighter up to specs :)

Is there any indication that the system will have explorers guild in particular? Or is it just rng?
