Yea and they've had at least a century to figure out what they can get away with without the people noticing or caring and I believe they have basically figured out they they can literally violate the whole entire constitution if they keep us comfortable and keep pumping out new technology and they figured out they won't get punished for violating it it just goes to the Supreme Court they say no and they they so oh sorry our bad here we forgot to put a coma in here pass it again this should satisfy the Supreme Court then the Supreme Court doesn't get to that for years meanwhile they put judges in that do not believe in the bill of rights absolute authority over our laws so eventually our judges get worse and worse and the only pool you have to pick from for the Supreme Court are anti constitution judges who will turn there own Courtrooms into banana republics and say things like the second and 1st and 4th ammendment do not exist in my courtroom and that is where are country is headed fast.

She was confirmed by the Senate as deputy. It is the job of the president and Senate to select, nominate, and confirm the next secretary, unless she is the nominee, she has no authority or input into that process. So, who is not doing their job? That would be the president and the Senate.

She was confirmed as deputy and took over when the secretary left. This is a normal succession until a replacement is appointed. What should she do? Resign? Why hasn't the president appointed somebody. If she was rejected by the senate, it's his responsibility, not hers, to come up with another candidate.

Listening to her being questioned by various senators, she side steps every question, will not answer a direct question, skirts around and gives long winded answers. What is clear is she is "acting" in a position which she states she was confirmed at but is not confirmed in the position she actually is doing. She wastes the time given during each person asking her questions without giving any answer. This one with union information and using tax payer moneys to put this together is just too much! She needs to go.

You seem unclear on the role of the Senate in this process.
The Senate is not responsible and doesn't have the ability to fill the role. The president nominates a person for the position, and the Senate confirms or denies that nomination. Biden has simply refused to accept the Senate's rejection of this nominee, made her "acting" secretary, and hasn't nominated anyone else.

If what a union does is required for the average worker to have better employment why doesn't that acting secretary just enact all the things a union would do at the federal level so unions won't be needed? If she truly believed the rules a union will make for its members are required then why not enact those rules by law so unions would become obsolete? I think there is a financial incentive for the unions to remain in operation, a financial incentive for the union leadership and the politicians that support them more than the vast, vast majority (94%) of private sector workers not members of a union.
